Hello Everyone, My wife applied for SOWP (spouse of a Masters student) on Jan 23rd with biometrics completed Feb 5. She reached out to IRCC (via email with the s provided on this thread) on Apr 6 and got a response from Nairobi, saying the application is still within the processing time (over 10 weeks after submission). The medical was updated on the same day. Its 12 weeks already and the page is stuck on "application is in progress". Eligibility has not started. A webform was sent on Apr 11 but no response or till date. Is it okay to keep sending webforms and emails to IRCC or we just wait? |

JapaPrince: Your response is spot on. We all have different aspirations. Imagine feeling safer walking down the street in a foreign land at midnight but as a Port Harcourt "big-boy", I am on high alert in broad daylight. I knew I wont come here to pluck money from trees but I still cant compare it to life in Cityboy country. 4 Likes |

Rasakiopoewa: I am in a similar situation. Applied for SOWP on January 23rd and I received a ghost update after 24 hours stating there was an update to the application. Checked the portal but there was no update till now. With regards to crossing the hurdle, its a SOWP for Masters student so I don't believe it applies to me. Do you recommend sending a webform as well? |
