GEJ is on a self-destruct mission! Even with his so-called PhD degree, he is yet to realize that Wike is doing him more harm than good. barcanista: If you check my post history you will know that I've been a pro-gej and "kind of anti-amaechi". But that began to changed after the Stella-gate. Truly Anti-gej sentiment in Rivers is growing, his govt presence has not been realy felt like Amaechi's. The way the police haunt Amaechi is too unbecoming. But I'm watching closely on who APC will present as Guber Candidate. As for the Presidency, GEJ will still win Rivers but the margin may reduce slightly. |

OP, it is obvious that your wife is ignorant about business and cannot manage anything. How could she be doling out money at the expense of her shop growth? Your wife failed to realize that she will be in a better position to help her parents the more successful she/you become. Just ignore her when she runs down the shop again, her eyes and that of her parents will clear by force. Meanwhile, having known the kind of wife/in-laws you have, you have to review how you manage your family finance and investments asap or else you will be messed up big time.

OBJ may be crude, tactless, with many moral frailties; yet he is a far better leader compared to GEJ. ceo4eva: [b] Just within a space of 3 days, OBJ, Tambuwal and Sanusi have all indicted the President of Massive Looting and Unabated Corruption. 1 Like |

GEJ advisers are just so dumb. How can they allow him to fritter away all the goodwill he has enjoyed thus far just because of Amaechi? GEJ should be mindful of the fact that the anarchy being promoted in Rivers State could be reenacted at the National Assembly too. What is going on is a dangerous precedent, and I just hope that GEJ and the sycophants surrounding him will not destroy the little democratic progress we have made as a country.

How will any sane mind say that GEJ is our own Mandela? Kai, Dr. Okupe has just taken sycophancy to a new level!

ASUU is now a big joke….an organization made up many unproductive lecturers. Revamping the universities is not the sole responsibility of the government, these lecturers should contribute too. How? In the West, reputable academics purchase equipment, hire research and student assistants from grants obtained from companies and organizations. In fact, in some universities research grant portfolio and publications are the key determinants for promotion. In Nigeria, some of these lecturers do zero research, deliver archaic/poorly developed lectures and yet they want to be remunerated at par with their colleagues abroad. Honestly, some of the major proponents of this strike thing have no business being in the university. It beats my imagination how university dons with a plethora of things to do can afford to stay away from their duty post for 5 months! Given the way the Nigerian universities are presently constituted, no improvement will be happening soon even if the government/private sector invests one trillion dollars there. It is about time the government, parents and students should make these eggheads able. Enough of this nonsense, there should be a yearly or biannual evaluation system for teaching and research competency for lecturers in place. All those found unproductive after each evaluation cycle should be kicked out. 1 Like |

It is now obvious that Clara has serious health problem. Governor Chime should liaise with his in-laws and put an end to this drama.

I am not from Anambra, but as an Igbo man, i am certainly interested in the politics of the state. This is because, if democracy and good governance is entrenched in Ananmbra it will serve as a template for the other states in the Southeast. So, from the videos and other information about the candidates on the internet; i am very much impressed with Obiano's profile. It is unbelievable that Ifeanyi Ubah will even be aspiring to govern Anambra state when he nearly ran his personal business aground. Or is he planning to use the state's federal allocation and internally generated revenue to prop up his tottering business empire? Just listening to him speak, it is apparent that this guy has little or no education at all. With the plethora of educated people in the state, Ifeanyi Uba aspiring to be the governor of Anambra state is a joke taken too far. I am not a fan of Chris Ngige; never was, and never will be for the following reasons: He is amoral, a man without any iota of integrity. Ngige was not the only person approached by Chris Ubah in 2003, but he readily jumped at the offer because of his desperation for power. A christian who did not find taking an oath at a shrine reprehensible, can do anything to have his way. Who knows what agreement he has already signed with his new don, Tinubu. Of course, his doublespeak during the recent Lagos deportation saga shows vintage Ngige, and where his allegiance lies for now. A question for those canvassing for Ngige; given his antecedents, will you entrust your personal business to him? 2 Likes |

You are very correct; that was what helped PDP's Andy Uba to win the last senatorial election. I guess APGA is ready for them this time around. Kei144: APGA doesn't want PDP to beat them in the game. This has been PDP's game plan; field two candidates in the name of factionalism. ers of the two candidates will vote (seemingly) for their candidates; but all the votes are actually for PDP. PDP wins and the court (seemingly) settles which of the two candidates will go. APGA wants to do the same thing. |

Nawaa for people....rather than insults, the credentials of Chief Obiano should be discussed. His antecedents? Is he a man of integrity? Is he capable of withstanding the turbulent Anambra politics? Before Peter Obi became the Governor, not much was known about him; so, there is a possibility that Chief Obiano may turn out to be a blessing for Anambra state.

It is unbelievable that in 2013, this kind of nonsense is still going on. With these bizarre cut-off marks for northern students, what manner of secondary/university graduates are we expecting?

Check out reasoning! So because Ifeanyi Ubah has a gubernatorial ambition, he should not meet his obligations to Access Bank and his partners? Sealeddeal: Alot of people here are actually without brains.Who do u guys know is Ifeanyi Uba? This is not Chris Uba nor Senator Andy Uba.he is neither their brother.Ifeany Uba entered business and luckily get into Oil and gas business. He did business with Coscharis like every other person will.Coscharis may need something be done but why are they threatening him and taken his case to london court? Why have Coscharis not say about it until now Ifeanyi Uba decided to contest governorship election? Why is it after Ifeany Uba slapped Emeka Offor that all these allegation start? How many of you know anambra state and what happens there in? Ifeanyi Uba have not been convicted of any crime. Maduka(Coscharis) is a great Nnewi criminal.go to nnewi and ask, everybody know him for what he did before he ran to lagos.Maduka(coscharis) should be the last person to mention 'fraud' in his life. What u guys are watching is anambra politics and i want u to understand it that way.this issue wil persist till after 2014 election, then the whole issue will die down.what Coscharis /Peter Obi/Emeka offor, want to do is to give him work that will take down his money, destroy his business, tarnish his image so as to destroy his aspiration for anambra seat.Ofcourse, now,Ifeanyi Uba is the strongest force in APGA and its his issue thats tearing APGA down in anambra because Peter Obi favours another person while Victor Umeh favours Ifeany Uba.This is just politics and u guys should stop talking nonsense except if u are a player in anambra politics working for ur master. Ifeanyi Uba is not from Uba family in Uga.he is from Nnewi. So have ur eyes open now. |
