This week, we want to share with you one of our most recent works completed in our workshop specialized in in servicing Andrakk Rechargeable Fans. The images we present today belong to the repair of andrakk wall fan (ADK2416WF) for one of our customers. The issue with the fan was osciliation not working. This fan was repaired in a short period of time, thanks to Andrakk's stock of spare part. The osciliation motor(servo motor) was replaced. This minimized the repair time and allowed us returned the fan the same day so that the customer can continue with his comfort.

The main repair and replacement carried out were as follows:
-Complete disassembly and cleaning
-Replacement of DC servo motor

I decided to drop this here, to save another person from getting cheated by Jumia and I will be brief.

I bought a rechargeable Lontor fan from Jumia for N22, 549 on the 26th of February, 2020 and exactly 7th March, 2020 ( 10days after) the fan stopped working. Firstly, it stopped working without being plugged in, then by that evening, it stopped working atall... like the blades will not even move.

I tried everything to Jumia insisting they sold me a defective fan and they should the vendor and all... well all their customer agents insisted I had ed the 7days return policy.

Well, it gets worse, the fan had a warranty in the pack, so I am like but I have a warranty, LOL... Jumia told me that my warranty is not for Nigeria use. One customer agent actually told me he has somewhere in computer village, he can refer me to.... WAWU!

I considered suing them and even reported them to FCC, but oh well nothing works in Nigeria. After some mental exhaustion, I tell myself why not just try repairing it...and so I take it to a fan repairer and he says I need a new battery and a board or something, everything cost N10,000.

Nairalanders, at the end of the day, the fan repair guy literally had to change everything the fan came with... from board and battery, we went to other things... I honestly can't their names.

Ladies and gentlemen, the fan is still not working. So, I succeeded in wasting N33,000.

Why am I writing this story? Jumia Nigeria is a fraud... I go back to my order request and I see that the particular fan has 3 comments saying it works well bla bla bla... then I look at the names of those making those comments and see "happy buyer" LOL... then it occurs to me this was a fraud from the beginning.

If you have something important to buy, please don't buy it on Jumia or for me right now, any of this online shops... spend your hard earned money somewhere else that you can actually get value for it.

I forget to.mention the name of the vendor is #Narro way electronics# RUN!!!

I started the process by 8am and finished by 6:10 pm.

The worry I have is that after 15k spent to repair a 52k fan that is only two months old, that there is no guarantee that this won't happen again. That's why I don't want to repair it.

I still have the box and packaging, the cords, the remote, and the fan is still in very good physical condition. Just two months old. I was really hoping not to sell for lower than 30k. Can we adjust the price to that?

The repair is: you're getting a new board and a new battery. So it should not have issues. But if you insist on selling,I have 25k to give because I will have to change the battery and the board.

Also,I would have advise that you changed the Battery. But one would need to confirm if the fan is charging the battery or not. It's possible that it could just be that the battery bad,and there's nothing wrong with the fan. If you have another good battery around,you could install that one in and observe the performance. But I suspect that the battery could be the issue.

I bought an Andrakk mist fan (ADK2316MF) two months ago. I charged it for 10 hours before using it for the first time, as I was told, and when there's no light, I switch it down to speed 1.
It used to last throughout the night on battery, but now it doesn't last up to two hours!

I was told it is either the charging or the battery, but I honestly don't feel confident about buying new parts if it will give up again in another two months.

I wanted to know if you'd be interested in buying this one for parts or to repair and sell. I am willing to negotiate.

I will replace the following parts:
Control board=4000
Battery=9000
Service charge=2000
Total=15000
