You can't even read what you posted? Where was other zones mentioned in that post? It was all about more federal housing estates in Owerri. No other place. Imo the state of education is led like a state for dropouts because there is no democracy in the state. Wonder what hell of life it will be like when about 50% of the population of Imo state settle in Owerri senatorial district.
oga tinubu isn't constructing any new estate currently, buhari's estate is located in avu so Tinubu isn't building any new estate in Nigeria. This is imo state project but federal housing authority will handle the project.

Imo in advance talks with Afreximbank for $1.5 billion investment deal — Hope Uzodimma
In a bid to ensure a robust economic growth, Governor of Imo State Hope Uzodinma is meeting with multinational firms.
This effort has so far yielded an investment portfolio worth a massive two point five billion US dollars, which after completion will create jobs, boost the economic profile as well as open up the South East to the world.
Last year, the Imo State government flagged off the dredging of the Orashi river to the ocean to boost the economic fortune of the State.
The project which is dear to the governor is believed to bringing industrial revolution of the South East region when completed as he has secured an Oil and Gas Free Zone status for Orashi hence the need to woo investors.
First was an investment meeting with Chief executive and directors of the Africa Import export bank Afrexibank in Cairo Egypt.
Governor Uzodinma’s team also held an investment meeting with Elsewedy electric, one of the leading power firms in the continent. Shortly after the meetings, the parties signed an MoU for the firm to build some key projects the State.

You don't want gov Hope Uzodinma's more markets in your Owerri hometown? Why? Population drift from Orlu and Okigwe zones into Owerri has necessitated the markets in Owerri. This population drift to Owerri zone is because Owerri zone houses nearly all the federal and state ministries institutions and parastatals in Imo state, no consideration to leave even one development project in Orlu and Okigwe zones to develop from. A state or region where only one locality hosts more than 98% of govt development projects alone, attracts most of the population from the other parts of the state denied govt establishments - such a state is immersed in fraud. Now trending: due to migration to Owerri, modern generation of people from Orlu and Okigwe zones speak only Owerri dialect of Igbo language, adopt the culture and traditions of Owerri. Reasonable people from Orlu senatorial district are now bent on stopping the trend.
I'm from oguta oga, u people failed to make any progress in orlu with the international market built many years ago

Owerri, you still want to eat head and tail in Imo state?
Stop this your SALE of SNAKE OIL.
Orlu state proposal is still as it was proposed in 2006 and was about to be created before Senate President Nnamani threw away the baby with the bathtub.
FYI, onye mgbu, in 1976 when Imo state was cut out from the old East Central State, people of Anambra state never objected to cutting out Imo the oil producing area from them. Today, is Imo better than Anambra and Enugu States?
Because of fear in Oru-Owerri people that Orlu senatorial zone deserves a state of its own, and might be made a state before long is reason why your Oru-Owerri seized 99% of government institutions that induce human and economic development in Imo state and located all in Owerri zone during the military era.
The difference in levels of urban development between Owerri and Orlu in 1976 was thin. But because Owerri seized all government institutions and parastatals in Imo state for location in Owerri zone, and nothing for Orlu zone to develop with, modern development and urban expansion in Owerri zone quickly ballooned. Orlu stagnates in modern development.
oga what south east needs is true federalism and regional system of government, that is the only thing that will quench this agitation not new state creation. Those that are fighting for new state are looters who wants to be governor of the new state nonsense

miscellaneous12:
Hello guys. I have been following the Eastern threads on Nairaland as a guest for about 4 months now and as a person who has spent all his life in Lagos, I must confess that the South East is much better than the picture I had previously painted in my mind. As an Igbo man who has never crossed Asaba before, the pictures I have seen from the 5 eastern threads on Nairaland has made me decide that I must visit the East when next I travel to Asaba for Christmas.
With the kind of beautiful pictures I have been seeing here and the mindset most Nigerians have about the East, there seem to be a disconnect because most Nigerians don't even know that good things happen in the East. You guys are trying with the exposure by taking pictures of the various Eastern cities but it is not really enough. I think it is time to get more professional with our exposure drive. Nairaland is good for exposure as it's pages get indexed by Google quickly but Nairaland has some disadvantages which are:
1) Images on Nairaland are heavily compressed so they lose much of their quality.
2) The images on various pages are usually mixed with awkward images posted by people who may be envious of the development strides of the East. It does not go well when a tourist is viewing images of Owerri or Onitsha on Nairaland and starts seeing dirty images of wastes and canals, some of which are not even images from the East.
Due to the disadvantages I mentioned above, I am here with a collaborative proposal where we can come together to promote the East on more professional and popular image platforms like Pinterest, Getty, Unsplash and Pexels etc. The idea is to put our heads together, take beautiful pictures of our cities and get them to be accepted on those platforms I mentioned earlier. I wanted to do this alone but, I currently live and work in Lagos so it's impossible for me to take pictures of the East.
Here is how it will work:
1) We create a group where we can share suggestions and images. All of the group will be known as "contributors".
2) I will be responsible for photo editing, keyword and key phrase research, and ing the images on the various platforms. Those platforms have pretty high standards for the quality of the images ed there, and that is were I come in to edit the photos to try to meet their quality standards.
3) You guys who usually images on Nairaland can share these high quality images in a Zip file in the group so I can work on them.
I am hoping that if we get images of our cities on those image platforms, it can help in creating better exposure of the cities in the East. If you search for images of our cities on Google or Pinterest, you may not be impressed with what you will see. Most of the images are of very poor quality which is a huge turn off and they don't really showcase the East well enough. It also doesn't have to be stressful, all we need are about 20 - 50 images of each major Eastern city. That should be enough at least for now.
I am currently working on creating s on the platforms I listed and I am hoping to get collaborators to me on this small project. that we don't always have to wait for someone somewhere to do it, we can actually do it ourselves. If you are interested in this project, kindly quote me. I will open either a WhatsApp group or a Telegram group for all /contributors to .
Please I also want you all to note that this not a money making venture, so don't expect to get financial rewards. If you are familiar with the platforms I listed above, you will know that they are all free platforms. The mission of this project is to promote our land and not to make money just as you don't make a dime from Nairaland. If you intend to make money from selling your pictures, you can as well open the s yourself and do your business.
why u don't visit ur state or are you from asaba? Group up man doesn't know his father's Land it's very bad
