Update on my US journey.

I went to the Social Security istration to remove the restriction on my Social Security Card. The only document I showed them was my greencard. I also filled the SS5 form which is available within the SSA building. I got there by 8:45am. They attended to me exactly 9am and I left there at 9:05am. I'm told the New Card will get to me in 7 to 10 days time.

Hello All …. I am following this trend for a while and need those very vast in K1 visa to give an honest opinion:

I am 35 yrs old( never married, no kids) and I met my finance (52) online, he's a Nigerian but an American Citizen. We are both ants by profession and he works for the US Govt.He has never been married but has 3 adult kids from an American Lady he never married. We have been chatting, video calling, emails for the past 3 months. He plans to come to Nigeria in January 2020 for us to meet physically and build a stronger relationship. And also to enable him initiate the K1 visa process upon return. He wanted me to come down and visit before then, but I declined that option because of the high rate of US B1/B2 refusal and I just started a new job. I have initially been to the US in 2014 for a job related training on my very first US visa attempt so I like to keep that clean travelling track record. Since then, I have also been to Ghana for another job in 2018.

M question is as follows:
1) Is the relationship too young or too presumptuous to apply for a K1 Visa? Or Would my chances be better or stronger going the route of a spousal visa.

- it is in order... As long as there is a proof that you seen within a 2 year period. So his planned visit next year validates that.

2) Do I have a strong case to prove genuineness of the relationship? or what do you think will strengthen the relationship for VO approval.

- Just make sure you don't delete your records with him... Chats, video calls, text messages e.t.c
- You guys should snap pictures especially, during outings..

My interview is fixed for next month, I have some few questions please.....

1a. I was born before 1992 and I have with me, local government birth certificate. Would I need to get the NPC birth certificate at surulere? If yes, how much does it cost.
- You need to get a birth attestation.
- Affidavit of birth is required to get the birth attestation from NPC.

1b. I also read somewhere that they don't give NPC birth certificate to those born before 1992, only birth attestation, please enlighten me on these.
- Yes that is true.
- All you need is affidavit of declaration of Age
from a court then take it to NPC to process the birth attestation.
- Then your birth attestation from NPC.
You can get somone that can do all these for you @ NPC complex.

2. Would I be needing affidavit of birth?lost on this discussion in d previous threads.

3. The police report goes for how much at alagbon, please?

I’m having same issue, this is the 8th working day and nothing yet.. I have been to the DHL office twice and they keep saying that I will get a text when my port arrives... my travel date is fast approaching...

The question goes thus:

She asked again where exactly? I told her

She said so after meeting you, you people go on your way..
And I told her we exchanged we started talking..

She asked what did we do together? I told her I dnt understand, she said did we go out on date, I said YES..

She said what kind of date? I told her cinema

What kind of movies did we watch? I said I can't

She asked again when he came on October 2017, what did we do together? I mistakenly told her we did introduction in which introduction took place in December.. She looked at me with doubtful mind...
Immediately I realized she was asking me if we go out on date? I quickly change my answer and I told her we didn't go on date, he came to my house to visit my parents.

I showed her the picture of my parents and I with my fiancee....

She asked why my fiancee is not around for the introduction I told her he was bidding for contract from United Nation at that time.. I wanted to show her the pictures of the introduction, she said she don't care about the picture since he is not around.. Though my fiancee has already submitted the introduction pictures to USCIS, so I believe she has already seen it as well..

I showed her the phone records from Airtel from the past 3 months Oct 2018 -Jan 2019 which is the maximum month you can get from telecommunications company.. My fiance already helped me to print out from his side from July 2018-oct2018. I showed her both, she just collected it and only looked at the front page and returned it to me. Still she was not satisfy.
She said I want to see your email communication, she asked if I have it here and I said I dnt have it here with me.

She said she want to see it, gave me 221g Form indicate email From oct2017-till date.. She returned my port and told me to submit it to DHL...

She was not happy with my response all through.. I could see it in her face...

It took me a week to print all the emails and also include the same phone records which I have already showed her during the interview to the email and I submitted it at dhl Isolo..

Have already lost hope reading about the experience of people put on AP on Visajourney and all that that's it takes longer time...

But Lo and behold, after 3days of submitting my email, I was ed to submit my international port for Visa issuance...
That's how I got my joy...

I thank God I was not automatically denied because some people may be denied instantly...

Secondly, I thank God she didn't ask me to provide Twitter as more evidence of communication which I dnt have because it's a mistake that's made me to say Twitter.

Your number one question, you can use either of the two birth certificates.

Second question, in my own profile, the ds-160 confirmation code was not required.. I think if you have never before apply for visa of any category, it will not ask you. Dnt bother yourself about that.
