At this stage, i am well convinced that there is nothing like escalation, all the emails we get from ukvi for escalation are automated, because my last escalation time expired yesterday without any brp or collection mail and i did another paid mail today all they told me is they have escalated me again that i should wait for another 15 working days lol…

Mind you my school resumes on monday, and i am still stuck at DMC, whereas my visa decision have been made since on the 13th of December 2022, biometric was on the 1st of December, i have done over 10 paid calls.

At this stage I’m done emailing or calling them. Let God’s will be done.

@dduchess and gurus in the house please I need you advice. Biometric was done on the 23rd of November, BPR mail dropped on the 9th December, stating decision was made on the 2 December. However port has not been returned till date. Sent several paid mails and made several calls, was told port will be returned as as possible for over two weeks now. Informed school immigration team, they wrote them and was told their was a technical issue while producing the vignette, but that the student will receive the port very soon. Went to the TLS and nothing yet, School resumed on the 9th. Please what other options do I have.

I am already tired.
I don't know what to do anymore.

Myself the MA is yet to collect and waiting for collection mail. looks like this TLS people are mad. i want to leave on Tuesday.

It is frustrating, different thoughts coming through my head. I don't think this people know the emotional torture one is going through.

Just like my case biometric 1st of December 2022 i did paid call decision was made 13th of December 2022 till now no brp no collection mail, I escalated on 29th of December till now nothing, i think this whole issue is from ikeja because most people that did at vi and abuja are collecting their ports back with vignette on it.

I really don’t know what the problem is after making decisions it should only take 3 to 4 days to send back to VAC since decisions have been made it’s going to 2 months now nothing school resumes on 23rd.

Seeing everyone post visa even those that did after i did makes me feel some kind of way.

Assuming decision has not been made now, it’s another thing decision has been made since 13th of December.

What I don't understand is why some people don't get their port for long after decision is made and while some get.

I eventually got a collection email few days back after visiting TLS again with the instruction letter from UKVI to release my port.
UKVI gave me the most frustrating times of my life in 2022 both financially and emotionally. I lost 2 travel scholarships (Asia and Europe) because of their delay in returning my port (over 4 months) for nothing. I realised that £55 payment VI is nothing but an offering. If not for the letter I took there physically, I doubt if I will ever get my port back.

I don't understand why they are holding port o.

I did biometrics on 1st December, decision was made on 18th December,I got my brp mail on 24th ,till today being 10th of January I haven't received my port,I have tracked my application severally ..it's still showing application recieved by dmc..my traveling date is next week...I don't know what to do .. please advise

I got my decision 29th Dec.
I got a Successful BRP mail 3rd of Jan.

But till now, no collection mail and it is still at DMC.

Make this people no frustrate me o.

Please I need an urgent solution to this. I did my bio on 12th December, 2022 and my dependant did hers on 13th December, 2022. Everyone, please be very vigilant especially if you have gotten a decision but it's taking longer than usual to get your port back. I know they will tell you to wait 10 working days after getting decision before you will get your port but THAT IS NOT NORMAL! We all know it doesn't take that long to get your port back. People that get a decision on the 13th working day usually get collection mail on the 15th working day.

Today made it 10 working days after decision/brp letter and I hadn't gotten my port. I called British High Commission Abuja customer care and the staff that took my details called my mobile line later that night and was demanding 50k before he could track my port for me. I did my bio since the first week of August so, the past 8 weeks have been from one battle to another. Luckily, my friend told me yesterday that she had a family friend in BHC so I quickly gave her my details. The I got was that my port had basically been abandoned! UKVI didn't even bother to inform BHC to print my visa. It was my friend's family friend that sent an email to UKVI and they finally approved it that same yesterday. My visa was printed and was dispatched by DHL today!!! Due to their negligence, I have already missed a lot in school and I will still miss classes of next week and a bit of upper week because one-way flight tickets for this coming week are showing 2M and above.

All I'm saying is that be vigilant! It's not normal for our ports to just be sitting in BHC office collecting dust. Infact, if it's taking longer than 3 days after decision, start sending emails and blasting them with calls. BHC o, UKVI o, all of them are incompetent!!!

Counting your days it isn't up to 15 working days, you have to exclude the holidays.
