A DEBUNK OF THE FALSIFIED CIRCULAR LETTER ON EMPLOYMENT STATUS AND PROCESSING FEE ALLEGEDLY CREDITED TO OSUN- STATE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION.

1. This is to inform the general public that a circular letter with the above named content did not emanate from the State Ministry of Education neither did the Permanent Secretary sign it. It is hereby debunked in its entirety.

2. Please recall that this ungodly circular is almost the fifth of its kind issued by the fifth columnist and desperados on Osun Teacher Recruitment Exercise which are calculated attempts to discredit the government of the day. There are obvious evidences in the form and feature of the circular that proved it is not a government circular. Please note that:

the paper was not the official letter head of the State Ministry of Education the more reason for cutting the upper edge;

II. it is written without a reference
number, an abberation in public
service;

III. the signatory is obviously forged
and everyone that had received
our mails in the past will attest to
this; and

IV. there are several unpardonable
grammatical errors in the content
of the circular which a
non-commissioned officer should
not have committed not to talk of a
Permanent Secretary whose
circular letters are carefully written
and proof-read before issuance.

3. The said circular portrayed its scam potential and status when it stated that Five Thousand Naira would be paid to collect employment letter via a non existent e-transact link for payment. This is outrightly dubious and extortive to unsuspecting and ambitious applicants.

4. The public is hereby ened NOT only to disregard the said FAKE circular letter but also avoid it like a plague in the best interest of our dear applicants for Teachers Recruitment and the general public.

SUBJECT: URGENT INTERVENTION ON THE ONGOING TEACHER'S RECRUITMENT.

Your Excellency,

With deep sense of patriotism, I urge you to take proactive measures to address and attend to the candidates of the Teacher's Recruitment, waiting so long for their employment letters.
We are all aware that your istration started on a landmark by repositioning the Osun educational sector with Education Submit held from 22nd to 25th August, 2023 under the chairmanship of Prof. Oyesoji Aremu. Since then, all tiers of educational sector had witnessed positive changes that nobody can deny. These include the feeding of pupils, renovation of schools from Primary to Tertiary institutions, restoration of school farms, reintroduction of inter-house sports, provision of teachings materials, take-off of the University of Ilesa, busuries to the Students of tertiary institutions and many more. Sir, you need to understand that we live in a society that easily forget your good things. We live in a society that only your good deeds while out of office or no more alive. We are in a society that capitalize on your weaknesses rather than your strengths. The truth of the matter is that the only thing left to be done in the area of education is the recruitment of teachers into various schools to fill the vacancies. This needs urgent attention Sir.
*Reminder*

Your Excellency Sir, you need to be reminded that the Teacher's Recruitment Exercise began on February 15, 2024 by releasing of Applications Forms on the portal, which took two weeks. There was no delay when the CBT Examination held from Wednesday, 27th to Thursday 28th March, 2024. Their results were released without any delay. But the challenge of the recruitment exercise started when the candidates were waiting for the cut -off marks and the date of interview. As a result of this delay, the unidentified bloggers littered the social media handles by misleading the public with their various information until the Ministry of Education debunked their fake information. This prompted the Commissioner for Education to release the cut-off and announced the modalities of the interview for the shortlisted candidates. The interview was held from Monday, 9th to Friday 13th September 2025, when the schools had already resumed for the new academic session. Since then Sir, the prospective Teachers are yet to receive their letters. The most painful part of it is that the results of the interview are yet to be released so that the candidate who make the final list can be easily identified. All shortlisted candidates are under doubt.
*Promise Failed So Far*

Mr Governor Sir, this is to inform you as a matter of fact that people of Osun, especially the prospective teachers are now taking the promise upon promise by your government without fulfillment as a measure of loosing hope in your government. The first promise started by the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Hon. Dipo Eluwole when he promised that the shortlisted candidates would resume in September, 2024. He went ahead that their Letters are ready, only to write their names after the interview. Another promise from him was that the recruitment will be concluded by April 2024. In another interview, Hon. Dipo Eluwole promised that the successful applicants will receive their letters of appointment by October 2024. Your Excellency Sir, during the commissioning of completed Ona Baba Ona in December 2024 by your istration, you promised that appointment letters will be released soon, though date was not mentioned. Barr. Kolapo Alimi, the Honourable Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment on Rave F.M. special interview, promised that the recruitment will be concluded in first week of February 2025. Finally, your spokesman, Mr Rasheed Olawale stated that some letters of appointment will be released this week 24th to 28th of March. Today is Thursday 27th March, 2025, nobody has ever seen the green light of the appointment letters. We are in the era of ICT, portals of the Ministry of Education and video clips can bear me the witness of the promises.
*The Proposed Protests*

Your Excellency Sir, you need to be aware that the prospective teachers are planning to stage a protests against your failure to conclude the ongoing Teacher's Recruitment today Thursday, 27th March, 2024. There is no doubt that the opposition party will hijack the protest and use it as an avenue to attack your government. On this note, I want to commend the Commissioner of Police for his intervention to stop the proposed protests. This prompted me to write this Open Letter to you as I promised them when I was addressing few of them on their platform yesterday on the reasons why they need to suspend their proposed protests. I pray we will continue to enjoy peace and security in Osun State under your istration. Amen. Be reminded of the ongoing crisis between your Party PDP and your opposition party, APC on local government occupancy. Another communal crisis ongoing in Ifon Osun, Erin -Osun and Ilobu. Your government needs to take urgent step to attend to these candidates. The proposed protest must be totally discouraged by taking proactive measures.
*Conclusion*

Let me assure you Sir that the citizen of Osun are solidly behind your government. We understand that the ongoing infrastructural projects across the state and the issue of minimum wages might have be responsible for the delay. On behalf of the prospective Teachers, I implore you to take urgent action by addressing the public and release their appointment letters. If it was possible for you to handle Imole Youth Corps and Amoteku Recruitment successful, I strongly believe that the prospective 5,000 teachers are not difficult for you to employ by issuing their appointment letters. We hope soon that the prospective teachers will resume to their duties by third term on Monday, 5th May, 2025.

Frustration Mounts as Osun Teachers' Recruitment Applicants Await Appointment Letters

As one of the applicants for the Osun teachers recruitment exercise, I'm growing increasingly frustrated with the delay in receiving our appointment letters. It's been months since the recruitment process started, and we're still waiting. The state government promised to employ 5,000 teachers, but the prolonged wait is causing anxiety among applicants.

The recruitment exercise began a year and two months ago, after the state executive council approved the recruitment of 5,000 teachers to fill vacancies in the state teaching service. The interviews for shortlisted applicants took place between September 9-13, 2024. However, despite these developments, we're yet to receive our appointment letters.

The Osun State Government has assured residents that the 5,000 teachers will be on ground when schools resume for the next academic session in September. However, as an applicant, I need clarity on the current status of the recruitment exercise and when I can expect to receive my appointment letter.

Regarding the press statement from Osun Democrats for Democracy (ODD), I'm not aware of any fake union or plot to disturb public peace. As an applicant, my main concern is when I'll receive my appointment letter and start working. I urge the state government to release the appointment letters as soon as possible to avoid unnecessary tension.

We, the applicants, are eager to start our new roles and contribute to the education sector in Osun State. We hope the state government will expedite the process and provide us with the necessary updates.

If government failed to do something about it soonest, the protest will go on, on Thursday, 27th March, 2025 as planned.

Now it's no secret among Nigerians living in the UK that the hardest time you will get in the UK will be from a fellow Nigerian.
