I bought a RAV4 2010 recently with transmission issue. On a fresh start in the morning, the gear will shift from 1 to 2 but disengages on 3rd shift. I will manage to keep it moving on second shift with the Rev raised to 3. By the time I move about 3km and the engine seems warm, it will shift into 3 and the rest but after decelerating and trying to accelerate, it will shift normally after a rev and the shifting is not smooth.
I have changed the gear oil and dropped the pan twice but it still won't work perfect. I noticed the transmission has been worked on before as I could see the glue used to seal it.
Please advise if I should repair the transmission or buy another although I do not have the money to buy yet.

When accelerating, it drags and revs up alot before changing gear. I have had a mechanic check transmission fluid quality and guage which was reported to be fine.
One even mentioned having to change a solenoid and bla bla bla.
What is your advice?

You fit check your Plugs and clean the nozzles to the engine block

You are not alone in this. The mail I got from WES was on the 17th of November last year. I have gotten in touch with Unilag twice this year. They said they are yet to receive both e-mail and post. The person I spoke to said that I am not the only one with the same issue. He also claimed WES usually lie about sending the request. Wondering why they will do that if true.
I called WES customer service last weeke and the person said it has been sent and it will be sent again.I complained to them via their Us. They said my inquiry has been forwarded to the appropriate department for review. I don't even know what else to do other than to wait and hope it gets sent soon.

Did you get to the registrar's office to confirm? I was there but was told there is no verification mail

My brother spoke to someone in unilag about his and he was told that unilag or those in record dont bother to search for the email sent by Wes instead they wait for the hardcopy to arrive then they reply the verification request. Except you know someone that can fast track it for you. After sending verification,Wes requested for another verification and my brother called unilag. He was told that he's not the only one having such issue and they dont know why WES is asking for second verification. My brother called WES and was told that there's a particular person or connect they have in unilag that must reply the verification mail,that they dont accept it from any other person.
My brother called unilag and told them what WES said So unilag said they would do a meeting today and tell WES * whatever they want tell WES sha* however, they intend to reply all the verification mail from WES from Monday.

I hope this helps but please still go to unilag for more update or someone to help.

Good people in the house please I need your advice. I received a mail from WES on 29th Nov 2019 that a verification mail was sent to Unilag. Till now, the school is yet to respond and when I visited the school, i was told that the mail has not been received.
I ed WES and it was confirmed again that the verification mail was sent last year.
Please should I do? Although I was told another mail will be sent after 7weeks but what is the guaranty that the school will get it again.

You may just address the letter to the branch manager asking to invest in T-bills for you in so & so day primary or secondary auction, for so & so number of days, at the bank's best rate, from number so and so, your name, signature & date. You are good to go
