NwekereNdokl Useless cursed envious imo baastard. Who are my Anambra brothers? You mean a fellow imo ediot masquerading like you. Na only me fit una. Shameless miserable frustrated fellow you are angry because I stated the fact that Owerri is a slum and a glorified village haha

Oga.. your mouth is full of cursing.
Anytime I open this thread and seeing this your write ups and curses, I wonder if you want to continue like this for the rest of your life.
I pray that God will shine His Light in your heart. What you are doing is not good for your health.
God bless you

I'm from Mbieri in Mbaitoli l.G.A Imo state.

We share common boundaries with Uratta people ( Owerri) . But we are not the same culturally and linguistically.
We speak Isu dialect of Igbo language in most parts of Mbaitoli while Owerri people speak Uratta dialect

I'm shocked that those people that have been trolling Imo for years on this thread are still on it even in this 2024.
The unnecessary comparison between Anambra and Imo is not needed please.

Please they should stop this ridiculous behavior. We are all Igbos.I haven't seen a thread where Yorubas or Hausas are bashing and debasing south west states or northern states
This attitude is so shameful. They should retrace their steps.I believe the people doing this are not kids.
Please for the sake of posterity, shield your sword.Initially ,I thought people doing this are not Igbos. Please, umunne Anyi stop insulting Igbo land with these degrading posts

I love the fact that great minds are on this thread.
There are so many intelligent submissions so far.
Great advancements come through ideas.
The industrialization of Alaigbo will have ripple effect on other aspects of our economy.
Our homeland needs new industrial hubs that will be dotted with both indigenous and foreign companies.
South East Asia did it.
Catalonia, Spain did it.
Please, let's keep the suggestions coming.
Hopefully, our policy makers, captains of industries, diasporans and many who have embraced the ' think home' philosophy will
chart a course through our illumination

Nice2023 This year alone...I have personally purchased about 2 different plots of land in my village.

I have stopped investing in Abuja and as a result,I sold three plots of my land at airport road last year alone.

No time for nonsense.

That's a bold step.
Congratulations Sir.

You will surely make great returns on your investment.

Gov Soludo will be flagging off two industrial parks in Anambra in few weeks time.

That's quite commendable.
I hope other governor's will toe the same line

We need new industrial hubs in Igbo land.
Igbos in the diaspora, captains of industries and state governments should be the arrowheads of this initiative.
A developed and industrialized homeland is achievable.
The signs are good.

Sequel to the preaching and adherence of
'Aku ruo ulo' message,we have seen an upsurge in the development of cities, towns and villages in Igbo land.
The rate at which mansions, hotels, estates , public infrastructures are springing up ( especially in the last decade) proves that Igbos are united in of development of their homeland.
However, a cursory look at the human and natural resources of Igbo land shows that these resources are not being optimally utilized.
Beyond the commercial and industrial cities of Onitsha,Aba ,Nnewi,Emene &9th Mile corner,Enugu ,other parts of Igbo land need large scale industries . This will surely engender employment, revenue and overall development of the area.
What then can be done to enhance industrialization of Igbo land?
I suggest a synergy between governors in the region in the areas of power, rail transport and education.
What is your take?

I relocated to Anambra state last year from Lagos. The company I work for transferred me to the state. The people are welcoming.Anambra is a place to be.Dont mind the negative postulations of some people here.
Which part of Anambra are you relocating to? Is it Onitsha, Nkpor, Awka, Nnewi,Ekwulobia?

I am an indigene of Imo state.I relocated to Onitsha last year from Lagos.
I must confess that Soludo means well for Anambra state. He May not be moving at the pace people expect but he is doing well. My advice is that he should continue with ongoing construction of roads , improvement in security. He should also pursue vigorously the new Onitsha project.

I
There is a very large population of Yorubas here in Onitsha.
They are very friendly people here. They go about their normal business without let or hindrance.I haven't witnessed or heard about any clash with Igbos since I relocated to Onitsha 3 years ago.
In Onitsha, nobody cares about where you come from.
Business is what tops everyone's priority
