Who’s telling you what to post or what not to post. It’s your handle, you can post whatever you like while anyone can also point out how illogical your post is. Don’t let it trigger you. cheesy

At least I have helped you achieve one thing today, which is to apply logical thinking when someone information across to you.

I still stand by my gut that the caller was also an applicant. cheesy

Don’t be silly. The only thing you’ve achieved is displaying your poor attitude and Ill training. You’re rude and childish.

i got some info from someone privy to insider info from the management. It’s not verified but most likely true. I won’t go into too much details lest I get lynched by keyboard warriors.

1. Process was in the hand of a female GGM. The process was finished without external influence but then the new management had issues with the selection as some zones had more successful candidates than others.

2. GGM was asked to review to ensure a more balanced selection.

3. With new management, interests seem to be mounting pressure. Also, new of the house want slots for their constituents. workers from refineries are threatening strike action because they want to be converted to permanent staff before any new recruits would come in.

4. All these have caused delay in the release of the APL’s

5. If you doubt me, please do so honorably. I’m just relaying info I got and I felt I should share with those that need to hear. If you insult me, I’ll leave you to God, I won’t bother responding. Cheers and have a nice day. Best wishes as you wait for APL.

No surprise. I learnt some people have been resuming at the towers since last week. I was reluctant to share because of naysayers and others that insult freely.

Hello bro. Thanks for clarifying things for us. If it's not a hassle, could you please ask your brother if those who didn't put down their details due to circumstances beyond their control can still do that, and how we should go about it.

We'll greatly appreciate if you can help us.

Thank you sir.

I doubt much can be done if you’re name is not on the list but I’ll ask my bros

Warm appreciation on your contribution to this thread. Would you by chance have any further information as to when APL would be sent? Someone said next week, some others are saying after Sallah or September perhaps?

I really don’t know. I’ve heard speculations that it’s coming out in August. But I post anything that news for us to share and if I hear anything I’ll post it here

what happens when, one does interview with his friend, same date, same time, same bank, same type, same state, one has been paid and the other has not been paid. If there ever is a case like this. Before you quote me, I was trained in school to always raise questions in the face of uncertainty.
Does anyone fall to this category.

You seem to skip the likelihood that both names may not fall in the same list. Other candidates having interviews may fill the list before the latter friend fills his. They are simply working with the lists.

Now to put an end to the saga of the relationship between Tfare and APL:

PS: You’re free to not believe me. I know I’m way too matured to spread fake news or just to generate clout for no reason. I’ll attach proof to this.

1. I had my interview on the 2nd and received alert last week.
2. I kept reading about the theories here and truly it got me thinking that they might be some truth to it.
3. I decided to investigate through the networks available to me.
4. I discovered that Terhemba king anyam (popularly known as King) works with a bros of mine at nnpc (I know about 4 close people working in the towers).
5. I decided to my bros to help clarify what I’ve been reading on Nairaland today. He promised to get back to me.
6. At midday I got impatient and decided to put a call through but his number was busy. Tried later after an hour and it was busy and he didn’t return the call.
7. He texted and said he’ll get back to me. That he wants to call the TA to the GMD to clarify.
8. Not to long ago, he called and told me that he wasn’t able to get through to the TA because of how busy they are and he’ll most likely get to him at night, but, he called King and king said that THERE’S NO TRUTH to the rumour. That they are working on paying everyone. That they are working based on lists and the work is still on going.

Hi Onunu,

Thanks for the update and for wiping the thread back to track.

Please what parameters make up a candidate's total interview score?

Thanks in advance.

Honestly, I don’t know the parameters. The info I got made me understand that a score is aggregated after the interview. That’s all I know

Thanks for your info Bro

So from your previous post, it's been established that the interview scores would be a determinant for final grading before other factors will be considered?

The 5 or 8/state is strictly for EH, Right?

Yes... the interview score is the determinant. The 5 or 8 is strictly for EH. GT slots are way higher

5 EH per state and 8 per oil producing states sums to about 207 what happens to d remaining 43 shocked

Could be 5 or 6 per state depending on competition and other metrics best known to them. But oil producing states would be slightly higher

Your source didn't also tell u why people haven't been paid till date? Or do we xpect it todaY?

Didn’t discuss that. I know for certain that everyone would get paid regardless of the outcome of the interviews

From my source:

1. 1000GTs to get Apl’s and 250 EH’s needed.
2. Competition is stiff all round but most especially for EH cadre because interview scores are close and about 5 to be selected per state and about 8 in oil producing states.
3. No consideration for CBT scores as they were aggregated as just on their database
4. It’s all down to fine margins.
5. Selection is being worked on now and we should hear from them by early August

I wish everyone the best of luck

I don't any of their names.

Experience cool

1. One minute to introduce yourself
2.a. Types of engineering maintenance
b. Explain any one in a. above
3. Three challenges in engineering project management
4. Factors affecting global crude oil price
5. Hazard in replacing burnt ceiling bulb and how you can prevent the hazards
6. One situational question.

Any question for us?

What was yours like?

1. Introduce yourself
2. How would I remediate Ogoni land
a.) ministry of environment has banned importation of microorganisms, what other method would I use to remediate
3.) how do I conduct site assessments
4.) if a member of my team is letting the team down, how do I handle the situation
5.) constraints of project management
6.) what’s renewable energy, my take on renewable energy in Nigeria and Types of renewable energy
7.) difference between a process and a project
8.) 4 workplace hazards

In between I think I’ve forgotten a few questions because between the 2nd and 3rd question, they asked me other things. Lol. They were just asking me questions back to back. My session went for a little over 20minutes

You say it's faceless forum yet you referred to intimidation?

Have you been briefed on self esteem, pride and intimidation?

Everybody is got something to show dear; just that some of us understand what to share. Atleast, I earned my qualifications. Lwkmdfh.

The essence of the thread is to rub minds, share ideas and experiences. No one here is appointed as class monitor or control officer to be calling another out on a post. If you feel someone is showing off, why not ignore the post? let's learn to be tolerant of others even when it doesn't make you feel comfortable. Thanks

How was the interview experience?

They were a bit thorough. My session went for at least 20mins. I think I answered 5 questions directly related to my field, 1 situational, 1 safety, 2 project management asides the usual introduce yourself and some little talk after the interview was over. Do you their names?

i am actually very curious. why do you think i would want to mention all these things (by the way which started cos someone asked me why my one of my interviewers was intrigued), on here to virtual s on a virtual social network platform like nairaland. I don' normally respond to this, but this got me curious. I would really love to understand your rationale behind someone saying they did this and this ( not fake news to which the rationale can be understood) or acheived this and this, to impress ''nairalanders'' . To what end ?
Are nairalanders my future interviewers, or are they close physical friends or am I expecting a contract from any one of them? This is a an anonymous forum with personal details of s hidden, so there's no need to seem or look good to anybody. I'm really confused. This is like bashing someone who shared a work experience or did an AMA on reddit and then saying this person is fake. Those who use Reddit should understand my analogy.

I'm really confused, and i didn't reply you because i wanted to but to satisfy my curiousity for behavioral issues - on social media. Might make me read some articles, published papers or journals on such concepts.

My bro... congratulations on your achievements. Please don't mind the critics. People easily switch to bad belle when they are intimidated. They easily say you're proud or showing off ( I wonder... in a faceless forum?) please don't be deterred, share your experience, that's the essence of this thread. Best wishes and I pray for you make the best decision when the offers start flooding in. Cheers!
