tWalter: Make sure you pay all your tuition fee then you will stand a chance of getting their visa and been allowed by immigration to enter the country. I think they still give study visa to people that apply for university of mauritius, bcus dey see you as serious student after paying the huge tuition fee |

Christie171: Christie , at the moment work visa in Mauritius is still possible to secure, but anything study visa for Nigerians has been put on hold for more han 1yr now except for some schools. Like for example if you apply for a program in one of the biggest university in Mauritius and pay $5000 tuition fee complete, then immigration will allow you to through bcus paying that huge amount means your coming for study purpose . But if you apply for a program in any backyard school for Mauritius , they won't give you the visa and even if they give you the visa, the might turn you back at the airport 1 Like |

MrUnity: This question is funny.. People from this thread are entering Mauritius and your here asking if anyone has gone. People from this thread that has entered Mauritius doesn't come back online to broadcast it that they are in Mauritius. That's why you haven't seen anyone posting here that he or she has finally entered Mauritius. |

Kreemak: I won't advise you to use Form A to pay your tuition here in Mauritius because of the long delay in getting the Form A approved. Even though I know how crazy black market rate is right now but you have no choice . But if you still insist to use the Form A then you can go ahead |

Ertugrul: Well what I will advice you on this is change another course because no embassy will grant you visa that extends the duration of your port validity So switch to another course that is either 2yrs or 3yrs, that way there will still be months left in your port validity. |

Kreemak: Flight ticket down here is expensive, you can get between 600k to 800k or even less. I don't know about other schools in of tuition deposit refund just in case. But in my school, you don't need to pay anything until your visa comes out, even application fee is free. It's only when your visa is approved that you will pay your tuition fee |

Ertugrul: I'm sorry I don't have information about both schools to help you navigate your choice, it's only my school I have information about them. But if I'm to recommend, I suggest you for for Middlesex, the school is kinda popular for here sha. You can make more research online about both schools and gather your public review about them, then that way it will help you to choose among them |

BenNash: First of all, jobs in hospitality are not restricted to only people that studied hospitality course, any one in different field can work in hospitality industry even if you have little or zero experience. Secondly, in any school you wish to apply in, make sure you try as much as you can to pay your complete tuition before coming to Mauritius. That way you won't have to worry about paying tuition balance when your here, so that all the money you will be getting from your job you will be saving it. There are lot of schools here with low tuition that offer business course. To be honest bro, if you have this $5k already , why don't you use it to apply for schools in Europe or North America instead of Mauritius. But if you insist you want to come Mauritius then it's all good. |
