88k TLS appointment.
Asking specifically for a first timer. As I know date for biometrics are now a bit far into the future, does it make sense to fill my form saying i'm travelling July, only to end up not having a close by date for biometrics on TLS portal. Lagos state

Alexie89:
What do you mean pay for biometrics?
Is it the 88k tls appointment thing? Or the visa fee?

Hello, please does viator.com still do reserve and pay tours? I've been trying to book some tours but it's not going past the payment method. Any idea of any other sites I can use for booking tours to use for applications?

Thanks in advance

Thank you for your response.
We were/are both first time applicants. I am on this platform to gain knowledge on the right thing to do.
I won't be here asking questions and wasting people's time if i "know the right thing to do"
I am not refusing to present his personal statement, it's just that as advised on this platform, there are credits from multiple sources which is not advisable to use such an acct statement. Hence me saying "the personal acct is not in good state".

giselle237:

You and your spouse are perhaps headstrong.
He was refused for not presenting his personal acct statement.. here again you are reapplying and still refusing to produce this and now claiming business statement-
You know the right thing to do.

It will take more than 2 wks for your visa to be ready, why not make your date like 3 wks to a month's time?

SPDAZZY:
Hello everyone,

Please does it matter to the ECO if one makes a visit visa application to visit family two weeks before intended travel date.

Goodafternoon, please is the visa site down? Im trying to book appointment, it keeps saying maintenance

MsAnonymous: 11:24am On Mar 27
Book for biometrics now.
All documents are submitted physically.
the earliest date for biometrics is currently mid June.
Just fill your form today and get ready

oaa333:
I have a question please. I plan to apply to travel to . My proposed travel date will be in July. However my documents/ bank statement will not be ready until May end. I am reading on here that the wait time for biometric is long.
Is it possible to book for biometric in advance before submitting my documents?

Or all my documents must be ready for submission before I can book an appointment for biometric ?
If its like that, Do we think its feasible to submit in May end, do biometric afterwards and get the result of visa outcome by mid July?

Thank you for clarifying this. Great

cucumbar:
You don’t need a multiple entry visa if you are visiting these countries on a single trip.

You will only need multiple entry visa if intend to leave the shenghen zone and come back again with the same visa .

Hello house,

Pls I intend to visit and some other Schengen countries in July.
I am a first timer, pls what are my chances of being given a multiple entry visa?
Most first timers around me were given single entry visas..
Do I write in my application that I intend to visit multiple countries? will that help my case?
I have valid UK, US and Canada visas, does this help my chances of getting a multi entry visa on first trial?

Awaiting views and responses. Thanks house

Good Day house,

I applied with my husband (family application) to visit UK.
I stood as the family sponsor (I have enough money to sponsor us both)
We didn't submit my husband's acct statement, we only submitted pay slips.

When the decision came back, I was granted, while my husband was denied on the basis that even if I am sponsoring the family, he should still have presented his statement to show his financial status in Nigeria.

When he applies again, we will attach that. However, I wanted to ask if I can still stand as a sponsor?

Hello, biometrics done 21st February 2025

crackcrack:

What date did you do your biometrics?

Your visa has most likely been granted. You’ll confirm when you pick up your port.

Ajalalomo:
Good morning, everyone. On February 18, one of my relatives submitted his application and received an email from UKVI the following day stating, "We are still processing your application."

But when I checked the application tracking portal today to see how his application is progressing, I saw no information update there.
MsAnonymous: 2:39pm On Mar 10
Hello all,

Pls have those who submitted in Mid Feb received decisions already?
I'm still waiting for my visa approval, I went to the VFS website to see if I can even track my application, no progress is showing up. Do I keep waiting?

If you don't try, you will never know. Apply.

I live in the UK and have an event coming up in September. I have already gotten the event tickets and want to apply for canada visa in April, but the stories I am hearing about rejection rate is alarming. Because I don't want to waste my time and money. I am worried, I don't want to add visa rejection to my record, lol. I am a content creator, don't work for anyone but myself, the event is a day event for people in my line of work. Surely, I am coming back to the UK after the event. I hope the will issue me the visa?
MsAnonymous: 10:14am On Feb 25
On adobe reader, print to save as pdf. It should solve the problem

Michaelcoolid88:
no it isn’t altered straight from my bank mail, did same for my employment document. Saw similar complaints on Reddit about same thing
