Save your money if you want to use ut for study permit application. It's not a useful or required document that can alter the decision of your application
So it's not a requirement for UK student visa application?

QuickSuccess:

If you have received a Visa decision from UKVI, it takes about two to three working days before VFS gets your port.
It may take shorter, but that's what I've observed so far.

Also, it's almost impossible to VFS Ikeja, the best option is to go there physically. You can try this email, but they're slow to respond: [email protected]

Okay thank you. I will go tomorrow.
Again please for someone applying for UK student visa, will she need police report?

Can someone assist with VFS Ikeja number. I applied for visit visa for my mother in-law. Biometric done on the 25/02/2025. I reached out to ukvi via paid mail and I was told that decision as been made seen 12/03/2025. VFS Ikeja didn't provide any delivery details after I was debited twice for DHL delivery. No update on application. I tried reaching +2348070199993 but to no avail.

Please any success yet with the vfs ikeja ... I'm in the same exact shoe, I am very far from the center to go ask for my port to know if it's there yet.
If u have gotten the please share

If you have someone in the UK, Ask them for help.
It's quite easy from the calls to go through from there

Yeah thank you I just did and they said I should wait this week for decision. Nothing specific

Smartguru2:
Also, please check your email, I have trying to reach you.

Thanks.

I didn't get no mail yet , try again
Malosky1: 10:52am On Jan 27
Smartguru2:
Did you use a dorm ATM card or naira card?

You can't do the paid call transaction using a naira card.

Okay, I have been trying with a naira .
Then I just have to focus on the paid call.
My sch resumed today
Malosky1: 8:53am On Jan 27
GoAbroad25:

This is exactly what you'll do.
Don't fold your arms and allow them to use you till your university withdraw CAS.
Have someone do paid calls & emails on your behalf twice next week.
Tell them to prioritize your application, that your university has resumed and that you have invested a lot into this.
You can even tell a lie and let them know that your study leave from work has been approved and someone else is resuming 1st week in February.
Appeal to their sentiment, so you'll know if they want to schedule you for an interview or request for further documents.

Thank you very much.
I have been trying paid mail since last week but payment keeps failing... Maybe I will try the call instead now

So I have to keep renewing till I get a reply?

Unfortunately, that what it means because I have renewed mine 2 times beyond my calculated period 😭

Which sch is yours? Do you know anybody who has received visa from same sch

Thank you, I have been trying to make payment but it has been failing and telling me I don't have a payment reference.
What could that be??

Malosky1: 7:25pm On Jan 24
smoothknight:

I’m in the same situation and my pof runs out today. Pls do I renew or I leave it?

Yes oo!
Without the POF being there it will affect the decision because not being there means u means u don't have enough funds for ur study.

What day did you get a notification that the DMC has received your application? You should count from that date not necessarily the day you made the biometrics. I really don't know about Ikeja VFS,if they get the application across to the DMC the same day.

Did bio same day at Ikeja 2 Jan. I did not receive any mail from DMC but rather I only received a mail from VFS that my docs has been sent to UKVI..

Please how do I send the paid mail, please I need help on how to to. 🙏
Malosky1: 2:12pm On Jan 23
Smartguru2:
This is my exact situation.

And my resumption is on 27 Jan. This Monday.
