Good afternoon, grateful if anyone with previous experience can break the FCMB dividend reinvestment program down in simper . Thank you.

"If you proceed with the dividend reinvestment program and use the principal amount to purchase FCMB Group Plc. shares when they are listed later this year, your principal will accrue a total interest rate of 25%.

For clarity on the interest computation on your deposit, please note the following:

Deposit Interest: You will receive a fixed interest rate of 10% from the start date of your investment until the liquidation date
With Shares: You will receive an additional interest of 15% on your deposit from the start date until the liquidation date if you opt to invest in FCMB Group Plc. shares when the offer is opened. Thus, you will earn a total of 25% on your deposit when converted to FCMB Group Plc. shares.
All interest payments are subject to withholding tax or other taxes as prescribed by the laws of the country.

Please note that the additional interest of 15% will only be paid if and when the principal amount is used to purchase the FCMB Group shares."

My question: Will BDCs do a transfer to my DOM if I wanted to convert naira to fx? Won't they need some form of documentation to ensure they are in line with CBN's policy?

A little bird told me there may be a primary Euro-bond auction within Q1, 2021 wink

Thanks for the heads up. How we begin to position?

I learnt that the minimum amount to bid is $200,000 at the primary auction. How true is this?

If true, how can interested investors with lower than $200,000 take advantage?

How does the euro bond auction works? What would be required of a would-be investor?

Thanks in advance for your knowledge sharing.

Can you educate me on the various streams of income you have? It is advisable to have a minimum of 4 streams of income.

How can we make money while sleeping?

I suppose we first have to go through the grind before unwinding. We have to make money first (seed), invest and nurture it (plant and nurture) before we can enjoy the harvest.

am also aspiring to become a billionaire but at 4 percent it might not happen .....i also invest in fixed income at 11.3 ...my fixed income is my security...i dont take money out of it ......this my buffer against poverty and lack .....i have also stop expanding my fleets only replacement cos of stress ...but am learning stocks and i will use interest from sukkus to buy teir 1 banks ...example if i make 5m from sukku yearly i can use 1m to trade bank stocks ,dangote, mtn and the likes then 2m for buy land for reselling etc...

This is what i call striking a fine balance in the scheme of life. Health and Wealth together. Like they say, health is wealth.

am touched but always scared of delving into ventures that will erase the numbers. I enjoy the volumes but you just stated the facts I like avoiding. my goal is to become a naira billionaire, the value of that billion irrespective. i will you in mainstream biz when I retire and have my billion in the net. thanks for the education.

After all, how much can we spend. Enough for the day is the evil thereof. Las las, we go leave the rest of our wealth for our children noni. Who knows if they will be wise or foolish?

Wealth is not just financial, it is all encoming and health (Physically and Mentally) is big component of that.

This afternoon

It was not an automatic letter. I sent an email to a fund manager in Lotus capital privately and he confirmed that I was successful.

I can confirm I had the same experience/ from Lotus after sending an enquiring about my bid.
Let’s put our mind at rest. Thanks for sharing Unite4real

I just learnt the settlement date for the Sukuk bond has been postponed as the bond was oversubscribed by multiples of the proposed size. New settlement date not yet known

Who else has any information on this.

Got the same vibes from a market report from Comercio Partners Limited.

I have not seen any official comms from DMO.

Fellow investors, I just played around with some calculations and I was shocked by the simplicity and result.

Assuming I am a civil servant and decide to commit to save 10k (ten thousand naira only) every month, at the end of the year I will have 120k (one twenty thousand naira) only. Assuming I decide to invest that money on a 10% investment per annum without stopping the 10k per month savings, that at the 35th year, around the time I am retiring I will be worth around 30 million?

With that kind of money, what is your business whether government or pension funds paid your gratuity or not. Just 10k a month o, not 20k not 100k not 1 million, just 10k, it is just crazy.

See attached sheet for details

I find the values difficult to believe, can someone else also do the calculation and confirm I did not make a mistake.

The power of compounding and patience. It's mind blowing.
I verified this using an online tool.

Thanks for this.

Hope u were able to redeem in due time

It ended in praise. So on Monday, June 1st, I put more pressure and was credited around 4pm.
I suspect they wanted to close their May balances healthy, though they claimed they had issues ing my signature.

But I find that strange and unbelievable, because I used the same electronically signed PDF I had used in the past many times successfully.
Tops, I get credited in 2 days. Whenever I want to redeem, I just edit the amount and date.

Anyway, that's in the past now and I am porting over to United Capital. Stanbic's rates are ridiculously low anyway.

Then it was another issue at the bank on Tuesday (the last day of SUKUK offer). That's a story for another day.

All in all, I submitted before the offer closed and will see how the allotment goes next week. Thanks for checking.

Why paper redemption. U would have been doing online on daily basis to accumulate the amount since last week

Daily online redemption from last week Thursday would still not achieve the target amount and will also be impacted by the holidays. The best option was the paper redemption. We will see.

You need to keep bombarding them with mails and screenshots grin

Thanks, i have been doing that oooo. I hope they come through sha. To clarify, it was a paper redemption and they said it is normally processed within 5 business days. I guess the public holidays this week contributed to the delay as well. But it has never taken this long since i have been with them. I will send another mail now. Monday is my last day to have a chance.

Stanbic IBTC mutual fund wan spoil show for me for this SUKUK. Trying to redeem my funds since last week Thursday and nothing up until now. I am sooooooo disappointed in their service this time. It has been great before now though. Are they trying to intentionally delay this so i miss out? Hmmmm. Anyone with escalation details? Maybe a senior staff? The customer care staff and my officer have not been too helpful so far. I just need my money to meet the deadline.

This is my first time buying SUKUK but i am sure they will notify us by mail or sms. The fgn sukuk gurus can still enlight us on this.

Yes, you are right, you will get an allotment advice if successful. What happens if not successful? Never experienced that anyway. I guess you will be notified still and refunded.
