motionarena: Wait till they start billing you from Nigeria for years before you even return to Nigeria. Better you keep your distance with them and chat them up whenever you're in Nigeria, not from across the pond. |

SmartPolician: Nice idea at the boldened. The problem now is inflation. N1m he offered if agreed on 7 years ago when the boy started with him can't do much in the current economy because of the current cost of everything. |

The story doesn't add up in a way. 1. Kanu had his liberty in the UK as a British Citizen. Had his view about a separatist movement. He was eventually picked up in Kenya, not on Nigerian soil and hasn't gotten justice yet. 2. Simon Ekpa had his liberty in Finland as a Finnish citizen, had his views about a separatist movement. He's facing charges now in same Finland from alleged offenses against the Nigerian government. 3. Ighoho is very well known and respected in South-West Nigeria. He wanted a separatist movement too? Many charges were all trumped up against him, but he paid his dues in Benin Republic and glad he survived it all. He has his liberty in , another part of Europe from UK and Finland. Think about the above three and pick one that should feel he isn't being hunted. 2 Likes |

Reflect on your past. Try to write down the mistakes you may have made in the past and focus on addressing them. You are your own strength, fight with your own strength and don't depend on others to bring your dreams to life. It may be rough today, give it a try by first focusing on the mistakes you have made in the past and focusing directly on the future. There's so much more you have in stock in life that you can make happen for yourself sis. We just have to keep trying. |

What kind of romance do you still need after 7 kids? Your focus should be on doubling your hustle so you can get a more comfortable place for your large family, not additional romance with your wife in an inconvenient place. Are you trying to have the 8 baby?

Usmanovic95:Nice idea on the dislike button! I think a dislike button should be an added feature, not a replacement for the share button though. Some folks have their followers that still share their posts, so the share button can still remain alongside a dislike button... Just my opinion. |

frozen70:Nicely said! I have a friend whose marriage got ruined from this you just said. He is happily married with 2 kids and we all knew his wife and saw them as a happy family. His wife was a God fearing woman that dedicated herself to her family. He eventually had a side chick that eventually gave him gonorrhea. He ended up ing it to his wife and suddenly ran to us his friends when him, his wife and his side chick all were experiencing the symptoms of gonorrhea - that's an STD. The only advice everyone could give him was to open up to his wife because everyone knew she was the homely type, the side chick was all over the place and he met her at a club to start with. He ended up treating all three of them, but the wife left him because she thought he could have ed something more serious like HIV to her from his randy habits. 2 Likes |

Cheap. That's the price of mangoes in Atlanta currently. 2 mangos for $5, that's like paying N7,500 for just 2 mangoes. I personally took the pictures when I saw this thread and noticed some folks were saying the mangoes were expensive from what OP posted. Though the sizes may differ though.

#Law Law is useless anywhere if studied in Nigeria - you need to re-learn the laws of the new place. A lawyer in Nigeria can't just practice in or anywhere without first going through the legal process there and be certified to perform as a lawyer there. Same applies in various countries and jurisdictions. For example, in the US, a lawyer that specializes in Texas legal system may not be able to participate in a case in Connecticut - their laws are different in both states. So, courses and more courses are needed. So a lawyer from Naija won't even understand the different laws in various places outside Naija. 1 Like |

Something similar happened to me in the past, but I acted swiftly. A friend visited from Nigeria, we hung out together in Atlanta while he was here with us. He eventually returned to Nigeria and called me to tell me he needed a favor. He said a friend of his wanted to send him some money and he wanted me to get it for him. How much? $300. So, I gave him my Bank Of America details, $300 ain't no big deal. His friend sent the $300 to me and I sent everything to him in Nigeria, I didn't charge him anything cos I thought the whole thing was about a friend helping a friend out. Suddenly I went to sleep one night, woke up and saw various alerts from my bank. A total of about $58,000 was deposited into the I gave that dude overnight from different people I don't know of. Dude was calling me over and over and when he reached me told me to send all the funds to him in Nigeria. I asked who all these people were and he said they're all his friends. It's not clear how a visitor from Nigeria can suddenly come to America and have over 50 different people sending funds into my own personal US . I simply drove to the bank and told them I don't know nothing about all these transactions. All he told me was that he was expecting some funds from one friend, where all these funds came from is strange to me. The bank made me pay back the $300 I already sent to him and shut down my . An I had maintained for over 15 years suddenly got shut down, affecting my usual transactions like direct deposits etc The difference between me and this dude is that I reported it, he didn't. He spent the money, I didn't even touch it. 6 Likes |

Marriage is easy, divorce ain't that easy. How can he divorce at a police station? Does it even make any sense? Did they get married at a police station? Who divorces at a police station? Nor disturb police with civil matters abeg, they have a lot on their minds already.

Anyone can put s on their phones to deter theft. If a thief steals your phone, at least they won't have access to your personal data like your bank apps, s, details etc. Why can't women do same to protect their phone and personal details? Not sure where his mindset of prostitutes is coming from. Insecurity issues I guess.a w.hore will always be a w.hore, or no . |

Wizardslayer: Your definition of "Legally living in America" needs to be clarified. Some students are legally living in America because the laws allowed them into the country and they went through the due process to continue their studies. Suddenly, just yesterday, news came out that foreign students in the US are being deported back to their countries for even minor offenses like over-speeding. That's unfair in my opinion. https://www.financialexpress.com/world-news/us-revokes-f-1-visas-of-indian-students-for-minor-offences-orders-immediate-self-deportation/3802536/ 2 Likes 1 Share |

onome25: But America is feeling it. Almost all items you find in many US stores today are Made in China. Who feels the impacts other than the US Citizens? Price of everything has increased and stock market keeps dropping in it's value. More and more job losses reported every week. It's not helping the US economy at this point. |

tuoyoojo: At the boldened, you are very correct. Almost everything in America is made in China. How someone suddenly wants to change that overnight is what everyone is waiting to see. Even large firms like Nike, Tesla, and several automakers and manufacturers depend on China. Wrong move to hit China with tariffs at this early stage of his power |

franchasng: You sound like a backward person from what you said here. Have you ever even left Nigeria before? If you have, have you ever been to the US before? If you have, have you experienced what nurses in the US go through on a daily basis? If you have, have you compared it to the quality of life she mentioned? Did she mention anything about looking for a husband? What makes you think it's not a t decision between her and her husband to return to Nigeria? What she has already experienced in the US is probably what people like you are praying to experience. So, don't just talk rubbish on somebody's personal decisions. Was it you or your family that paid for her and her family's return flight to Nigeria? Can y'all even afford it? So, shut up sometimes bro. 1 Like |

dederocs: How are you sure they are bandits? Don't they have to be investigated by the police first? Yes, hunters use dane guns, bandits use dane guns too, some bandits have assorted weapons. Just seeing some people with dane guns and setting them ablaze is cruel. The folks that did that need to be prosecuted. We are not talking about their tribes now, every tribe have hunters and hunters use dane guns to hunt. So how do we differentiate hunters from bandits? No AKs was found on them. They would have shot everyone if they were bandits. Just my view though. |

He doesn't even have anything in his luggage except drugs. I don't think this dude has ever traveled before, or may be someone gave him the luggage to help them travel with it. What kind of stupidity is this? Ordinary dried fish, I refused when someone asked me to help them take them to the US because I'm not sure what's laced in them. This one chose to move a luggage filled with nothing but drugs. Isn't that crazy? He was probably high on one of them already. 1 Like |

Jungle justice should be frowned upon by everyone. If these hunters were seen as threats, why no call the police on them? Why set them ablaze? That's wrong. Those behind it know they wouldn't like themselves and their family set ablaze too, so, why do it to someone else? Reciprocating this act will just make it worse. Let's just make peace reign. |

His choice of the word "Obedient" to label Labor Party is flawed. So if Peter Obi chooses to switch to another party tomorrow, everyone in LP will remain"Obedient"? It's like labelling PDP ers as "Atikulates" when Atiku can bounce to another party tomorrow. Choice of words bro. 2 Likes |

Nobody has any right to stop anyone from entering any state in Nigeria, not even a governor. It's unconstitutional. If y'all have misunderstandings, then solve it amicably between each other, don't tell him he can't be in a place in Nigeria whenever he wants to, like he can't tell you you can't be anywhere in Nigeria whenever you want. Your powers don't stop people from their constitutional right to freedom of movement. 2 Likes 1 Share |

planetx: I've had it happen to me in the US only once. One of luggage was actually seized at the Hartford Jackson airport in Atlanta because they needed to investigate it. I took the rest home and the seized one was already delivered to my house before I got home. They have sniffer dogs that smells what they consider illegal. That's when they open your luggage to physically search it. I have never been stopped by immigration officers in the US and asked to open my luggage. They have all my information already and know where to find me. They simply took the 'suspicious' luggage and let me go home. If I had anything illegal in it, they would have launched an arrest for me. But they found nothing. I travel a lot as a consultant and haven't faced it before. I guess folks that go through that probably had food items, herbal medicines, drugs etc in their luggage that sniffer dogs pick up quickly and need to go through physical examination. I don't travel with stuff like that, so I never went through that before until the particular incident j mentioned above. I can only talk for myself, but it's not as terrible as being stopped by several people at the same airport in Lagos or Abuja that I fly through to get to Nigeria. The difference is clear bro. |

OkanlawonB: Ive lived in the West for more than 20 years now and can compare between how it's done here vs in Nigeria. The second man saw that man being checked by the first guy and wants to do same thing again. Why the repetitive tasks? So if it's 100 of them that wants to check your bags,he's supposed to allow each them to do that? Hell no, a tired person from a long flight would definitely get angry over that. I've had to go through that crap where almost 10 people asked me to open up my luggage in Lagos each time, each ransacking my bags. It's no like that in the US. Your bags are scanned and checked in and nobody asks you to open them. As soon as you get to Lagos is when each of them want you to open your bags and show them the contents. They know ure already tired after the long flight and will prefer you give them some money so they don't stress you anymore. |

youngsahito: Immigration in the USA don't work like this ones in Nigeria. The ones in Nigeria can stop you more than 10 times asking you same questions one after the other. Most of them only want money. The immigration / NDLEA officials have delayed me at that airport one time and made me miss my flight. It's so annoying sometimes. |
