Shameless

I have noticed so far that you have been a subject of undeserving harassment and intimidation from some immature guys just because your gender was known to them.

In a public information domain like this, it's very wise to keep hidden everything that would reveal your true identity please. Above all you are very matured in dealing with harassment and intimidation.

sorry if application pending get invited for training how would they be paid when their application is still pending and they haven't imputed their details?

Inputing details on the website doesn't automatically paid, participants must satisfied the training requirements (daily attendances, verifications, tests, quizzes, exams and all personal details that includes numbers) would be obtained at the training centers before being paid.

Like I said in the previous post, it is possible for applicants to received invitation emails or the training without being approved on the websites. However, those that are approved have being processed and would all received invitations emails.

Application status pending or approved, screened or unscreened, almost everyone that applied would be invited for LGA level training (all functionaries: enumerators, supervisors, coordinators and so on would received the same level of training and practicum). The tasks are much, more people are needed.

Secondly, the position you applied for is your desirable position, however, your position as a census functionary would be determined after the training and quality assessment.

Nigeria with emergency stuff. Email came in less than 24 hours of the commencement. Not everyone would definitely be in Lagos at that particular time. We just have to booked flight to meet up with schedule. We believe it really worth it the price!

Over the past years, Nigerian government has been making blind decisions. We called it blind decisions because you cannot plan or direct resources or make feasible decisions without data. Data is the backbone of planning, directing resources and making informed decisions. Believe me, this digitalize and technological enable census is the best thing that would happen in Nigeria since the past decades. Unlike previous census data were based on only demographic information, this era allows Census Data to be highly effective with spatial data (Digitally and Geographically enabled) and non spatial data (Complete information needed to adequately understand every single body in the country) to be digitally collated, visualized, stored, managed and analyzed.

A population census process of counting number of people, and collecting, compiling, evaluating, analyzing as well as disseminating information about their demographic, social and economic characteristics.

Census data are the foundation for a wide range of analyses required to improve the standard of living of people in the country. Census data are primary sources of information needed for sustainable development and planning.

The recruitment process is on, and it is being done gradually, so patience! I wish every applicants success during the recruitment stage, and please do your assignment diligently when you're considered, not for anything but for the future of the country. Not for anything, not for the remuneration, just for the future of the country.

Update

I am not part of the recruitment any more because we have envisaged it outcomes and the processes are bad for us. But where are all the certificates ed at the initial stage? Personally I scanned and ed 10 original certificates. If this your update is correct which I think it is not... Then there is a big problem more than before!

Though Testmi.ng site has expired at October, 2022. The grace of two months has also been exhausted unless they renewed it then you guys can keep up with the Internet traffic for them! But all documents are still accessible by testmi and nerc in their Microsoft azure cloud computing portal Best of luck in Nigeria!

Interesting! Like the optimist I am, I would lubricate my ts with positive thoughts and keep moving forward.
It is well.

I am also very optimistic, but mine goes with ion and interest. Along the line, my moral values and their moral values do not match. This is a straight breaking up in any relationship! What are we moving again and Where are we moving it to when things does not match! As easy as the second test, if more than 70 people scored over 90 percent in a applied role, so third test will be considered or just rolling ballots to pick one or two from 70 people? Maybe that would take them another 2 months to decide! Decisions are made every two months of the last stage. We were cleared off the dubious stage is the final list. List are just approved without quality control checks on names for fraud and manipulation (unavoidably, names are individually contested, reshuffled, removed and replaced). The names that appear on the approved final list are the ones who are duly recruited.

What type of man starts something and does not finish it?

I reside in Abuja, it is 20 kilometers drive from my residence to NERC office. I was following the recruitment process from the start.

What was supposed to be done was interview not the second stage test. Lek4sure was well right in his information after the test. Initially, it was to be a single test istered online or cbt center followed by interview.

Unfortunately, the stakeholders involved wanted to make money. I personally later found out that they were more interested in making money than the recruitment. They designed and created this nuisance. I don't participate in unnecessary nuisance created by men for men's benefits. Sadly we found out that they were hidden stuff, and that is enough for us never to complete what we started. I wish those currently involved in the process the best of luck God will offer to them in Nigerian government affairs. What is going in and out of Nigeria and how Nigeria is being run and operate, it is enough for me to decide to surrender the country to them! I personally surrender Nigeria affairs to the elite as I had earlier did! God is sufficient for us outside Nigerian government elite affairs! Believe it, it would work for us! Nigeria has been compromised, Nigeria is not a country, it is a caucus

I didn't write the aptitude test today as I wasn't shortlisted. I have no connection that I'm interested in and I hate to do things by connection. I detest Bottom Power. I don't practise VOODOO either. I've applied for several federal jobs viz INEC, immigration, NTA, NINLAN, FUNAI, IC, etc in the past several years without success. This country is running a socialist economy that feeds mad cows and their calves. When the day of reckoning comes and I'm a witness, I'll laugh at the madness that has killed us all. The problem is that Nigeria rests in the hands of people who don't do well, who make everyone a victim of their ineptitude and won't mend their ways. How then can she get any better? Does IPPIS check fraud? How?

I found out that we are in a world well lies prevail, sell and succeed. Glory be to God Almighty for the success He has given to me so far home and abroad. I had despised government and their ways of life, all through my career, I never get near their Activities. However, people keep telling me, if we continue to shy away from the responsibilities of government, who will fixed things? Shall we continue to leave things for this people, that drew my attention and interest to applied for this job because I know how my knowledge, experience and network could add a quota. I was shortlisted, and never participated further as I can't moved out to write this type of silly test after clarifying that Nigeria predicaments are irreversible and irreparable until the day of resurrection. Was this the industry based test for professionals? Smiles! All they think and designed for is how to enriched their pockets, they don't really care about who get the job or not!

I had been to 2 interviews at the FCT on different occasions and never got selected.
Major reason I posited that I will never attend any physical interview for any of the government jobs again!

I can afford the physical interview, it is best time to know each others, but I can't afford the cbt test at a center if not virtual cbt. Someone else can have the NERC job.

My personal experience on first ever government job application experience was awful Manager-Research Analytics role with over 10 years of experience span across major project in the electricity power sector, with track record of conducted Continuing Professional Development (D) points workshops at national and international conferences with over 300 audiences from 30 countries represented- couple with national and international awards and achievements. Since applied June, (6 months ago) was expecting straight interview with the senior management, what we received is another CBT at a jamb center after 6 months of application. Terrible!

Hey guys

The next step for the recruitment will be concluded this year. I think I have shared this info before... it's really not hearsay.

Also, the National Assembly etc that people are insinuating has completed its job before the recruitment is d. They only appropriate the budget and okay the numbers.

Nothing concerns FEC in an autonomous agency's recruitment

FCC will be involved and their approval is sacrosanct in the final shortlists leading to APL to be sure positions are spread enough where necessary. Usually some delays over shortlisting arise from waiting on the FCC

Overall no cause for alarm...

At this current stage of the recruitment, It is only reasonable to give information without timeline except when you be monitoring and supervising the timeline. Perhaps timeline is what capture and interest people. However, you would soon become out of favour by them if the next step does not end this year Though you don't owe anybody even if your prediction ed or failed! What's the next step that would end this year? Test, Interview, APL??
Olowozain: 2:12am On Nov 23, 2022
Lek4sure said about 30 days ago that interview emails would dropped by November ending- that's enough to keep you guys away from this thread until November end rather than looming around reading other people's comments in frustrations and constituting nuisance without contributing to the thread. I don't think this thread was strictly created for only lek4sure's comments if that is what you guys wrongfully believed. Please visit this thread by December if you guys are frustrated by other people's comments, his latest comment is not yet expired please!

Why bother yourself on something that is not guaranteed for you? What will you do if at all NERC did not recruit? Will you be waiting for them to recruit your whole life? My brother go out of your way find something better for your life than worrying yourself about something that is not guaranteed. You might make a fortune better if you think than just keep waiting to be a government slave. Be an employer not an employee.

Everything in life is not about fortune! Everybody thinks of fortune first (politicians, government officials, and individuals). This thought is exactly what led us to where we are today! What about positive impact, achievement and fulfillment? The guy profile speak well of him, he may have some better strategic skills and knowledge that we all Nigerians may benefit from him! We should be glad that he shows some interest, he deserves some chances to compete with other skillful and talented human capital resource as him, don't let us chastised him please! If you have any opportunities to be committed to doing things right in this country, please let us do it for sake of the next generation! If we are not open in giving all talents in the country some chances to compete and appoint the best amongst them and we continue with the barbaric system of politicising every appointments in the country, how do we find the problem solvers in Nigeria NERC or no NERC, We have already survived and still surviving the bad system, but don't let us continue with the bad system just for the sake of next generations please

. My brother pls who are those qualify for the job and also who are those not qualify for the job?

I quote from the law of the land (Nigeria) please, "Any applicant who does any act for the purposes of influencing the Commission, whether directly or indirectly will be disqualified from consideration for any post in the Federal Civil Service. It will be presumed that an applicant who indulges in canvassing does so because he/she lacks the prescribed qualifications and experience or the application lacks merit" I hope this answered your question. But sadly those making the law (the lawmakers/the stakeholders) do not preserved the law, they are the law breakers. Some have chastised me here but I don't care! However, we met in a bad legacy, bad system, bad hereditary, bad way of life; we must not shy away from saying the truth!

those that we get the job through prominent are they not directly from God Also? My Brother there is no success unless God almighty grant it

Yes, you are absolutely correct! God is in charge of everything in the universe (unjust and just). But God did not create or chose this path for us, we Nigerians/Humans created and adopted the system of unjust by ourselves. One thing is cleared to us is that God communications are cleared crystal to everyone! We have freewill to do whatever we want for just a limited time and be able for every of our actions. We understood that the system we find ourselves is unjust. It's an advantages to some while disadvantage to some. (Some feel happy with it, some feel cheated with it), but we don't need to promote unjust system even as we have learnt to live with it! This bad path/legacy we find ourselves in the country is very, very bad and it becomes hereditary. We are in a society where unjust automatically becomes the normal way of life. Homosexuality is viewed as bad way of life in Nigeria even by her constitution and also God despised it. Corruptions, unjust and embezzlement has become the norms and values in every corners of Nigeria, more so tamed as God blessings and opportunities. Who is deceiving who?? What's the difference between an homosexual, a corrupter, embezzler and unjust person?? Homosexual should be crucified and punished by God while the corrupter, embezzler and unjust person are God's favours and blessings! Human beings thought smarter than their creator

For those over reliance on prominent people. Let worked out your chances, at the end your chance may be zero. We have people who would get jobs directly from God Almighty, we have over 700 honourables and senators in the country, we have over 30 ministers in Nigeria, we have over 30 permanent secretaries in Nigeria. We have over 30 governors in the country, we have over 20 Directors General in the country. We have over 15 commissioners in the Federal Civil Service Commission, we have 5 commissioners In NERC, to mentioned few for opening vacancies of 100-140. Just put that in your brain

Movement/migration to a secured cloud database- For data/information accessibility among testmi, nerc and any other parties/individuals involved in the recruitment and all authorised/given a secured access! In this way, entity A, a primary data holder, Entity B, Entity C, Entity D and so on... all would have access, and work with the data independently as long as secured access is provided!

After two months, still on the reviewing and shortlisting, that's bad energy and timing for two months. When this is finished, what next to be done will be agreed, planned and scheduled by the stakeholders- (many stakeholders involvement) will affect the timing and bring bad energy. To get an exact or tentative date at this stage of the recruitment for what to happened next, it is difficult! The confusion among them is what is bringing confusion here on the platform (next step will be interview, next step will be another exam, next step will be the released of results, next step is some people are already having interview). Previous stages were quickly carried out by testmi, but decisions are beyond testmi! However, not until they're done with the reviewing and shortlisting before we can get on hold of what the stakeholders has approved and concluded. NERC or Testmi ordinary staff (those not part of the decision makers) do not have a clue on what next and exact date!

@Ustec, we get happiness in life by never comparing ourselves with anyone, it breed hatred and jealous amongst humans and bring unrest to our hearts. Nobody is blocking anyone in life, when you see people slightly ahead in life, they might have walked through challenges and obstacles that you would even feel pathetic for them. focus on yourself/your life/ what your best will delivered for you- whatever the result of such gives you, take it and keep moving. Some might still get this NERC jobs, and leave it later on for another better opportunities. In life, we keep moving morally and reasonably until we entered our graves! that many people's movements did not even provide the opportunity for them to applied! You applied because your movement in life so far provides the qualifications and requirements for you Keep moving and don't bother to worry about other people's movements. We all must keep moving until the end of time! We get nothing to worry about in life, it is all about time!

Nobody is saying they should not conduct interviews but Let them at least send rejection mails to those that didn't make it to the interview instead of raising unnecessary hope.

Nigeria my country.

It is well

This would have been a very nice thing! Unfortunately, public sector vacancies in Nigeria aren't yet doing that! It's a platform like the Nairaland that's helping applicants to understand if vacancies are still open or not. Smiles! When vacancies are d, there should be a note on aptitude tests, interviews and APL timelines stated. But many organizations in Nigeria especially public sector are not productive to that extent. I once said that, they mostly do things when they have time to do it! They don't used calenders to keep track of their tasks, they rarely have tasks scheduled plan. Testmi as a proud IT consulting firm for recruitment management purposes doesn't have a feature/just a click on their recruitment workflow platform to inform applicants that they are not moving forward on every stage of the process! May God help us in Nigeria!

Some rumours are constructed by the initial spreader in order to deliberately catch fun out of people, some are designed out of the spreader's assumptions and some are generated by the spreader from a source to have been believed to be authentic. Any action carried out by NERC must have effect on some people on this platform and they would testify to the action Many of us know that government officials in Nigeria are not oriented towards working on time line, they rarely have management scheduled on task completion. When dealing with government officials in Nigeria, we have to be extra ordinary patient as we continuing with our normal daily routine. Now that the next stage is no longer with Testmi timeline/schedule, meeting with the the NERC hiring managers and management team for the next show, getting an exact timeline for the show/meeting depends on those people!

I feel attacked by this comment. I am working with an FG agency that runs a Social Security Scheme. I am a Certified Electrical Engineer and have been practicing before the Government Job. I worked hard to get the practical knowledge not from classroom, ask what it takes to get a COREN certification; okay? I got that too… all of a sudden i was given a job I didn’t apply for. I definitely appreciate it but I DON’T FEEL PRODUCTIVE. Since as a student, my dream has been to work with NERC. I have followed every development, every news, every publication, every achievement and all of a sudden, a perfect vacancy surfaces that has my exact academic qualification and work experience as requirement, everyone who knows me well shared this advert with me and someone is here saying i am blocking another person? SHOULD ANYONE FEEL MORE DESERVING AND ENTITLED THAN ME?

Work to some of us; is not about survival. If it was for the pay i would stay where i am because no job can be as stress free as my current job.
This is about VALUE ADDITION!

Interesting one! I pray that your dream comes true! I am impressed by your dream because it is rare to find someone more attached to a particular organisation, but I am more fascinated by why you dreamed of working for a particular organisation! You are a talented electrical and electronic engineer but how your technical experienced, knowledge, skills, vision and personality are translated to NERC goals and objectives really matter to everyone! Best of luck!

In a country where the employment rate is very low,
Recruiting experience applicants that are currently working is a bad idea.

Would you give your broken car to a newly recruit apprentice mechanic to fixed because the specialised experienced mechanic of your car brand is having lots of cars on queue to repair or attend to?

Do you know how many experienced hires/talents that have left the country due to poor or lack of engagement?

In a country afflicted with the disease of high unemployment as we all know, are we supposed to be seeing foreign experts taking on jobs that Nigerians could do well and better?

How do we plan to retain, develop and nurture our indigenous talents? A country development is ties to the capability of its manpower! We need to start utilising our own talents to bridge the gap of talent draining.

There should many graduate trainee projects in the country in which a better government should fund and every organisations in Nigeria. However, for now everything is working awkwardly, Most of the graduate trainee projects are not working well, after some while, many of the talents will ended up abroad (talent draining).

I am not a Human Resource professional but I have attended many of their programs towards tackling this issue in Africa. Africa Human Resource professionals are all on the fight to ensure that African talents are developed, nurtured, retained and utilised judiciously to put an end to the influx of foreign experts and talent draining!

We hope that government will realised that over 200,000 of graduates will produced annually need to be engaged through Graduate Positions in various sectors/organisations in which I expected sensible government to and fund the program instead of embezzlement and corruptions!
