A 48- year old man has collapsed collapsed in his home after his son introduced his girlfriend to him for the first time. According to the son, Kwabena Kumah, his Ghanaian father is just overreacting. “I don’t know what happened. He looked shocked when I showed my girlfriend to him. To me, she is the most beautiful person in the world. I don’t care what people say but I am going to marry her. I think my dad is just overreacting.” he said. Kojo Kumah, the father, while receiving treatment at Korlebu Teaching Hospital said “I know my son is not blind. I know my son is well educated and smart. I have given him everything he needs in order for him to get a good life. I don’t know why he wants to disappoint me.” he said According to him, Hannah, his son’s girlfriend is “ugly and smelly”. “It looks like she doesn’t have her bath. The texture of her skin is like the walls of an ancient building that needs renovation. Her face is so… Oh my God. Where did Kwabena get this one too from? In fact, when I shook her hand, I thought I was holding an engine block. I know she will defend herself by saying she has inner beauty but you see, I am not an X-ray machine” he said. A very sorrowful looking Hannah after the happening said she was not going to give up until she gets liked by her boyfriend’s family. “I have been through many beauty therapies and I think that this is the best I can be with regard to my outward beauty. One thing my in-law doesn’t know is that, beauty is from within. I am very beautiful inside. I have a beautiful heart. I will not rest until he likes me.” She said @NATIONAL ACCORD/screwLife.com

The term ' Yoruba demon ' is meant to describe a playboy from the South-Western region in Nigeria. The popular belief is this- the average Yoruba man is a smooth talker, great dresser who has multiple sexual partners and has a knack for breaking the hearts of innocent women. Hence the term Yoruba demon. The term surfaced on Twitter a couple of years and it is now a fixture in Nigerian pop culture. Beware of Yoruba boys for they will break your hearts goes the popular warning among maidens. The term itself is so big these days that veteran TV presenter had to share her views on the Casanova from the South-West. On the second part of Episode 2 of her YouTube show ' Ask Funmi ', Funmi Iyanda breaks down the notorious term. "I think a lot of things we call African culture are actually a confusion and bastardization of Victorian ideas, Victorian philosophy and Victorian culture" said Funmi Iyanda. "...this is why this Yoruba thing is very interesting because what people don't like is that they are paired on one hand to be very Western and on the other hand they behave like bushmen who are polygamous in nature" she further said. Funmi Iyanda went on to say the modern Yoruba man struggles in between traditional Yoruba values and Victorian principles. " What you get are these young men who on the surface of it look like westernized men but deep down they have these ideas of Yoruba ideas of what relationships should be. " Additionally she said "Deep down the average Yoruba man wants to be like his great-great-great grandfather." Funmi Iyanda later went on to make a controversial statement. " He doesn't really mind his wife cheating as long as he doesn't know. " Her point of view might be controversial to some of the public who consider Funmi Iyanda as a radical. In February 2017, Funmi Iyanda stated that she isn't interested in getting marriage » .

QuietHammer: Check very well o, he might be linked or related to those people you're about to criticise. Have you carried out any DNA test to show that he's really a fulani man? Those people you hate are peculiar people and Dangote is peculiar too... Just check properly sha... LOL 1 Like |

I am very pleased with what is happening to that Kemi woman now. She's the fall-guy or scape goat. The way people are waiting for men of God to fall is quite alarming! And most of them had been blessed directly or indirectly by these men of God. When Pastor Christ Oyakhilome and the wife had issue, so many pastors were so critical and spilling biles. Yet, just last month when this same Oyakhilome hosted a giant ministers' seminar that he invited Bennie Hinn, most of his critics attended this same programme to be blessed by this same person they were critical of. What a world! I am talking out of experience...

I never wanted to take this matter serious but I have discovered that the world is saturated with wicked and evil-minded people always ready to bring down and paint people black. Even if he gives her one billion dollars why must you lots believe that something went wrong? Why is this world so wicked? So I should not help someone of the opposite sex? If they have evidence they should bring it up. When Clinton had the issue of having an extramarital affair the acc brought concrete evidence and they had to run some tests. Telling us how big Apostle's manliness is isn't evidence, she's just basking in her euphoria of lust and feeding lustful Nigerians their diet or dozes.

brightalo17: I went to deposit some money into my sister and I decided to change my name yet nothing happened and the bank collected the money without asking me if that was my real name. Another one happened when someone gave me money to deposit into someone else's for him. I actually deposited the money using the sender's instead of my name. So this is no evidence at all!! So go and sleep wicked and unregenerated soul |

kateskitty: Are you commending her or castigating her? The Children look cute and healthy... Has she ever asked you for money to take care of her children? To her those children are not loads but gifts and I believe she appreciate God for that. If she had not begged you money before then why are you using such a derogatory statement to a lovely mother that didn't choose to abort her seeds like most of you will? |

Ipob elders or ers? Which one be traditional rulers again? Can you identify any traditional leaders there? So, any man that wears isi agu has become a traditional leader... The day that some persons never want to see is the day that the South East and the South West will unite. Just imagine a day in nairaland without a tribalistic comment. It is not utopia o. I can happen o. We ought to have a day set aside in nairaland when tribalistic comment will be totally prohibited, to raise consciousness of the fact that we are one. 3 Likes |

jetroolowole: Not just a universal truth, it is the sound truth. Most Nigerians (not all) are just too daft. It is just so clear. But they won't listen. Any truth you tell them, in the stead of disproving you with a superior argument they will just start attacking your person. So many unenlightened educated people. 2 Likes |

realmindz: Brother, in fact I have seen countless. Not only the blinds, but I have seen variety of illnesses being healed. I have also watched closely to see if there will relapse to no avail. Actually, I do not doubt the fact of God using the Prophet to perform great signs, but my question is why is God not using his followers to wrath same miracles? |

rolams: Yes, we have a lot of fake miracles these days, but how can we prove that they are fake if we don't and can't bring out the original? |

realmindz: Cause His disciples and followers are still doing same. He transfered power. That is the point I am driving at... |

keyanZuzer: Whether herbalist or not can an average imam do what they do? I just wanted to know why prophet Mohammed didn't transfer his spiritual power listed above to his followers? Did he take it along to the grave? I believe that power, whether spiritual or not needs to be transfered for the betterment and nourishment of this religion via his disciples. Cause a lot of Muslims are running to churches for miracles, and they are getting it. If an Imam or Alfa can pray and heal someone then why should Muslims be running helter-skelter? My Muslim friends and brothers always run to a white garment church(celestial church) whenever the going gets tough... 3 Likes |

okochaik: Why are muslims not performing the same miracles and wonders like their prophet? But their Christian counterparts are still performing same miracles that their own prophet did. I am just curious. But please, if you can't give me good answer don't criticise me. Attack the question not my person... |

The fact is that every man is entitle to his own point of view. Regardless of his status the broadcaster still speaks for himself only. I have my own opinion and it's for me alone. Even if I am not in of him it doesn't still mean that Nnamdi Kanu's course isn't right. The fact is just that I actually don't believe or have faith in the Nigeria State or system. So many things work retrogressively here. The Nigeria State is the direct opposite of what an ideal state is and means. Even at that, I still don't like Nnamdi's approaches--Preaching Hate. And I will always stand on my word: If the division of this country will bring peace to her citizenry let it come with the speed of light. In Jesus' Name.

Sincerely speaking I don't subscribe to this Biafra stuff, but this guy's resilience and confidence are making me sympathetic. I kinda love his vivacious spirit. If only he doesn't compromise at the end...
