That may not be true, experience is different from educational credential. They're not mutually exclusive. Besides, all that's required is for them to provide relevant documents that demonstrate their experience in their NOC, and education. For instance, I may have been working in a qualified NOC for years before completing a higher degree. ans123: 2 Likes |

What's the percentage of this to total POF. If you have assets to sell with documents, you can sell and add it to your POF immediately but wait until 30days about to elapse before printing your statement and submitting your application. If you have any retirement savings , have your PFA issue you a letter regarding access to 25% 4 months following being out of job. Do all you can to submit your application. There are 2 outcomes, either an approval or a decline. It's about financial capacity, let's assume your monthly salary is 500k and what you took out of POF is N1m, that's not much of a concern. Measles isn't one of those cases that can impact your medical issibility. Below could be conditions for medical inissibility and none of this is the case with measles: 1. Danger to public health 2. Danger to public safety 3. That could depend on sources of fund. Was it from sales of assets you owned, allowance from your organization etc. In any case, you only stand to loose the application fee which isn't that significant. If you have your pension, include it as well. Na your money notwithstanding the 25% accessibility clause after 4 months of resignation Provide a letter of explanation regarding all the sources of funds backed by documentary evidence if necessary and submit your application. Only 2 outcomes, either your app is approved or declined. Besides you have 60 days to submit I guess, I'd advise you may wait until the 57th day before you submit. However, ensure the application is fully completed, last thing to attach will be the LOE. Avoid submitting over the weekend in case their site is having any issues or your payment not successful, you don't want your application to go past 60days deadline for submission. The decision is yours. cadno: 1 Like |

This is trumped up story. The diction doesn't suggest anything British for someone who schooled in the UK from such an early age, and the writer isn't a woman. Familyplug: |

Bros, rest, people migrate for different reasons and most people relocating are educated and have weighed their options. I had a house and was a professional banker before relocating to Canada, I never sold my house to fund relocation. My personal savings after all monthly expenses is more than my monthly salary back in Naija, so we have my spouse's as additional savings. Few months after arriving, had a surgery in a first class government hospital free of charge that would have cost nothing less than N3m in Naija. Mind you, it's free healthcare. Yes that comes with some delays in specialist services; but better than "your quick" medicare in Naija. No wonder, your Bubu and their likes also get such first class medicare in the Abroad you demean. I was more of a 3rd class citizen in my country where you can't have access to services without "dropping something" or dropping names, police go harass you die for house again. Park here, on your light! Ethnic bigotry, akin to racism is more rife in Naija, right in your face. Unlike here, welcoming and accommodating. Never experienced any of your touted racism either at work or on the streets as I did whilst in Naija. No longer stress myself about my daily worries and concerns in Naija. We both work remotely from home and don't have to spend 4-6hrs on our almighty Lagos traffic, waking up at 4-5am and getting back home at 10-11 pm. Water not dey for estate, light nor dey, abeg make we form vigilante to protect our estate o. Those worries are gone I can see you have traveled to many "whitee" countries and your association may have informed your lived experiences but that's not the case for every other legal migrant. So, don't generalize your experiences as fact. They are poor people everywhere and it's non discriminatory. Do well to promote our Naija from within, great things that are working for her, and not spend much of your precious time antagonizing other nations or people deciding to relocate. Otherwise, na dat one we dey call inferiority complex. sukkot: 9 Likes 2 Shares |

That's the status but could be extended at their discretion at a later date. Remed or extension isn't automatic upon medical expiration. There is time lag for that decision to be made. DFreeze: 2 Likes |

You're right. M.Sc being your highest qualification is ideal, but if you want to also explore PNP route and the province requires the ECA for your bachelors, then it's advisable you do both M.Sc and B.Sc. darasam4u: |

Your IELTS must be valid up to when you submit your application, ie AOR. Saynoomore: 1 Like |

Yes, your IELTS must be valid to continue to be in the pool, once it expires, your Express Entry profile becomes ineligible. In order to remain in the pool to receive the nomination, retake the IELTS and update your Express Entry profile. If it expires after the nomination and / or ITA, but before you submit your application to IRCC; you have to take the IELTS again, create a new Express Entry profile, and notify your nomination province, so they can resend the nomination to IRCC, and only then will you receive the nomination on the newly created Express Entry profile. The golden email visited us yesterday. It's PPR and we're grateful for the faithfulness of our God who's made this possible. The Journey It was in March 2018 that we were having frank discussion among friends about governance, business environment, career, family, security and what’s not about our dear nation Nigeria. It was crystal clear to us right there and then that we had to fold up our sleeves and brace up for the change “jappa.” Apparently, we started off with me being the PA; a Masters degree and required years of experience while spouse has Bachelors and extensive work experience too (self-employed as “obioma” or the more formal fashion designer). The race began in March 2018 with renewal of our international ports. The “No Booklet” days was herculean. My ECA processing was seamless (UK Masters). However, with IELTS, the dancing steps changed to “surugede” at the first attempt as I missed my speaking test (no thanks to unpredictable Lagos traffic). I overcame the hurdle by the 3rd attempt. By the 3rd quarter of 2018; ECA and IELTS were ready for spouse as well and we were both in the pool but below trending ITA threshold then. On this journey, every opportunity is golden, don’t procrastinate. For instance, if we had taken another IELTS to improve our scores and possibly max out on all; we’d have gotten the surprise ITA of 437 in January 2019. Since getting an ITA directly under the Federal Skill Workers stream was out of our reach given our ages, we started learning French by 3rd quarter of 2018 as that was the only option aside provincial nomination. The latter (Provincial nomination: Self-employed, tailoring NOC) that got us the ITA, and the rest they say is history. Below, is our timeline: Oct, 2019: ITA & AOR Nov 2019: Meds ed & Biometric submitted. File transferred to AVO. ..... Long Silence.... May 2020: Eligibility ed (GCMS notes) .... Long Silence.... Oct 20, 2020: Meds expired (GU, and meds status changed to, "You don't need medical...." Oct 29, 2020: ADR Schedule 4 (submitted the same day, with Additional Document status changing to, "Not Applicable." ![]() Nov 23, 2020: Meds extended (GU, & meds status changed to, "You ed the medical exam" ![]() Nov 24, 2020: ADR Acknowledged (email) - Additional Document status changed to, "We are reviewing the additional documents provided." Nov 25, 2020: Approved - RFV (CSE Response) Dec 3, 2020: PPR VO: AVO voice but with Hong Kong feelings Why The Abroad? My first thought of travelling abroad was when I graduated from the university. I’d read about tuition-free postgrad programs in the Scandinavians, and applied to few schools but somehow failed to follow up with documentation requirements and the funding wahala - where “village boy” go get money? Upon completing my 1-year mandatory national youth service; I got an entry level job in a bank, and the thought of travelling out of the country vanished with the winds. 7 years after, colleagues had started discussing about Canadian Express Entry and few relocated to Canada. But because of the stringent requirements I’d assumed; I didn’t bother to give it a trial. Additional 3 years had ed, and the wind was unrelentingly roosting in my home, and I couldn’t but be ensnared by this bandwagon effect. With total commitment to the cause, there was no going back. In my local parlance, we’d say “we all die here today,” meaning, once you have your hands on the plough, it’s unfitting to falter. We may be starting over again in a new country, but with a renewed hope for an all-inclusive success. Whilst there may be many unknown unknowns as plans are as good as guess work, we’re fully persuaded that our decision to relocate to Canada is a good one. Where you have a planning and progressive government; it’s likely that individual plans are better guesses, and closer to reality, and for this, we will succeed. The journey may be long and tiring for some, but the destination is within reach. >>> Keep the fire burning, and faith unfaltering! 77 Likes 1 Share |
