There are people that just prefer eating local chicken. I know it sounds odd cos of how skinny they look, but there are people out there that prefer local chicken. If you know surulere well in lagos, at the beginning of Adeniran Ogunsaya street, there is someone that sells local chickens there. This is an area with middle class to high class people...so for that spot to be there it means there is a market for them.

There are people who buy for sacrifice grin This is odd too, but "ibile" chicken (local chicken) is really sort after by some people.

There are also people that eat eggs from local chicken...they believe it is the most nutritious and healthy type of egg, cos the chickens don't eat commercialised feed filled with chemicals.
Health wise, local chickens are the best, their meat taste better also

I got some OPC men in my area to give me the trap they use in catching bush meat, and then set in the path the cat es. Around 11pm I heard the thing snap, and there was a little struggle. When I got out, I saw a few strands of cat hair from the cat's body around the cage. It had escaped cos it wasn't fully in when the trap snapped, and it was able to escape. But after that day, we never saw it again, and it never came close to the trap again.
It's almost impossible to catch cats with traps, their reflexes are faster than traps release time.
You can't poison them either because they'll smell it and know.

The girl quick mature sha.. see her looking like a lady in her 30s'.
The way these gen Zs are growing ehnn. They might even age faster than we that came before them.
They "might" or they're already?

Our time, 25 years old looks like 15 years old of today. Those in their 30s look younger than understand 25 of Gen-Z... And that's alarming.

You're a Nigerian, you know how long it'll take an average Nigeria to make 29k

Seriously you mean the MTN fibre unlimited its a lie? Because I have made up my mind since last year to drop my 5gb box and go for the fibre since it's unlimited and thier network is most stable than other networks . Just that the major road can't be cracked to extend the cable to my house
All unlimited plans are actually limited, once you exhaust the main data plan, they'll cap your network and the speed drops drastically.

The only Network I know offers true unlimited plan is FiberOne... The rest are just lying.

Problem with FiberOne is their coverage is limited to few areas

I’m on the MTN always on 45gb for 6k monthly plan
BUT i don’t know how much it will cost now after the price changes
You're not heavy naw, I use nothing less than 10 daily, so that their 1gb or 1.5gb daily allocation wouldn't last me 30mins

My best pick is MTN 1TB data plan for 360 days at cost of N100,000

This plan doesn't finish till next renewal. I don't know the current price after price changes
They've reduced the data to 360gb at same 100k

FiberOne is still the best. The rest are just bunch useless network glitch providers.
FiberOne is just the best... My issues with them then was their poor response when their went off from your router, it always requires physical examination by their engineers and that will take 3-7 days for their engineers to show up, which is frustrating.

My second issue is their coverage is extremely limited, mostly Lagos Island and some places in Ikeja.
After relocation, their service doesn't cover my new place, still in Lagos. They've been like that for years and they're not even expanding

Gen s has dropped by 50%, the remaining 50%, 40% their purchasing power has dropped from 10ltr to 5...

Car s has dropped with their purchasing power too, yet Nigerian government is telling us we are still consuming 50m liters of fuel per day.

Not all tech jobs in Nigeria is based on recommendation,

All jucy jobs are on recommendation
In short any employment opportunity in Nigeria is based on recommendation.

Even teaching , security nannyjob

Nigeria is not a country to seek employment without proper networking.

But the truth is,

Almost all tech jobs can be automated now with AI,
The speed with which it's application is increasing begs the question will there be jobs in the nearest future?

I WAS emphasis on was a graphic designer and web developer looking for paid gigs online,
Until I ed ChatGPT then realized my skill will become obsolete soon from what chat got could do as at the time,

Today AI is making videos, paintings, websites even cloning and maintenance,

Now who will pay for something that can be done almost free with AI

AI can replace anything, but not graphics design... Can AI design? Yes! Can it replaced it? Hell no.

I'm a designer and I've tried 50s of AI for graphics, the flaws are endless.

The noise about tech got into my head and I quit my 8-5 job. Though the 8-5 job was becoming stressful and toxic, I couldn't cope and had to leave.

I had saved some funds and learned data analytics. Now here is where the issue lies.

I've applied to more than a thousand jobs and I keep getting rejections.

My hope was to get a remote job but I'm not seeing it coming.

Is tech all about noise or it's just saturated?

While learning , we were told a data analyst earns 30k USD annually. I'm just getting tired and frustrated
You don't get tech skill to start looking for work, you get a tech skill to start freelancing, build up a strong portfolio... Na job go dey find you.

When you're "Theorical" first class graduate, that's bound to happen... If they were practical they could have used that knowledge to start something.

Nevertheless, this could be their little beginning, we all have our little beginning if we were not fortunate to be born into fortune.

That zenith strong die. With their poor service, you will be wondering who is banking with them.

I once worked as ant for a company. The policy is the maintenance guys go to owode or alaba market but we pay from office.

All the s I paid into that day 98% are either zenith or Access bank.

I concluded that day that zenith and access bank is highly favoured by Igbos markets guys.
Those 2 bank are the only banks that give loan without stress if you have consistent inflow of cash with them.

Since FG acted on Binance dollar manipulating in Nigeria, Naira has been gaining strength.

Is it only Nigeria Binance was banned or have issue with the government country?

Why should we be using crypto rate as dollar rate in Nigeria?

Annoyingly, those who have no idea about the extent of Binance manipulation would come on this thread to defend him. Annoyingly

Modified: It's important for Nigerians to have a clue about the basis of Binance trouble in Nigeria.

So Binance and some crooks in Nigeria, colluded together to be placing fake orders on Binance which will required dollars settlement. The crooks would use the receipt of the placed orders to exchange naira to dollar at a very discounted price as the amount is huge.

Eventually, the orders are not existing, the demanded dollars are meant to be laundered outside Nigeria most especially other African countries and sell at high price.

It got to the extent that there was too much demand on dollar which made the suspicion.

Now , how many years have Binance been manipulating naira-dollar rate in Nigeria? That some people said Binance left a year ago while the dollar is still around N1500. So you expect years of manipulating to be vanished within a year?
Naira has been gaining ground indeed... Self deception is the greatest of all deception

The Lecturer should be sanctioned. We have got to learn to treat people with respect, not assuming that our age or attainment makes us better than others.
The Lecturer pushed the student out of the way, and walk away while saying 'excuse me'. However, the student protested the pushing, the Lecturer, who has walked down some feet away, turned back to challenge the student to delete a video she was taking in public, citing that the video may have captured him. Upon the student refusal, the lecture took matter into his hand, trying to force the phone out of the students hand and that led the student to defend herself.
The student didn't go towards the Lecturer at all, instead the Lecturer walked towards the student in all the drama and started every aspect of the violence that ensued
We must begin to understand that every individual deserves respect and should be treated with dignity.
