The prophetic counsel of the late Prophet TB Joshua to world leaders bears even more weight today given the current tensions and conflicts engulfing the world - especially in the nations of Russia and Ukraine…

"I was carried to see a weapon somewhere in the spirit. When this weapon is tested, the world will shake. Provocation can cause it." - TB Joshua

“God hates sin, not sinners. When the Bible says, ‘Do not judge so that you will not be judged’, it means we should hate sin, not the sinner because sinners can change… We should hate the act, not the people because our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the ‘spirit beings’ that cause all these acts.”

If this is what YouTube classified as Hate Speech, it means the Holy Bible is also Hate Speech as it clearly states homosexuality is a sin!

The YouTube channel of Pastor T.B. Joshua Emmanuel TV has been suspended for allegedly propagating hate speech. Joshua is the founder of The Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN).

The church said in a statement posted to Twitter on Thursday concerning the suspension: “Our mission is to share the love of God with everyone – irrespective of race or religion – and we strongly oppose all forms of hate speech! We have had a long and fruitful relationship with YouTube and believe this decision was made in haste.”

The YouTube channel, which had over 1.8 million subscribers and 600 million views before suspension, was among the largest in Nigeria and reportedly the most watched Christian ministry ever on the video-sharing platform.

The church also published on Facebook the video that led to the channel’s suspension.

The video titled “‘THE SPIRIT OF MAN IS TORMENTING YOU!!!’ | TB Joshua Personal Prophecy” was about Chetanna Nwabuwa a Nigerian living in Ghana who was allegedly possessed by a strange spirit.

The incident has led to public outcry from Joshua’s followers on social media.

Suzanne Mare, one of the followers of Emmanuel TV, expressed anger and frustration over the development.

“I have followed SCOAN and Emmanuel TV for 18 years and not once have I encountered any form of hate speech. I find your censorship extremely disturbing,” she wrote on Facebook.

“I had depression and attempted suicide twice but after watching Emmanuel TV and realising how much God loves me, my life was saved,” Rita Machipanda emotionally wrote on Facebook, pleading with YouTube to restore the channel.

YouTube had earlier awarded Emmanuel TV a gold creator award for suring 1 million subscribers, an achievement which attracted commendation from the company’s CEO Susan Wojcicki.

A Zimbabwean Member of Parliament, Dr Ruth Labode, was among those who ‘received healing’ from COVID-19 during an online prayer session on TB Joshua’s Emmanuel TV on Sunday 16th August 2020.

Dr Labode, who is the chairperson of the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Health and MDC-T’s legislator for Matabeleland North Province, was among dozens who connected ‘virtually’ to receive prayer via video call.

Labode, who sat beside her husband who also explained he was COVID-19 positive, revealed she developed flu symptoms before resolving to go for a medical test.

“Currently the symptoms are a headache, sore throat, cough, body weakness, loss of sense of taste and appetite,” she described, brandishing her medical report confirming the diagnosis and a breathing device to aid her because of difficulty in breathing.

“As a policy maker, you have responsibility at a national level… When you cannot participate in policy making, you are out of circulation. I am asking God to deliver me from COVID-19. I do not believe this COVID is unto death,” she explained.

Shortly afterwards, one of Joshua’s ministers came forward to offer prayer for Labode, alongside other COVID-19 patients from Colombia and South Africa.

Both Labode and her husband began to involuntarily ‘vomit’ as the prayer proceeded, falling to their knees in their home in Zimbabwe before being declared ‘free’.

“When I was being prayed for, I felt heat in me,” the Member of Parliament explained after the prayer, which was ed to Emmanuel TV’s YouTube channel with over 1.7 million subscribers.

“Right now, my sense of smell has returned. I am not coughing. I also vomited something out,” she testified, tasting and smelling an orange to the immediacy of the changes in her health.

“I am healed of this COVID and I want to thank TB Joshua for allowing himself to be used by God to cut the transmission of COVID,” the doctor turned politician concluded.

Labode’s Nigerian husband equally testified he was ‘healed’ from COVID-19 and removed the neck collar he used as a result of the pains.

Joshua’s popular ministry has claimed that ‘thousands worldwide’ have received healing from COVID-19 after receiving ‘interactive prayer’, with several testimonies ed to YouTube from those with medical reports ‘scientifically’ proving their recovery.

Recently, the World Health Organisation (WHO) reacted to the video of a Cameroonian medical doctor who stated he was healed of coronavirus after receiving prayers from Joshua.

In a press conference, Dr Tedros Ghebreyesus, the Director General, noted the importance of “spiritual leadership” and said faith and science should work together.

Ruth Labode is a graduate of Sofia Medical School in Bulgaria (MBChB) and also holds a Master’s Degree in Community Health (MCOMMH) from University of Liverpool UK.

She was the first female Provincial Medical Director in Zimbabwe, a position she held for five years and she is currently serving her second term as a Member of Parliament of Zimbabwe.

Points to note to confirm this is not an 'audio miracle'.
1. He's a medical doctor and wouldn't just put his reputation on the line for a claim without proof.
2. There are medical reports to the healing.
3. The way he reacted when he was prayed for was clearly supernatural - the involuntarily vomit, excessive sweat
4. He's speaking French, not English - yet God still touched him as the minister prayed because language is not a barrier to God's power.
5. He was in an isolation ward in hospital when he called for prayer.

This is a genuine miracle!

The pope kissed the feet of South Sudan's leaders but still the peace deal was not finalised and unity government not achieved. Let's hope the coming of TB Joshua will finally bring a resolution to this war-torn country!

His message and prayer was very inspiring.

This is not the first expert to affirm such. Indeed, anyone who watches the clip of that terrible incident would concur it was not an ordinary 'collapse' due to structural defects.

TB Joshua does not strike one as the kind to cut corners - given the international exposure his ministry has and the fact this guesthouse was meant for foreign pilgrims.

Just read this comment on Facebook:

Displaced Nigerians from South Africa

Private citizen Barr. Allen Onyema provided airlift worth over #200,000 per person.

MTN provided Sim cards and voucher worth over #40,000 per person.

Pastor TB Joshua provides start up capital worth #100,000 per person.

Federal Government of Nigeria provides Jellof rice.

That's how you know a failed government when individuals have to step in and step up before the government realizes that it has to even lift a finger..

Well the government's response might have been different if it were cattle/cattle herders being displaced.

He's got a valid point...

As for the second comment below, I reserve my comments... grin

I chanced across this Twitter exchange between a Nigerian and a South African!

The Nigerian was lecturing his South African colleague on the role Nigeria played during the brutal apartheid regime, even sharing a video clip of Nelson Mandela personally thanking Nigerians for their . The South African responded by itting, "I myself don't know anything about Nigeria except for TB Joshua!!!"

The news of Benny Hinn’s public rejection and renunciation of the ‘prosperity Gospel’ has been hailed as a watershed moment within Evangelical Christianity.

However, it remains to be seen whether his ‘correction of theology’ will be equally embraced by the multiple prosperity preachers permeating Africa, many of whom regard him as a mentor.

This week, Pastor Benny Hinn itted the controversial teaching that believers have a right to the blessings of health and wealth through the “sowing of seeds” is actually unbiblical and “an offense to the Holy Spirit”.

Hinn, once known as one of the most aggressive promoters of the Prosperity Gospel, told viewers during a live broadcast: “I don’t want to get to Heaven and be rebuked. I think it’s time we say it like it is: The gospel is not for sale. Healing is not for sale. Prosperity is not for sale.”

His public reversal on the issue comes in the wake of his nephew, Costi Hinn – who once worked and travelled with him – releasing a damning book titled ‘God, Greed, and the (Prosperity) Gospel’.

Costi described working in the ‘Hinn dynasty’ as a fusion of “royal family” flamboyancy and “mafia” secrecy, detailing how money faithfully given to the ministry was squandered on mansions, private jets and fast cars and loyalty cherished above honesty.

However, irrespective of the wide-ranging opinions about Hinn and his legitimacy, his influence in the new generation of African preachers is undeniable.

In recent years, Hinn held several high-profile events with Nigerian Pastor Chris Oyakhilome – also a known proponent of the Prosperity Gospel and faith-healing – the duo even launching a new television network in USA.

He has also held public meetings with Nigerian prosperity preachers Ayo Oritsejafor and Biodun Fatoyinbo (currently in the eye of the storm for multiple accusations of rape and sexual impropriety), Ghanaian Bishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams and Zimbabwean ‘Prophet’ Uebert Angel.

His style of message and ministration can be seen mirrored by charismatic preachers throughout the continent, with the fixation on ‘seed faith’ championed by the likes of Matthew Ashimolowo, Funke Adejumo and David Oyedepo.

A large portion of Pentecostal church services in Africa is usually dedicated to the ‘collection of offerings’ and reports of pastors taking money in exchange for ‘prayers and prophecy’ are rampant.

News and views about the flamboyant lifestyle of African ‘men of God’ dominate gossip sites and social media, with pastors often competing to ‘the richest list’ as if material assets somehow equalled spiritual validity.

While many African believers have been vocal in their of Hinn’s announcement on Facebook (albeit some doubting its sincerity), most pastors have been conspicuously silent.

“Nigerian and African ‘pastorprenuers’, Benny Hinn has told you the bitter truth,”opined Otunba Oliseh on Facebook. “Stop collecting illegal money from your Church !”

“Benny is finally coming to the light! I believe he is watching TB Joshua – one of the only African preachers I know who makes it clear the Gospel is not for sale,”penned Kato Gabakaiwe from Botswana.

Others called on Hinn to back up his ‘repentance’ with ‘restitution’. “If Benny Hinn is genuinely rejecting the prosperity gospel, he needs to do what Zacchaeus did and pay back anyone he has cheated out of their money,”wrote Rich Colon, an African-American, on Twitter.

While Benny’s recent turnaround is indeed commendable, it appears the damage is done to the African church as the manipulative teachings he once championed will not be quickly undone.

There are indeed genuine ministers of the Gospel in Africa but those who prey on the gullible with a focus on financial incentives are likely to be unmoved by Hinn’s remorse, lest their ‘business’ suffers additional loss.

After news was widely circulated that a Sierra Leonean government official was ‘sacked’ following her testimony at T.B. Joshua’s church in Nigeria, the Nigerian cleric has responded by releasing a video of the lady’s controversial testimony.

International media outlets such as CNN reported the story of Mrs Fatmata Edna Kargbo, the Chief Protocol Officer of Sierra Leone’s President Julius Maada Bio, whose testimony of ‘God’s blessings in her life’ after visiting Joshua’s church in Lagos, Nigeria, sparked public concern in Sierra Leone.

Kargbo was invited for questioning by Sierra Leone’s Anti-Corruption Commission after insinuations were rife at the speed of her apparent rise in wealth.

However, Joshua’s television channel, Emmanuel TV, released the video of Kargbo’s actual testimony, which she shared on Sunday 21stJuly 2019.

According to Kargbo, after visiting The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) – “the house I constructed for 10 years without finishing – in exactly 14 years, I was able to complete it through the grace of God!”

This contradicts the narrative implied by most media reports that the Sierra Leonean politician amassed excessive finances within the short timeframe of her appointment as Bio’s Chief Protocol Officer in April 2018.

The clip released on Emmanuel TV also paints Kargbo as a patriotic figure who championed the cause of her nation during the deadly Ebola outbreak in the nation in 2014.

A letter from then President Dr Ernest Bai Koroma to Joshua, requesting his assistance in the nation to battle the deadly virus, is revealed, alongside a donation of $50,000 to Sierra Leone and 4,000 bottles of ‘Anointing Water’ to help curb the spread of the disease.

Kargbo reveals she personally received the gifts from Joshua – which were sent in a private jet chartered to the tune of $50,000 – and ensured they reached the affected areas, claiming that the regions where the ‘water’ reached were later declared Ebola free.

Although most media reports claimed Kargbo had been ‘sacked’ from her job, a statement from the presidential office indicated she had only been placed on leave pending the outcome of the corruption investigation.

It appears the last has not been heard of the saga surrounding Bisola Johnson, her credibility and the contentious accusations she levelled against Pastor T.B. Joshua.

Surprising new footage has emerged from an American-Ghanaian businessman unveiling evidence of fraud perpetrated by Johnson – an ex-worker at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) – and a male accomplice named Theo.

In a video published to YouTube, Stephen Amponsem narrated how Johnson – who has been in the news for her public accusations against Joshua in the wake of the COZA rape scandal – defrauded him to the tune of $2,000.

“Bisola lied to me to get money from me and my wife. She’s been lying to many other people,” he insisted, before explaining the circumstances that led to his encounter with Johnson.

Amponsem revealed that a mental breakdown intertwined with spiritual attacks led him to abandon his home in Los Angeles, USA and left him ‘roaming the streets’ of Nigeria.

“There was no solution; doctors could not help. I went through all the country,” Stephen explained, adding that he finally resolved to visit The SCOAN following a surreal ‘spiritual’ attack.

“A woman – a spiritual woman – knocked at my door at 1am… She started to become a snake all over. She told me, ‘You can go to all churches around but don’t go to The Synagogue. That encouraged me to go to the church,” he revealed.

Footage dated back to 1996 then shows his encounter with a markedly younger Joshua. “I have a spiritual wife. Every night, I see her,” Amponsem is heard frantically complaining to the cleric who proceeds to pray for him after which he falls to the ground.

According to Amponsem, the prayer was followed by a strange encounter in the dream where his ‘spiritual wife’ reneged all with him after his visit ‘to that church’.

Returning to USA and reconciling with his Jamaican wife, Stephen’s sanity was fully restored and his business ventures soon prospered after this ‘deliverance’.

Explaining the involvement of Johnson, who now identifies herself as ‘Evangelist Theresa Hephzi-bah Johnson’ on social media, Amponsem revealed he met her during a visit to The SCOAN.

“One day, Bisola called me from Nigeria and said a young man named Theo would be coming to Los Angeles and we should entertain him,” he explained.

Unbeknownst to the Amponsems, Johnson had severed ties with Joshua and left his ministry at this time.

After welcoming Theo – under the impression he was d with The SCOAN – Stephen gave him $2,000 of “financial ” for Emmanuel TV and two new suits as a personal gift for Joshua, requesting he give them to Bisola.

In a subsequent phone call with Johnson, she confirmed she had received the gifts and handed them over to The SCOAN.

Upon learning the resources were in fact never received by Joshua and Johnson had left the ministry in contentious circumstances, Amponsem was understandably irate.

“She is a 419 (fraudster) who is making money out of lying,” he asserted, speaking in the presence of several foreign ‘business partners’.

The clip ended with footage of Mr and Mrs Amponsem’s visit to the White House as a special guest of then US President George W Bush where they were honoured for their community contributions.

“I will never forget Pastor T.B. Joshua,”Stephen emotionally concluded. “Without his anointing and his ministry, I would be a crazy person begging on the streets of Los Angeles or Nigeria.”

Johnson has levelled several accusations against Joshua although footage released by Emmanuel TV revealed she had returned to the church on several occasions previously to retract her ‘false statements’ which she attributed to ‘irrational behaviour’.

2019 AFCON: What Prophet T.B Joshua told me before Algeria vs Nigeria clash – Super Eagles coach

Imama Amapakabo, the Assistant Coach to Nigeria’s Super Eagles, has revealed the call he received from the founder and General Overseer of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, Prophet T.B. Joshua on the eve of Nigeria’s Semi Final encounter between Algeria at the just concluded African Cup Of Nations, AFCON, in Egypt.

Amapakabo, who is also in charge of Nigeria’s U-23 National Team, disclosed that the prominent Nigerian cleric told him that whoever wins the encounter would go on to take the coveted trophy.

Algeria defeated the Super Eagles of Nigeria 2-1 in the semi-final and went on to beat Senegal 1-0 to claim the trophy in Cairo last night.

“Got a call from Prophet T.B. Joshua on the eve of our game against Algeria and he prophesied that we should play that game as the finals – in other words, whoever wins the game wins the cup,” the former Enugu Rangers and El Kanemi Warriors boss wrote on his personal Facebook .

“And true to his words, it came to ,” he added.

It was the second triumph for the Desert Foxes at the AFCON, following their victory against Nigeria 29 years ago in 1990.

Translation of the Parable =

1. Pray for your President he is a man: He has been tried and found wanting because he is imperfect as all men are.

2. I saw a Seraphim come down from heaven: The Seraphims are the Angels of Judgement, they stand before the Lord constantly saying 'Holy Holy Holy is the Lord' their eyes do not behold any form of unholiness/inequity and their judgement is swift, hence when there's no negotiation, when the judgement is final/settled a Seraph is sent to execute it e.g a Seraph was placed at the entrance to the garden of Eden bearing a sword that swings this way and that way. Cherubims on the other hand are the Angels of mercy, Seraphs have no mercy.

3. The Seraph came down with rain: Rain could symbolise blessing e.g showers of blessings, it could also symbolise trouble e.g raining cats and dogs, in either case, the rain symbolises acceleration of events whether good or bad.

4. After the rain, there was freshness and calmness: Freshness is a renewal, something new, a change from the old order after which there was calmness I.e. peace.

This lets me know that an irreversible judgement has been made concerning Buhari hence Seraphs were sent to execute it not Cherubs; the execution of the judgement shall be swift like the falling of rain; it shall usher in a new order of things (is this a coup?) after which the whole land shall be calm.

I dono if the judgement is good or bad but either way, I advise Buhari to put his house in order, this judgement is non negotiable.

For years, people living in the United Kingdom have waited for the opportunity to have a direct encounter with the world-acclaimed Prophet, Televangelist and Philanthropist, Temitope Balogun Joshua, popularly known as T.B. Joshua.

The reason for this agitation is not far-fetched. In the past two decades, the powerful Man of God, founder of the popular Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) has taken the gospel to the far and near reaches of our globe, creating amazing Christian revivals in such far-flung places as Mexico, Indonesia, Colombia, Peru, South Korea, Paraguay and Dominican Republic, amongst others.

During these revivals, incontrovertible works of amazing Christian miracles have been performed with millions from those lands being helped into personal and collective experiences of freedom and deliverance. Reports from these nations have indicated that people have enjoyed new leases of life. And so massive were those revivals that whole stadia and huge arenas have always been filled by enthusiasts earnestly yearning for life transformations.

Beyond Christian evangelism, T.B. Joshua’s ministry, using the powerful medium of its Emmanuel TV channel, watched worldwide, have engaged in massive works of philanthropy, bringing financial and material succor to downtrodden people in many areas of the world hitherto untouched by Christian charity.

For its great, amazing Christian revivals and humanitarian works, T.B Joshua has been in high demand all over the world, with individuals, organisations and entities sending emissaries to the ministry’s headquarters in Nigeria to urge Joshua to visit their various lands.

Through these years, news emanating from the UK, with a wide cosmopolitan populace, indicate that countless UK residents have been yearning for similar revivals in the British Isles and nearby territories.

Well, the people of UK do not need to yearn any longer! News originating from the Ikotun, Lagos Nigeria World Headquarters of The SCOAN indicate that preparations are in top gear for the visit of Emmanuel TV to the UK come June, 2019.
The International Evangelist and Christian Miracle Worker is expected to lead a high-powered team to the UK for a Grand Revival, the kind of which the UK has never witnessed. Tagged “The Emmanuel TV UK Revival”, reports from across Europe indicate that this event is the top buzz among UK residents.

Scheduled to hold on Saturday, June 1, at the FlyDSA ARENA in Sheffield, UK, the revival is already attracting nationwide interest. Given the pedigree of such revivals by Prophet T. B Joshua around the world, conventional wisdom suggests that the UK Edition would also be very explosive and filled with breathtaking miracles in the name of Jesus Christ.

Registration has begun. According to the Church’s media offices, prospective visitors to the revival are encouraged to freely on the church’s website.

Doors of the Revival Venue are scheduled to be opened at 12 noon while the event itself is scheduled to start at 2pm. Another interesting part of this revival, according to church bulletins, is that gate and parking are ABSOLUTELY FREE. Organizers have also ensured attendees of adequate security while urging all and sundry to abide by the announced schedules.

The UK has always yearned for T.B. Joshua. The wait, obviously, is over.

Vikramjeet Singh, an Indian who was brought up in a devout Sikh family, has shared on Facebook how the videos of Nigerian Prophet T.B. Joshua on Emmanuel TV changed his life and faith!

Singh, who hails from Faridabad, the largest city in the north Indian state of Haryana, said despite his religious upbringing, he wasn’t particularly “spiritual or connected to God through Sikhi” until some challenges he encountered caused him to probe deeper.

“As time ed, I encountered some problems which made me think about who is God. From that day, I started searching for God in my own religion Sikhism.”

According to Vikramjeet, he religiously read the Sikh Scriptures known as ‘Guru Granth Sahib’ in his search for solace. “I used to do go to the temple daily and do seva (acts of selfless service)as well but none of these changed my problems; they even became worse,” he wrote.

“Then I started searching for God in other religions as well. I chanted Hanuman Chalisa (a Hindu hymn) and read many spiritual books. I even went to a mosque but didn't find peace,” Singh continued.

His search for help led him to YouTube where the Indian typed into the search bar, ‘miracles from God’ in his quest for meaning.

“I found a video named ‘TB Joshua Healing People In Jesus Name,’ Singh explained, referring to a clip from the popular Christian station Emmanuel TV based in Lagos, Nigeria.

“I saw the complete video and he cured a man who had cancer. He healed him completely and I said to myself, ‘What have I just seen?’”

Singh was shocked at what he witnessed and decided to delve deeper, watching countless more videos of miracles on Emmanuel TV online.

“I saw more videos of TB Joshua where he was healing HIV patients, people with tumours, cancer etc. I thought, ‘If this man can heal people in Jesus’ name, perhaps Jesus can help me too.’

The remarkable footage he witnessed demonstrated power he had never previously seen and soon became the catalyst for an incredible change in his life.

“After that, I started searching for people who pray for people in Jesus' name in India. I found a pastor who prayed for me. I was in hurry to get healed but didn't know that Jesus had something even bigger for me,” Singh continued.

The more interested he grew in Christianity, the more the message of Jesus began to resonate within him.

“As time ed, they started telling me that Jesus died for my sins but He never sinned. That word punctured my heart! I thought, ‘Why would someone else die for my mistakes, for my sins?’ On that day, I asked for forgiveness and mercy from Jesus.”

Ever since that decision, Vikramjeet Singh’s life radically transformed. “Trust me - He gave me the peace which I was searching for! That peace showed me that Jesus is the true God.”

The Indian is now sharing his testimony in the hope that others too will be inspired to learn from his own experiences.

“Be smart and make Jesus your Lord and Saviour today,” he advised. “You never know when your time will come. Hell and Heaven is real and Jesus is the only way to Heaven!”

Emmanuel TV is the world’s most watched Christian ministry channel on YouTube, with over 1.2 million subscribers. Singh’s moving testimony was subsequently shared on T.B. Joshua’s official Facebook page.

In the Old Testament days of the Holy Bible, prophets were alter egos of monarchs. Kings ruled all right but it was almost at the behest of powerful prophets. The crown necessarily had to derive enough moral and spiritual authority from the prevailing prophet. A king would neglect the divine counsel of a leading prophet at his own peril.

But there is probably no headier aphrodisiac than monarchy in its power and glory. As the Bible regales us, it is the ethereal wisdom of Prophet Nathan that brings rampaging David back to earth. Nathan approaches David and says, oh wise King, there were two men, in a city, one extremely rich with exceeding large herds and the other dirt poor with only one little lamb. But alas, the rich fellow upped and snatched the poor man’s only possession to prepare meal for his stranger. King David was wrath with great anger. As the Lord liveth, such an evil one must surely die, he pronounced.

And Prophet Nathan said to King David: “You are the man!” And the wise prophet proceeds to lay it thick on the now broken crown: Thus says the Lord, I anointed you king, delivered you from your enemies, gave you your master’s house; even your master’s wives and the house of Israel and Juddah. If these were not enough, I would have given you even more. But you had to commit such evil by killing your captain, Uriah and taking his wife. David is crushed by contrition.

Such was the power of prophets. In pursuit of David, King Saul wipes out an entire commune of prophets, and never did the bible record a woman viler than Jezebel. The great Prophet Elijah is saddled to confront King Ahab and his bloodthirsty wife Jezebel, after she framed up and had Naboth executed in order to possess his land. Murderous Jezebel also hounded numerous prophets to their gruesome end.

Prophets where somewhat universal to many ancient faiths. But over the ages, and with the coming of the Messiah, prophets apparently became outdated in the celestial scheme of things. Every man is now equipped with his own ‘prophet’; the Holy Spirit, according to Christian teaching.

In today’s Nigeria however, a certain Prophet TB Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) remains redoubtable. The man in the Synagogue is sought after from all over the world. He is not only more known than many leaders, he makes and unmakes leaders.

Today, a five-year-old kidnapping tangle-knot that may have defied the government of the land is now before Prophet TB, as a last resort somewhat. The agonizing parents of Chibok and Dapchi girls explain: “We decided to come to TB Joshua because we have seen him on TV and we see how he works miracles and helps people. If it is our fault that these things are happening, let him pray for us.” A prophet to the rescue?

Leah Sharibu: TB Joshua calls for three days prayer, fasting as Chibok, Dapchi representatives pray for release of Leah Sharibu at Synagogue Lagos

Representatives of Chibok in Borno and Dapchi in Yobe on Sunday sought spiritual help at The Synagogue, the Church of All Nations, at Ikotun-Egbe, Lagos to pray for the release of Leah Sharibu and other students kidnapped by Boko Haram.

The representatives who carried several placards told the General Overseer, Prophet Temitope Joshua, that they were at The Synagogue because they had exhausted all human efforts to get the students released.

A spokesman of the representatives told Prophet Joshua that the father of Leah Sharibu could not come with them because he had been bedridden by stroke, as a result of the kidnap of her daughter. He said they had been watching his ministry through Emmanuel Television (the church’s cable TV) and all the help he had rendered to the sick and the less privileged, hence their t visit to plead for intercessory prayers for the release of the students.

The spokesman said they had no doubt that with the approval of Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God could trigger the release of the remaining students kidnapped in 2014 and 2018. Prophet Joshua told them that there was nothing impossible in the sight of the Creator of Heaven and Earth.

He urged the congregation and viewers of Emmanuel Television worldwide to pray and fast on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, this week, for the release of the remaining students. He said that “there is nothing God cannot do” and urged all to see the prayer and fasting on the mentioned days as an assignment. Some of the placards read: Please intercede on our behalf for the release of Leah Sharibu

The remaining 112 students kidnapped in Chibok are yet to be released, please help, among others. On April 14, 2014, 276 female students were kidnapped from the Government Secondary School, Chibok in Borno State. Responsibility for the kidnappings was claimed by Boko Haram, an extremist terrorist organization based in northeastern Nigeria.

Since 2014, 164 of the students had regained their freedom, while 112 are still held by Boko Haram. Also on Feb. 19, 2018, no fewer than 110 schoolgirls were kidnapped by the Boko Haram terrorist group from the Government Girls’ Science and Technical College (GGSTC), Dapchi, located in Bulabulin, Yunusari Local Government area of Yobe State. One hundred and nine of the students were released, except Leah Sharibu, who was said to have refused to denounce Christianity. (NAN)

Prophet TB Joshua has given a “prophetic warning” to the President Muhammadu Buhari government concerning the handling of “inconclusive elections” in the country.

“The (Nigerian) government should be cautious of the way they go about inconclusive elections,” Joshua told congregants.

“This can be an open door for Satan. You know satan kills, steals and destroys,” he continued, calling for urgent prayers for the nation.

“Pray for the nation, Nigeria – for peace and harmony, for understanding and wisdom,” said the cleric, leading his congregation at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) in prayer.

Supplementary elections are currently being held in Kano, Sokoto, Plateau, Benue, Bauchi and Adamawa – with unfortunate reports of violence and voter intimidation, especially in Kano – corroborating the urgency of the prophet’s warning.

"Let me now come to the politics here. African leaders should quickly arrest the political situation. Politics will not be business as usual. You know, everybody wants to be a politician. You run to this because of money; you invest your money on it. It's not going to work like that - unless you are called to the job. When you are called, you cannot resist; you cannot say, "No". If God calls you, you cannot stop running. If it is your calling to run, you will find yourself running. You are not going to run because of money because of love for it, you are called for it. So, it's not business as usual. Whatever you spend in elections, it will only earn you good name; you cannot get any profit from it. If you collect money and expect to return it back, you cannot get it returned. So, therefore, it's not business again..." (Sunday 22nd May 2016)

"There has been a great mix-up in the church. It is the erroneous assumption that spiritual truths can be intellectually perceived." - T.B. Joshua
