Another thing he has on his side is that 3years is too much, usually 0.6- 1year is enough. They don’t expect him to be out of work for 3years. Again if the company can prove that 3 years is rightfully necessary, and it will cost them money or give unfair advantage to the other company, then the guy done enter one chance with a complicated case on his hands.
