Many of the re.tards commenting here will someday the university system after their curse of unemployment/underemployment is finally lifted. Then they will change their voices in defense of their union and against the hypocrisy of the Nigerian government.
It is evident that the writing posted by the Op was paid for by a mischievous government that is bent on misinforming the public. The government has suddenly become accepted by an unthinking online mob as the white horse gallantly fighting corruption. And IPPIS has suddenly become the symbolic tool to accomplish that. Are you guys in.sane or just on cheap weed? The same government that sponsors and worships corruption at every level?
Is it the same government that TinuBullion van is a core part of and EFCC has refused to probe?
Is it the same government that GanDollar is assiduously working for and Buhari has refused to comment about?
Is it the same government that spends $3b in a year on the president's travels abroad?
Is it the same government that budgets unspeakable amount of money for the Aso Rock clinic only for Buhari at the slightest excuse jet out to UK, etc just to take his BP and body temperature?
Is it the same government where Buhari corruptly used government's resources to fight the presidential petition appeal, a very private matter?
Is it the same government that spends billions to fund private pilgrimage trips to Jerusalem and Meccah?
Is it the same government that looks on as police men, SARS, FRSC and so on extort Nigerians daily on our roads without doing absolutely anything about it?
Is it the same government that corners slots for all juicy jobs for its politicians, where the children of nobody no matter how intelligent, smart, and hardworking they are can never aspire to get jobs in those establishments?
Is it the same government that looks on as electricity distribution companies extort Nigerians in the name of estimated billing without supplying them the power they pay for?
Is it this same government that has refused to fund the education sector?
Is it this same government that is systematically snuffing life out of public tertiary institutions to forcefully create an appealing market for private universities founded by the beneficiaries of political offices?
Ask any federal higher educational institutions to tell you the last time government allocation was received for the running of departments. Most departments in years have not been able to run laboratory practicals: That is because the last time any meaningful allocation was received from the Federal Government was during Obasanjo's time. Those talking nonsens.e here should go and confirm that... instead of running your mouths about things you do not understand. How many of your friends and families that are lecturers that you know have jobs in multiple universities?
I can categorically say here that it is a lie from the pit of hell that most federal government lecturers hold multiple jobs. It is a petty mischief from the government. Only few lecturers who are the most senior ones qualify to hold adjunct lecturership, and that is only possible with the written permission of the University leadership. One of the main reasons that adjunct lecturership has remained is because this same Federal government claiming is not ready to employ new graduates. About few years ago Faculty of Law at OAU, Dentistry at OAU, Faculty of Pharmacy at UI, and so on lost accreditation essentially because they don't have sufficient number of academic staff. Those University professors working as adjuncts in other Federal universities are doing more of humanitarian service to help with the academic responsibilities in that second university. Especially because many of them don't get their allowances in those secondary places paid. Same with the work of the external examiners. University lecturers are employed for to conduct research and to teach; not just to teach. When a lecturer is on research leave or visit, he does not have to inform the students about his movements. He informs constituted authorities within the university system. In an ideal setting, the teaching duties of such a lecturer should be given another lecturer who is on ground. However, the setting we have on our hands in Nigeria is hardly ideal. How many departments in Nigerian universities can boast of having 5 or more Phd holders? Even that number is not enough to decently run any course in our universities. Why then won't universities welcome adjunct lecturership and sabbaticals where the departments get to utilize personnel in other institutions in training their students? And those personnel, should they not be paid for that extra labour?
The truth is that, most of the m.idgets running their mouths anyhow on this platform are/were terrible specimens of students. The same institutions where you claim a lecturer did this and did that, there are sterling examples of lecturers that give more than what is demanded by call of duty. That same university and course produce brilliant graduates that the Universities and Nigeria are proud of. Unfortunately it is these few untrainable products that have the loudest voice; together with no job, there is the perfect recipe for spewing nonsense...
FACT: An average university lecturer knows nothing about multiple jobs.
FACT: ASUU is not in any way in charge of recruitment of staff and cannot be blamed for any incident of illegal multiple jobs.
FACT: Any multiple jobs must have their root solidly in the , Bursary and VC's corner.
FACT: ASUU and most VCs don't usually get along because the later are usually seeking avenues to maximize the lean university resources.
FACT: So, if the FG's spurious claim of multiple jobs and corruption is true, it is the University and not ASUU that should resist IPPIS.
If the FG is sincere and not merely pushing for IPPIS as a way of muzzling associations and trade unions, let FG instruct its program developers to modify the IPPIS in way that it captures the university lecturers' legitimate peculiarities. This should be done before migrating university lecturers to the platform, and not after.
Bro thanks jare, many of them don't even realize that moonlighting remains a serious crime in the academia that can destroy you whole career. But most of the time the loudest voice not the most brilliant argument wins.

The institution which is tly owned by Oyo and Osun States has been in the news over alleged refusal of Osun State government to pay salaries of August and September this year.
The protesting staff carried placards with varying inscriptions (Lautech bleeds, Osun hands off) asking Osun state government to hands off the t ownership.
The Academic Staff Union of Universities had earlier threatened to frustrate academic activities if the Osun state Government fails to pay outstanding salaries as contained in the schedule of payments. http://silverbirdtv.com/education/64659/lautech-staff-protest-want-osun-hand-off-institution/

Is it a coincidence that 3 pastors have been disgraced in few months and many more to come? Islam will soon take over Nigeria cos shameful incidents like this will make many Christians convert to Islam

“We are not going to give you money but we will provide for your needs based on your requests when we get your needs assessment through adequate profiling so as to cater for your needs.
This is the key, not about money but need
“I welcome you back. You may not like this, I am happy to see you here. It is not that I like what happened to you. One of you said he left with nothing, but I tell you that is not correct. Nigeria is the only country in which one has to produce a receipt for one's laptop. we live in a digital world right now and everyone should own or use a sort of device if things were okay. I had to pay 4000 to get home after 2 hours duel because I forgot where I kept my laptop receipt inside my car. things are getting really ugly but until we start speaking nothing will change. people will keep acting invisible until people start pointing out their locations and grabbing them in their hands.
the minister just opened a subject that should lead others to address this issue. but some people will keep quiet and let it go.
No Imam has ever come out to speak against social injustices except when a student is asked to abide by a dress code. christians have been killed for years in nigeria but no imam has come out to condemn the killings or make an effort to seek out a solution. they stay in their homes while their boys commit massacres.
yes. categorically, yes! emphatically, yes! mohammed and islam is the inventor of racism.
mohammedans captured europe and ruled for about 1000 year. the caliphate expanded. the first european racists were the portuguese. how did they learn racism, from spain. how did spain learn it, from islam.
when the caliphate conquered spain, they established racism in spain for about 1000 years. when portuguese conquered spain. they learned how the spaniards treat the blacks. then they went about it in many other countries. go to any country colonised by portuguese and you will see blacks with long history of racism. google it.
then the spaniards continued the tradition of racially profiling blacks. these tradition was learned from the muslims that dominated them for centuries.
Jonah 1:3 talked about Jonah on his way to spain.
Romans 15:23, 24, 28 apostle paul went to spain.
spain was a free and welcoming country before the invasion of islam. Even ships from Alexandria which is modern-day Cairo used to go to spain. egyptians were blacks. there was no racism at all pre-islam. no one was singled out because of his skin color. mohammed came and called black abeed. used them in his plantation. and he sold some of them.
How many countries were ever colonized by Arabs Compared to Britain alone,
Onitola2:
How many countries were ever colonized by Arabs Compared to Britain alone,
before britain become a country mohammed and his cohort had already destroyed europe with islamic culture. britain began its conquest in the 17th century. that was over 1000 years after racist mohammed and islamist conquered and enslaved other countries.
at the fall of the all-encoming roman empire, mohammed kicked off the establishment of iskamic culture in many regions. in 711 the mohammedans went as far as spain. imagine how many lands they conquered before arriving spain. their goal was to take over the vatican. today, take a good look at all Africa today. all the paths that islamist threaded are dominated by white people. lybia, turkey, morocco, tunisa, algeria, syria, iraq, iran .... look at all those countries. they are all white. even in africa? it is not possible my friend.
before mohammed, the bible recorded stories of Ethiopia. egypt etc and those people are blacks.
look at a country like Ethiopia that Islam did not colonize and look at their skin.
if islam had captured ethiopia, they would have obliterated the blacks like they did in egypt.
today egyptians all look white but the original egyptians according to archaelogy look black. so ask yourself. what happened?
the reason why countries like somalia and senegal remained black is because the caliphate did not get there. those coutries were captured by the black arabs who gained control over those countries and not by the caliphate themselves.
up to this day blacks are still racially profiled in the arab world.
take a look at all the arab world. many nigerian girls are being killed and tortured. in libya they roasted black guys like suya. you guys if you see videos you no go fit sleep.
muslims do not want to accept the truth about their religion. they will always push back even when the evidence is clear. my dear, you guys have help here. learn about the religion in which you put your trust and set yourselves free. you are ABEED a slave to them
Blacks are called ABEED which when translated means SLAVE.

You Nigerians think your country is as rich as the West. It isn't. We are a poor resource dependent, poorly led country. And yet, we somehow expect free education without thinking about how much it would cost.....
We have free education all over Nigeria...cheap educaiton. And at the end of the day, the schools from primary to tertiary are all badly equipped. Because we want free stuff ....while living on very low oil prices.
Look....I really want educaiton to be free. If it was up to me.....I would have free educaiton. God knows I know most of my countrymen are suffering. B
But we cannot pretend we have the money to fund it.
They pay heavy taxes in Europe for the purpose onf welfare, amenities, public transport etc...here in Nigeria we all rely on Niger Delta oil. The oil that we produce less than the United Arab emirates for a population of 150million and above (UAE has 11million people)...and you expect free educaiton from that??
Either we raise taxes, or we cut subsides on fuel, or we agressively become an industrial nation , and everyone pays taxes at the rate of 40-50% annually, then we can talk of free educaiton.
You cannot get N200000 worth for just N200.
I went to university at N2000 per sememster. My hostel was a mess. My labs were poorly equipped. Libraries did not have enough books. Meanwhile, the private schools are catching up and will soon sur the free public schools. And when it is time for employment...guess who gets the jobs. The well trained private school grads...or the poorly trained public school free education products .
this is hyper sense. You know one thing I know about Africans is lack of long term effect. Public as at today, many of the teachers will not allow there children school there. Many politicians will not because of the low quality. If we want free edu. quality must give way for quantity.

Like I said , churches also are categorize under charitable organization... The culture is that you must document what you use the money of congregants to do with some evidence to show....
If it's your money , you can give it the way you like. But this money is not personal money. it's money from the congregants.
There are institution under law that wan to see what you use the tithe and offering money to do. ..
You can't say , you gave this sum of money to some beggars without no evidence to show .....
This money given is not prophet TB Joshua money, it's the money from congregants tithes and offerings.....
The norms is this; your projects as a charitable organization must be well-documented with evidence to show.... Religious houses doesn't have the absolute power .... They are govern by law. and showing it does make them an hypocrite at all.
.. But if the intention of giving is wrong , then you can now call them ; hypocrite... Shikenah!
I don't know about that law.
Secondly if there is a law like that, it will be ing to a govt agency and not social media. the evidence is not for media but for govt.
and pls if you can provide a link to that law it will be appreciated
