I mean they’re acting all cozy from Ego’s narration and the white witch is his ex which probably means they’ve done the “Do” before and this is his EX, he can ask her if he wants and the white witch from the narration would be a cheerful giver and don’t forget that praise is a devoted husband with principles and fear of God, it gats be on purpose because he can chop and clean mouth since without ego knowing. I always felt from the story that Centino portray himself the main character as Mr Cosmas and not Ndifreke. Ndifreke owns the story but I believe Cosmas character is more powerful and essential to the story.

As for Praise bringing the lady home for dinner, trust me, that's the best that can happen to that family. She is an ex who obviously still thinks she's got a shot at Praise

If they keep doing the hide and seek meetings outside, it arouses more suspicion. Even if he tries to hide from her, she'll always know how to double-cross him. Then if someone sees him in a questionable position after the lady double-crosses him, how will that story go? Who will believe she double-crossed him? It'll open old wounds and bring distrust to a marriage that is going through a rebuilding process. Then, we'll have a Kingsley saga all over again, but this time in swapped gender roles.

Invite her and her daughter to dinner, let Ego prepare the dinner, sit down in the dining room and eat, tell Ego about Diana, laugh over it, tell Diana the story of how you met Ego, how she is the love of your life, how no matter what happens you are ready to stick with her through thick and thin, how she is the second most important thing to you right after relaxation of restrictions on Interstate movement, which is the first.
