dougivilla: What is all this hue and cry all about? What's wrong with the Police, Army, DSS, EFCC, IC etc arresting anyone for a crime suspected to have been committed? Abi since the arrest wasn't made by EFCC or IC the judges are innocent of the accusations? It's appalling the basis for criticisms in this country. There are better issues to criticise! |

Hmm, so you guys condemning the army over this development expected the govt to be clapping for the secession protesters? Or are they now sympathising with kidnappers, militant herdsmen and other criminal elements mentioned there? Your hatred for your country will consume you. #truth. |

Whatever may be your views about this news I think it's pertinent we understand that it didn't emanate from 'EFCC News paper' or 'Buhari Magazine', the media is saddled with the responsibility of providing news and their job is what they're doing as can be seen. I therefore wonder why some Nigerians kick and kick accusing govt agencies of 'media trial' even when due to FOI, the agencies have no choice but to cooperate with the media and release such information. Besides, it's your right to know. SMH 1 Like |

Shayetet13:I think it's better to be on that "Russian end" if we can clear up this Boko Haram mess as well as ND militants etc. Safety first. We can't enjoy the so called diplomatic ties with "America and co" if we're all dead |

Zetra:I couldn't agree more but ppl don't want to associate themselves with politicians who have no money to spray around (stomach infrastructure). Buhari is finding things this difficult probably because he was left with no other choice but to accept heavily corrupt former PDP mafias into his fold in order to win elections, since Nigerians didn't want a poor man or party to come before them for their votes. How then can we get these tribalistic, religious and social class assassins to accept genuine technocrats who may not be wealthy enough or may be from an unwanted tribe or religion. I guess we get what we deserve all the time! 1 Like |

All this una big big hatters grammar you guys have been spewing here sef. Sometimes I wonder how I found myself in a country where it's supposed citizens would rather see it fall. Una well done oooo! Every country has its history that may even be quite similar to that of Nigeria ;migration of ethnic groups into the present settlement, amalgamation etc yet we don't hear all these. It really is unfortunate the crop of youths we now have in this country. When youths of other countries are bringing about new innovations like Mark Zuckerberg, changing their lives and positively affecting others, some of you are busy wasting a 'generation' of time agitating for what your elders know will never be. My bothers is that you guys are wasting your time. And the country's resources, as you'll always be saved against your misguided actions. Please hate Buhari all you can but stop tarnishing the image of this country. Make we hear word ojare! |

It's obvious they are trying to cover their cruel and evil looting tracks and some of us here see nothing wrong with this. When it comes to such nonsense that would benefit only their pockets they'll be quick to do it with all the unity that cannot be imagined in this country, but if it were on a bill that would positively affect us they'll stall and speak big grammar. The child marriage issue at the NASS (yerima) comes to mind 1 Like |

gidgiddy: Your forefathers never complained during the groundnut pyramids when agriculture was the main stay of 'Nigeria 's economy'. Well, enjoy the bombings since that's the best way you feel you should go, but Nigeria will surely remain Nigeria with or without these challenges. Every country has a challenge or another |

NextGovernor: Lol I'll tell you what's more corrupt; the judge who fell for the antiques of the so called 80 SANs. If he had done his part without compromise then we wouldn't be talking about corrupt judges or certificate issues here now. How I see it is that PMB is trying to make sure that he fixes every sector he can before leaving so that anyone who's coming after him will have to do it the right way and we'll all be better for it. You might think it's one sided corruption fight but you should take solace in the fact that this precedence he's laying will haunt any 'corrupt' member of this party and govt in future when he's out of office. |

gidgiddy: But now this is Nigeria! You can only tell tales of history but here we are in reality, Nigeria! And as I said earlier, You guys have been fooled by wicked criminal and greedy elements in your (Niger-Delta) region. They have access to whatever accrues to the region but makes sure nothing gets to the common masses there knowing quite well that Nigerians including Niger Deltans will always 'their own' kit and kin on the altar of tribalism and religious sentiments thereby pushing the blame to others. The moment you change your perception and reason differently about this you will see the need to begin your revolution with your own immediate leaders and every other thing will begin to fall in line. |

Simply put : You guys have been fooled by wicked criminal and greedy elements in your (Niger-Delta) region. The government on the other hand did not also help matters. I would break barriers and protocols and deal directly with the people in that region instead of continuing with criminals who will continue to embezzle the incentives given for the benefit of the region rendering innocent people poorer and turning them against me. Ie if I were to be in power. Between : please give democracy a chance! The military came and didn't help, but ever since democracy returned in 1999 the bombings started, as if to say 'we don't want democracy' we prefer military regime when they use force without looking back' Be wiser my brothers |

Two things :1) it's either you're for or against the unity in diversity of this country. 2). It's either you're for or against the fight against corruption in this country. You shouldn't expect the same modus operandi every other government had employed in the past yet without positive results. I and I think people like me voted in Buhari for bold actions like this. Obviously he's not even thinking of the next presidential election nor does he care if his life is at stake. Except you are or sympathise with ipob or are pro biafra or the division of this country, you shouldn't but see the wrong in what this guy does on his blog. If kanu is arrested why not this guy? We should preach peace and togetherness rather than defection and blood bath. 3 Likes |

kcnwaigbo:. I disagree with you here ; DSS says the judges have got monies more than judges should, if the judges think they should have such monies then they should prove it. Besides, the DSS claim to have overwhelming evidences and petitions against the judges, so they should quietly go and at least hear and see those evidences and deny or defend themselves if they feel they are being lied against instead of hiding under NJC to shy away from the Justice they should be upholding.
