Drnice I really like your courage and optimism, but the truth is like it or not, guys are already resuming in shell....what I'm not sure of is if they have concluded with the recruitment or they are still calling for next stage because this particular process is expected to be faster than when they use SRD

We having very few success stories here on nairaland doesn't mean Shell haven't call so many people, I have heard of two successful candidates from friends (though i dont know them in person) for the few still in the race (without love letters ) I wish you all the very best. Just wish to hear many success stories here on nairaland as it is with other recruitments (PWC, KMPMG, EY etc)
Also while going through the thread i saw d response gotten from Shell by yintunji....@yintunji hope you later got response from shell.....

to everyone that made it congrat... at least most states i saw, the successful candidates were initially on the list of shortlisted candidates for the screening excercise...... but so sad that for KWARA state where i come from it is not sooooo... just wish equity and fairness could be restored to my state... though i made the list but was unable to go for d screening excercise at Onne , but my joy will have no bound if the two selected were among the initially selected 8 for the screening exercise. i would have truly ascertained that the selection process was fair all through, since i know not even a RECRUIT OFFICER before i was selected for the screening exercise ... they just gave me another reason to DISLIKE my state the more , a state where everything must be MAN KNOW MAN. a state where NEPOTISM and INCOMPETENCY is the order of the day so far you know the Top echelons....... for the TWO that made it, i still congratulate u guys. no hard feelings just pouring my heart

let everyone be hopeful, and for peeps feeling they haven't dont well in the test, u don't need to start loosing hope at this early stage. u will be smiling when u see ur success mail ind next few weeks.... just be hopeful n prayerful

congrat guys that wer selectd, was in ur shoes last yr got to d final stage (AC) bt was dropped (sad) afta falling in love wit their nice n simple office in UBA building in Marina, so i couldnt see a reason to apply this yr, last yr was nt online, so since d format is changin to online this yr, i am PRIDICTING itz likely to b SHL (like PWC), so guys for u to perform well in SHL questions u can check their site (www.shldirect.com) n see their practice questions to hav a feel of d Xam, SHL is simple bt tricky ( particularly d verbal), for d numericals their is a website called 'www.graduate monkey.com' n goin to d site wil really help cos the numerical SHL question format ar solved using d shortest methods ( if u b guru no need visiting d site), for d verbal u can visit ASSESSEMENT DAY to see their questions too n to enhance ur speed n accuracy... though this sites charges fees to gain full access to their questions. NO abstract so i dnt think itz necessary practicing dat... wishing u all d very best
