The port tracker is unreliable. Go back to Festac port Office to collect your port. You captured since 5th May 2023! It must have been produced.

Thank you for this response.. this comment actually made me go to their office today cos I've been tracking it online.

God bless!

Good morning

I intend going to Festac office today to check if my port is out, I've been tracking it online and I keep getting "Production is in progress" so I want to go there today and check cos I learnt that the online tracker is not reliable.. I captured on 5th May 2023 which is exactly 8 months now.

My question is, does anyone have any idea if port collection is done everyday as in Monday to Friday. I wouldn't want to go there now and they tell me "Mondays is not for port collection" Lol
This is just to avoid waste of time and transport fare.

Festac office specifically, any idea please?

And yes! My port is out, issued on Oct 11 2023.

I just collected it and it's strictly DIY.
So when I got there and gave them my slip, the officer wrote PNA (port Not Activated) on my slip and asked me to go meet a particular lady at the issuance department... So she helped me bring out my port, I ed it and that's it.
So I gave the kind lady 1k for lunch just to show gratitude ☺️

In all, it didn't take up to 40mins..

On my way home now 😁 Thanks guys! 🤗

which hospital did u use? And hope they don't charge much....

I used FOREMOST BASE HOSPITAL at Leventis bus stop, Coca-cola Area Ibadan.

My work HMO covered the hospital bill so I have no idea how much they charge people that doesn't have HMO✌️

Hey sis!
I feel your pains, confusion and frustration.
All will be well IJN. ... Sending hugs!
I had fibroids (discovered Jan 2017, had myomectomy Sep 2020), and the same thing your doctors told you was what I was told by many doctors and lab scientists each time I go check on the fibroids.
What can I say!

It's a two way thingy.....!
I have a friend whose fibroids sizes' description meet yours, but as God would have it, she conceived two weeks to her wedding day. (Hubby arrived from UK for wedding prep, they copulated, & unknowingly to them, pregnancy don enter) Shortly after wedding, she was feeling down, she tested, & boom BFP.! Twas like a miracle to us.

The one on the other hand is my case, i followed doctors ' advice, left the tumors, got married, no show, waited for more than a year before I later made up my mind on surgery!
10weeks after surgery, God did it, I conceived!
Meanwhile, I could only leave it that long because I wasn't symptomatic, just menstrual cramps!
But in ur case, you are,.
So, If it's health threatening, please make up your mind on surgery, all you need do is make your findings, get a V. GOOD HOSPITAL WITH GOOD HANDS!
Walk in for surgery... Before u know it, ur healed & fine.... & with your Faith unshaken, you will be a mother!

Sis ! Please, am not trying to confuse you here, BUT, If it's not life threatening, please pray and focus on getting a partner, try fess, then........
Hope you get?
God help you!

Thank you dear.
I finally did my Fibroid surgery on Wednesday 13th December... I'm almost 2 weeks post Op.. And yes! I made sure I went to a hospital with GOOD HANDS

I'm still recovering 😊 and I thank God it was successful

Hey!
I sometime learnt ileraEko package covers for major surgeries like myomectomy
Please, find out to know if it does.
If it actually do, I have a slot you could use.
I don't know much about hospitals around Festac.
But I have so much confidence in Subol (at Idimu) and Beehess(at Egbeda).
Meanwhile, closeness to residence is another factor you should consider because of post surgery check ups.

The Lord lead you aright sis.

Thank you dear.

Thank you @Howyeh for this honest reply. I appreciate it.

I am finding it difficult in making up my mind on the hospital to use. I need A VERY GOOD HOSPITAL WITH GOOD HANDS.
I am in Lagos and stays around Festac. Any clue will be appreciated.

Today is exactly 5 months since I captured at Festac (DIY)

I haven't been there yet to check if my port is ready because the kind of heartbreaking news I hear about Festac (DIY) is alarming.

Has any DIY that captured in May at Festac collected his or her port yet?

5 months no be 5 days ooo.. lol

I captured on 5th of May at Festac DIY

I haven't been there to check if the port is ready.. but with all the news am hearing about Festac (DIY) I will not advise any DIY to use Festac.. Nooooo don't try it.

For me, I decided that once my own clocks 5months on the 5th of Oct, I will make out time and go there to check if the port is ready. I want to give them enough time.

Any idea what month they are producing now at Festac for DIY?

I am not TTC. I am here because I have multiple fibroids and I need advise.

I am 34 years old and not married yet 😢.

In 2020, I noticed that my menstrual🩸 flow has become heavy unlike how it used to be. So in April 2021, I visited a Doctor who conducted a scan and confirmed that I have multiple fibroids.

My Symptoms:

The heavy menstruation causes me to lose so much blood.
I went for FBC (Full Blood count) test last month and the Doctor said that my blood count is 8.2 (low) she gave me a drug that will help me build my blood and a drug to take when am menstruating to help reduce the heavy flow of blood.
I went for another FBC yesterday and the blood count increased a bit to 9.1

Currently, my tummy is big that one thinks that am pregnant and I have resorted to wearing big, flare and free tops and dresses just to avoid questions and suspicion.
The Gynaecologists also confirmed last month that the size of my fibroid is like that of a 5 months old pregnancy 😢 hence the big tummy.

I also have pains during s@x and it's so painful that sometimes I would want to stop halfway even before my guy cums but the strong girl in me will always manage. Though I haven't had s@x for a long time now.

All the while that I've been visiting Doctors and Gynaecologists, they always tell me to leave the fibroid since am not married and not ready to get pregnant yet.. But lately, they are now advising me to remove it.
I even visited a totally different Doctor yesterday and he told me that it doesn't matter if I am married or not, that my health comes first. He also advised me to take a decision on the fibroid 😩

I am so concerned with the fact that am not married yet and the fear of the fibroid growing back if I don't get pregnant after removing it.

As it stands now, I am having abdominal pains which started last week. Urinalysis and Urine culture showed nothing but yet to go for another scan to ascertain the cause of the pain (Though the Doctor assumed that the fibroid could be the cause of the pain).

I have not been pregnant before and I wish to have children someday.

I am only thinking I should hold on a bit and not go for the surgery yet since I am not married yet.

Please my dear mothers and sisters, please what do you all think I should do considering the fact that I not married yet.

You should have been given a confirmation slip (printed) on the day you had your biometric. A confirmation slip contains port applicant's personal details, enrollment ID, application details, collection date, etc. Nigeria Immigration Service Festac Town port Office is notorious for frustrating DIY applicants.

If only I got this information earlier, I wouldn't have used Festac. The frustration and discrimination was glaring the day I went for my capture.

This is not true. I personally saw a fresh applicant using the white file. I can tell you for sure that in NIS Festac, brown file is DIY while the white file is for people that have officers handling their files and maybe for renewal too.

I noticed this in NIS Festac the day I went for capturing.
I pray they attend to DIY files on time.

They told me DIY are not given date except those that went through any officer.I saw so many things there,I was told the brown files are team DIY while the white files are for their own client. If your document is in white file you will capture very fast and be given a date for collection.

This is pure discrimination. Very bad. The system is corrupt. Tueh!

Omo those Festac NIS are bad they gave me slipt without collection date on it,that they will call me whenever the my port is ready.

Exactly what they did to me last week Friday (5th May). The slip they gave me in Festac has no collection date on it.

Your port must be ready. I also captured on the 22nd of December at Festac Office.

My little story... I went there a couple of weeks ago and was told it's not ready. I didn't argue with them at collection. Went straight to the PCO's office and waited till he arrived. He invited me in and asked me when I captured. I told him December. The man almost jumped out of his seat. He ordered them to immediately go and look for my file. Told me to give him two hours and come back and see him.

Alas, they never even touched my file since I captured (online of course). It was just dumped somewhere. He ordered immediate production and within 3hours my port was ready.

Note: Festac Office PCO (PCO Oselowo) is an extremely professional and nice officer. Per excellence I must say. He will treat you like a VIP and his word is his bond. Anyone having issues at Festac Office should go see him directly.

However you must be extremely patient and persistent. The junior officers at his office will try to frustrate you not to see him... They will chase and try to intimidate you. Just do as they say and still stay on their neck. Mill around the stairs to his office around 11am to 12pm ish.. that's when he usually comes around. Or maybe earlier. Once those officers start running about, then know he's about to enter his office. Once he's in his office, he'll invite anyone at his door to come in. He'll attend to you ASAP, just be patient.

Please what is the full meaning of PCO?

Thank you all for the heads-up. I learnt a lot here before going for my capture.

I captured on Friday 5th May 2023 DIY in Festac.
Please if you are DIY kindly make sure that all your documents are ready. Those officer are not smiling at all.
How my own went:
I got there before 7:30am and was there before they started. An officer came to address us (DIY) but people that did through agent already had files, documented and already started capturing.

DIY were asked to go to Servicom to our NIN. After NIN verification, We were asked to go and open file with our documents.

For me I didn't go with my Guarantor's Int'l port data page.. the officer asked me to go and get it or I look for another guarantor. I finally called my Guarantor and he sent the data page to me so I printed it out.
After printing it out I went back again and met a different officer who started attending to me. She rejected my affidavit of age declaration and her reason was that my place of birth on it is Waterslide Hospital Onitsha but on my Application form I wrote just Onitsha as my place of birth so she asked me to go and swear another affidavit of age declaration.

At that point I was already giving up cos there is no court in Festac and I think the closest is in Ikeja. I was tired, how can they reject my affidavit just because of the Hospital name on it.
I started asking people on what to do and I discovered that I can sign Rotary affidavit there in immigration office, so I went to cyber cafe and they typed another affidavit for me. when I got back I went to where they are g the affidavit.. the g is 500
But when I got there to sign it the lady there told me she will not sign it for me because mine is DIY, she said she only sign for people that paid through an agent. Funny enough she is collecting the same 500 from people that paid through an agent not as if theirs is free.

I felt like crying and left there, I didn't know what else to do. going to court is never an option.

I summoned courage and went to one officer, I explained to him that my documents are complete but the only problem was that my affidavit of age declaration has Hospital name on it which is not on my application form. I also told the officer that I have printed another affidavit but the lady who is supposed to sign it refused to attend to me cos am DIY. The officer was like "is that all" I said yes. So the officer gave me a written note to go and give the lady g affidavit. I went back to the lady and gave her the written note, so she collected my affidavit, singed on it, stamped on it and I paid my 500 and left.

I went back to Servicom and opened file successfully, waited for my turn to go for capture. Luckily for me I am part of the last batch for that day.. The gate was locked after we entered the capture room. The officer said they have closed and will not attend to people again after us.

I left there around 4:30pm. Las las it's not by coming early cos I was there before 7:30am
They give priority to those that paid through an agent.

It was really stressful but I thank God that my mission was accomplished.
