I don't think you understood his question. Many of us have been there - leaving uni and facing the labor market, then realizing that our degrees might not be as hot as we had thought. He had some concerns about this and was only trying to get advice on where to focus his job search on, not necessarily about why he wasn't called for the interview

Bodylicious:
My friend you still never move on...Leave all those questions and move on...We are talking of appointment letter you are talking of CBT....

grin Okay

Four hundred and forty-four.

Somebody said something about savagery and bullying: don't create a dichotomy. They're the same thing.

P.S: Four hundred and forty-four.

Bro! That analysis was one weird and creepy one. Also, I think we should be able to spot the difference between savagery and bullying. Mosgoon is an easy target by everyone because he made the mistake of talking about what he's achieved. Please leave the guy alone. If you don't rate his posts, ignore them.

ucheuzor1:

nice one bro. I still wonder why someone will be monitoring another, in a negative light for that matter. Doesn't really make sense.

I have learnt a lot from this group. Instead of us to see how we help ourselves constructively, we're busy digging information that might tarnish someone's image.

Mosgoon and whoever's axe is gored, please don't take this things too serious. Move on and see it as one of those challenges we often or seldom encounter in our everyday lives.

Yes, but this person refused to provide any information to his claim. Even without his screenshots, if some other person from here confirms it, then fine. However, until then we shouldn't start a long thread over whether it is true or not. Also, watch how this becomes spinned to people's theories.
As we go into the new week (and closer to the end of the process) we don't need speculations that can cause unnecessary heart conditions cheesy

Gbriels:
Don't u think is too early to knock off someone's inquiry...?
The dude said that a friend got a email from nnpc...times are changing and so do methods and procedures...

I beg you guys, let's not go through the next 10 or 20 threads discussing this non-issue. So far through the process/stages, NNPC hasn't sent any regret mails. I don't think they'll start now.

Saimeritus:
Someone claimed he got regret mail from NNPC this morning. I'm still demanding for screenshot from him. Any other person in this category?

Okay. I was even wondering about this. During my interview they didn't look at my CV. I doubt the other five copies even left the Chairman's table. So that means after the interview they'd likely go through the CVs?

larride:

I don’t think so. The test has served its purpose. From 60k that’s sat for the test to 9k invited for the interview. The CBT has taken clear of 51k people already.

Interview and probably your CV will take care of this stage.

Here's one: how was our interview schedule determined?...my guess is they started from the guys that scored the highest at the CBT. Also, will our CBT scores be used as a factor in determining the finalists?

Jiang:
Alright, I hereby announce d end of tfare discussion....

So wetin we go discuss next nah grin

These NNPC guys really don't use LinkedIn though...I tried to connect with my chairman after my interview and till today he still hasn't accepted. I guess it's just job seekers like us that have time to use it

Beeam:
A quick search for King Anyam on LinkedIn will reveal he's an HR Staff with NNPC

Maybe they are sending the consolation money for those who didn't make it in batches... grin grin

I thought about this. Reason why I chose not to disclose the name of my chairman when several people were asking in the previous pages without good reason...I'm sure these guys are curious to know about our thoughts on the process and what better way than to get from nairaland?

Jarus:

Even NNPC folks read this thread.

I once posted a piece of information here from an NNPC "sauce" who doesn't know me by my NL moniker and the person saw what he told me on this thread (didnt know he reads this thread) and he asked if I was the one that posted it. I told him I was the one (can't lie).

I got an answer to this question from the chairman after my interview. He said everyone would start at "zero level", the GT program would last for three years and in that time they'd determine where we fit. He also said that in our time as GTs, they could even be able to tell who'd make it to GM position.

iammiracle1:

Ask him biko, pls also ask if GT is only for one year? And is it done in abuja? And also how ppl are split into subsidiaries later on? Is it by your course? Or what?

Did you apply for the job?.. I did on Ngcareers and received the same message. I've since been trying to research the company though but haven't found much online.
