I honestly want to switch to programming as in carrier change, considering that I am 40, can I still make it giving every input I put in.
Yes you can. Provided you want to practice it for the next 5 to 10 years.
Anyone can learn programming in a few weeks/months. But it will take months/years to be good at it.
You need a lot of hours to build up, fix bugs and improve your codes to become good.
Yes you can switch at 40. And yes you can turn it to a new career.

Ladies and Gents in the house; I’m fvcked! Computer science is a wonderful course home and abroad. The good thing is I’m good at logic and maths but computer science wasn’t the course I aspired for in my secondary school days. After trying for the second time I was itted into Computer science department in FUTO. Ever since then, I feel frustrated. I’m currently on a 3.51CGPA but That’s because I’m a very hardworking student. I know about different branches of my course but the problem is I don’t know what I need to learn, I don’t love the course, I only believe I’m here for a purpose which I don’t know yet. I’ve researched online and I understand “Software development” is the most lucrative, but we know Our beloved country always has a different approach to everything.
Dear sir/ma,
If you have read to this point I believe you have an experience in this field. Please give some advise That will help me make the decision for my career.
Best regards,
Nnadychuks
If you want to build a career in CS, and you are interested/excited about software development, learn about blockchain development.
Precisely learn about developing on smart contract platforms. Building decentralized applications (dapps)
Research about Ethereum and/or tezos blockchain. They are two interesting platforms.

Almost every first and second year student in public universities.
You have five minutes to run from one hall to another.
The five minutes is because the next lecturer won't start by 9am.

Online poll cannot reflect the mind of the people. What % of the citizens have access to electricity, smartphones, down to Twitter app?
How many citizens on Twitter follows their handle?
À far greater % is out there and needs daily income.

If as a man, in this generation, you don't know that marrying a virgin lady is the only way to avoid infidelity in your home, then be prepared to die young as a husband.
A woman who got married a VIRGIN can NEVER cheat so long as you are still sexually active as a husband, I keep saying this over and over again with authority.
She will NEVER cheat! You don't expect a non-virgin lady who has tasted all kinds and sizes of preeeq, styles of sex and other sexual related experiences to stick to your sexual prowess alone just like that. You don't!
Men should open their eyes and save themselves the stress and problems of infidelity. Go for virgins if you want a peaceful marriage.
And why should women marry men who are not virgins and have been with different ladies in different positions?
Hypocrisy!!!

How please say more about it
In IT, you could learn how to use some tools for data analytics/management, machine learning, and big data - tableau, power bi, aws, Microsoft azure, etc
When yu know enough to render your services, on Fiverr, upwork, freelance, etc
Yu could also start by visiting the freelance websites and seeing the trend and what interests you. Then go to udemy and grab the courses (yu can get the courses on sale at $9.99). On edx dot org, just audit the courses.
IT is very lucrative, but you need to put in the effort. Anyone can find a niche in IT. who knows from freelancing, yu can even get remote jobs.
In IT, skills can be roughly divided into programming languages or tools/software - Should you learn R, python, Matlab, Java, Scala vs learning Microsoft azure or aws or rapid miner?
There are a few threads here on Nairaland that discuss freelancing. Also use Google to do your research and make your plans.
Goodluck

What kind of skill can I learn from udemy
One you think is useful for any new venture, photography, business, IT, etc...
Considering the thread topic, I was referring to a skill that can be used to offer freelance services online.
Freelancing online can be more profitable than the average job in Nigeria.

if you hear some brithish scotish, irish, welsh and even uneducated local english man speak english then you would understand that Nigerians are better in speaking english
.
Found another site that says Nigeria is 29th.
It's hard to tell. Educated vs uneducated African-britsh-english speakers will have different varieties.
I'm Nigerian and I've heard both Nigerians and ghanians speak great English.

No bro,its not about the sex... I just love this girl.. I know myself if I should get angry once it's over , but the girl has a lot of good attributes in her. I'm just trying to do everything to make her come back to her senses.
Really? Do you think she lost her senses by meeting someone else who has captivated her, and is currently keeping her interested.
Look inward Sir, before venturing into a new Romance (that's if you end up moving on)

I really need advice on this..
I asked this lady out back then in 2015 and she turned me down completely without any reasonable excuse...
Now she is in the university studying and today while we were chatting, she told me she is seriously broke that i should help her with money!!
If i were you will you help her
I think helping someone should be a selfless act. Not because of sth they did or didn't, or who they are or aren't.

My brother some guys get issue.
No lady will ever tell me she did this or that for me.
I wash my clothes right from school. I cook my meals or I eat out! I don't even like ladies cooking or washing clothes for me.
And today, washing machine is affordable. There are wash and spin machines of 40,000naira.
I arrange and clean my house. Also, there are vacuum cleaners for easy home cleaning and manual dust moppers too.
If u want to form man of the house, hire a housekeeper,I used to have one in the past until I was advised to stop for my safety, I use to pay her 20,000naira.
These things are cheap now.
Your wife or girlfriend shouldn't be your slave or househelp.
You should be more concerned about her looking hot and young instead of using stress and house chores to kill her lol
This op rant, me I no this one
Great quality of life. No stress to you or someone else.
Everyone can only control themselves. The moment you try to control others, all types of negative stress happens.

I could say the opposite. Find the person that has what you want . Simple!
The Western mentality is detrimental to africam women and is ruining lots of relationships!
Smiles. Western mentality detrimental to African women? The earlier we start looking inward (Nigerians, Africans), the better we'll be. Let's take the good ideals from the west or east.
Slavery in all forms is bad. Emotional, mental and physical.

My neigbor got married to a woman that is financially and academically ahead of him yes they started with love at initial stage she did everything possible to make sure the man suceed i mean everything she sacrify evrytn kudos to her, but the problem now is how the woman talks to the husband with no atom of respect she goes around telling people what she has done for the man to the extent her friends no longer see the man as anything .. The one that pains me was the day she told the man to go and dish out food for himself even in my presence, wen the man try to force her my dear come see insult from how she feed him to how she made him who he is,just because the man ask her to go and bring his food even dou the man is working now but stil the woman stil look down on him.. The worst she stil call the man by his name . The man is talking about bringing another woman that wil respect him as The man of the house.. This is a big lesson without money i dnt think you can control a nigerian woman .

Crazy Macho mentality.
What's the meaning of "Man of the house"?
Why can't he serve himself? Or even cook himself?
What's wrong with calling him by his name? Is his name not to be called?
This entitlement mentality is detrimental to some African men, and is destroying relationships.
