Received Medical Request May 28
Did medical at IOM abuja on June 2nd
Medical ed June 8

Since then nothing again
I started sending webforms and emails to diff consular offices
and my school is suppose to resume August 31st
but this morning PPL came through

to those of you out there God is still on the throne

Documents submitted:
ALL CIC DOCUMENTS
Sponsor is my big brother in the US
he submitted bank statement of $40,000
letter of sponsorship
offer letter(for his work)
pay stubs (4 months)
IRS tax certificate

I did not submit any other documents from my side except port photo and Int'l port..

I will need help with University of Regina oooo. If you are attending the school or you are already based there. please come through for a brother

My timeline (please overlook any typo)

So I started the whole process January 2021 though that was my first application. I got ission to university of Regina undergraduate late December 2020 since then I started gathering documents and I submitted the application march 3 and I got a refusal June 27 (ah I cried oo) though I used only my sponsor's bank statements and he was a third party. I didn't even know about nairaland until my visa refusal...Thank you gurus for the timeline you shared.

So for my second application, I started repackaging, I didn't even order any gcms note because I know the visa officer was right in giving me the refusal becoming of my lump sum and I didn't bother to show proof of relationship.
THINGS I DID DIFFERENTLY:
1. I went to my high school to collect a reference letter because I was a prefect, a JET club official and I belong to a NGO so they wrote a letter to consider me a visa

2. I submitted a certificate of my NGO participation

3. Letter of explanation which was written my me PS I didnt use any SOP since I heard by some people that they are the same

4 My bank statements which closing balance of 18 million. I haven't paid my fees just tuition deposit of 500cad. I used my sister as sponsor and I made it clear that she have been saving up in my so I included her CAC, her birth certificate and tax clearance

5. I submitted my Dad land receipts and survey plan. Though my dad and I bear the same name so they will think its mine..lol

6. Siblings birth certificates

7. Reference letter from banker saying I have been using the for years and no fraudulent activities have occurred.

I was refused previously based on personal assets and finances status and family ties..

So here is my new timeline

Application date: August 14

Medical request: October 8


Correspondence and PPR: November 3

IT HAS BEEN GOD ALL THE WAY. ALL THANKS TO HIM AND TO MY NAIRALAND FAMILY. it will end in praise for those waiting for their PPR.

just to encourage anyone that it’s not good to give up before you try..

Deported from Uk
Criminal record (over 5years prison sentence )
Lump sum was used for application , all funds was deposited just 1 month before application

Wish people expecting ppr a positive outcome..

Guys I’m I the only one who got medical Request as far back as 24th September who is yet to receive PPR? I’ve been seeing people who got medical Requests get PPR within a week. The wait is so frustrating!

Bro once you have gotten a medical request from IRCC u are one step to get your PPR..that means all eligibility requirements have been ed assuming did an upfront medical, it would have been PPR and not medical request. GOOD LUCK I myself is waiting for ppr. IRCC sent me medical request earlier this month which have done and it updated to and I know it will end in praise

My PPR came in last night am the happiest man on earth now , i just saw it.

I did mine as requested by ircc on the 13 of Octoberand it was just updated to today though did it in qlife. I think you should just wait a little and according to the customer care in qlife she said its date u did ur medicals that will show so u dont have any reason to worry about IRCC deadlines

Did any applicants went for medicals on the 13th of October? Qlife have refuse to my results. And the medicals was requested by IRCC

I went for my medicals at qlife on Wednesday as requested by IRCC, but they haven't ed the result to my potal I dont know why is taking this long. Or is this how it use to be? I have sent to e-sheet via web form on Wednesday but it hasn't still reflect in my ..an6 guru in the house pls respond
