Hi everyone, I'm planning to study a 1-year diploma course at the University of Regina in Saskatchewan, Canada. I want to ensure I fully understand all the expenses I need to include in my Proof of Funds for the student visa application. Aside from tuition fees, what other costs should I for? I'm looking for a breakdown that might include: - Flight and travel costs - Living expenses (rent, utilities, etc.) - Food and groceries - Textbooks and school supplies - Any other hidden or unexpected costs I should prepare for Based on my research, the total estimated cost ranges between CAD $42,813.85 and $44,813.85 for the year. Does this align with current experiences, or are there additional expenses I should consider? Please, if you've gone through this process or have accurate information, I'd really appreciate a full breakdown of the typical or expected costs for international students in Saskatchewan. Thanks a lot in advance! |

Good afternoon nairalanders, please I have a problem I need help with. I tried making payments for my sevis fee through first bank transfer from my zenith . I got debited but the payment wasn't confirmed on the First bank website and I didn't get the receipt and deposit reference number even after four hours without refreshing the page. Now I called the bank and they said the transfer was successful on their side but I couldn't get the receipt still. I've tried reaching out to first bank but they haven't replied my emails, so I want to know if I should put a complaint with the us embassy or just go to First bank on Monday and make a complaint. |

Good evening gurus, please I'm in a situation and I need your advice. Last year I got itted to study in UR but got my visa application denied. I finished my application at least 4 months before the PAL was to expire. But, the denial happened well after my PAL had expired, so I couldn't reapply. I called the school to explain my situation and they said they wouldn't be able to issue me a new PAL from the institution ever again. That deferring or starting the ission process again won't be advisable. So my question is do I need to go to another institution in another province to get a new PAL or I can just find another institution in that province? |
