Hello Nairalanders, I've been a silent reader and follower of this thread and some of the previous ones as well, big thanks to everyone who has taken their time to contribute as there have been some really helpful comments. I have a question and I would appreciate answers and advice. I applied for a study visa for myself and a visitor's visa for my 9 year old on the 16th of June. Biometrics request was received on the 17th of June and completed on 24th of June. On the 21st of July, I received medical exam instructions for myself only and an additional document request (IMM5604-Declaration from non-accompanying parent/guardian for minors immigrating to Canada) for my child. The form has been filled by my husband and I ed same with the requested documents. Despite not receiving a medical request for my child, I decided to pay for his medicals as well so that if there's a subsequent request by the IRCC, we would have at least sorted that out. Upon our arrival at IOM for medicals today, I asked two staff and they confirmed my child needed to get his medicals done as well so we did both medicals today. Now here is my question please: Since I received a medical request, I know my medical result would be ed directly on the portal by IOM but I am not sure on how to handle my child's medical result. Do I treat it as an upfront medical and the medical information sheet via webform or would it be processed/ed automatically with mine? I would appreciate answers, thank you all so very much. |

I don't understand how some people think. The fact that you weren't affected doesnt mean you're a saint or that you're operating on another intellectual level. All these pro Gtbank arguments would have been valid if: 1. Gtbank had a history of sending emails to their customers intimating them of the fluctuations in the exchange rate. 2. The purported rate [199.4] deducted was below the CBN's rate. People actually called the Customer Care dept and were told that the rate was N199.4 to $1 and someone mentioned up there that an e-mail should have been sent to that effect. Please read my No 1 up there and you would see that your argument has no basis or are you saying a bank's Customer isn't reliable anymore? Also, before throwing your cape on for Gtbank, please ask yourselves why didn't they just cancel all transactions? Surely that would have been way easier than slamming people with negative balances don't you think? I wasn't affected but I certainly dont feel better than those who were and I can only imagine how annoying the entire situation is. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

You are entitled to your freedom of speech, right? same way he exercised his freedom of speech by telling you not to insult his wife. You're acting all blameless meanwhile you've been insulting everyone who voiced out their opinion. What then is your tirade on freedom of speech about? Freedom of speech is an absolute right, abi? Go insult a police man or walk into a court and insult the judge then come here and lecture us on freedom of speech. 3 Likes |
