The author is clearly writing with a slant. To call an Asaba Man "2nd Class" Igbo is a bold faced lie. It tarnishes anything he has to offer. Trust is hard to earn and doubt is even harder to shake. Understanding this man is an alleged educated professor molded the minds of the young gives me little to no hope for our future. He's a disappointment a man. People like him should be condemned.

Topsic70: Sorry for the late response. I haven't been on here much lately. How am I honestly supposed to know what equipment he purchased? The initial assertion was that he didn't build hospitals. Now it's that they can't contain a pandemic. I'm not a fan of any of our politicians; Especially the SE & SS Igbo politicians. They have wasted time, lives, resources and looted to their hearts content. Still and all the truth is always true. To say he didn't build when he did is untrue. We all know the hospitals aren't world class. I'm not congratulating him at doing what he was elected to do. Just calling a spade a spade. |

ashacot: “Talking about signature project, Obi has them in abundance. He built over 30 bridges, built the State Secretariat, built the teaching hospital, built the permanent site of the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu University, rebuilt Iyienu, Borromeo hospitals, Holy Rosary and St Joseph hospitals; and Our Lady of Lourdes among many hospitals with signature structures dotting them. Only fools and children trust these reports. Anyone who lived through this knows the rigging that took place in 99. That's why I laugh when people talk about the SE & SS being PDP. Diezani rigged the 2015 elections with money. APGA would have made some inroads into the region but they get rigged out at the ballot and the courts. |

From 711-1492 Black Africans colonized the Iberian Peninsula. There is a book on the subject The Golden Age of the Moor by Dr. Ivan Van Sertima. ![]() If you want to go further back into our history as a Black Race. Ancient Kemet had vassal territories that extended into Eurasia. The term "Armageddon" comes from the Battle of Megido where the Black African King Thutmose III layed seige to Canaan. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Megiddo_(15th_century_BC)#Battle_and_siege https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thutmose_III There are other examples but those are just a few. "When the early Europeans first met Africans, at the crossroads of history, it was a respectful meeting and the Africans were not slaves. Their nations were old before Europe was born" Dr. John Henrik Clarke |

CeterisXVII: Dem no gree. They think power won't concentrate even further into the hands of the already rich. The only thing keeping the wolves at bay is the other 5 regions. If people want to be taken seriously just win elections. In the East no politician has the man power nor goodwill of IPOB. If they go political they can sweep every election from ward, lg chairmen & state assembly to governors, house of reps & senators. There is no secession clause. The UN doesn't like Africans. They won't come to our rescue. We have to save ourselves. Begging white folks for self determination ain't gon get it done. But what do I know? I'm just a nobody on Nairaland. ![]() 1 Like |

felaismyhero: Ideally, I'd create a new a party with like minded individuals from home and abroad. These already formed parties have too many factions and baggage. Kowa is a diamond in the rough though. They really need to tap into the frustrated and educated youth in the country. Kowa only pops up at election time. I'm surprised they are more actively playing opposition politics. They could really put PDP & APC's feet to the fire since they are the only parties that have been at the wheel steering us no where. Even winning LG chairmen elections or state assembly seats could go a long way. Everyone thinks governor & president are the only important slots. State assemblies can impeach an unfit governor like Rochas. Kowa and other small parties need to stop wasting money fielding presidential candidates. Just find a state and take it over. Then spread into the rest of the region then country. Moghalu, Sowore, etc are fighting a losing battle trying to go national without a grassroots structure/machine. 1 Like |

felaismyhero: Eventually but I'm "too young to run" as it stands and I don't have the war chest nor reach to execute a campaign for anyone else. The "plan" is to get involved within the next decade. I'm just getting the strategy and means together. How about yourself? |

felaismyhero: From all indications he's an academic but not much of a practical man. To be such a historian he sure is overly optimistic about Nigeria to his own detriment. There's no thug in him and he's too much of a gentleman. Around that time much of the PDP block went home so maybe he figured the ACN and C factions were above internal rigging. He probably couldn't see that Oshiomole is brute and Osinbajo & the Jagaban Block are snakes. You said it my friend. APC & PDP are the thing and both are leading us to doom. The major players, godfathers & politicians in this country only want to get as big of a slice of the National Cake as they can. So they can take it overseas and watch as we suffer and toil for scraps. The sad thing is that if you put most people in position they would maintain status quo and do the same. Until us commoners and working class people control government from the ward & LG level we have no chance of ever getting anything reasonable at the federal & state level. I don't know which way we are going but I know it ain't to victory. Some things have to change and fast. Time is running out. |

felaismyhero: Before he got with APC? Not to my knowledge. I imagine he didn't want to get assassinated by Ibori and co. And just this year Baba Osho rigged him out at the primaries this last election. http://www.citypeopleonline.com/how-i-was-rigged-out-of-delta-apc-primaries-prof-pat-utomi-gives-a-blow-by-blow-/ As long as the Ibori Dynasty has their hands on Delta's steering wheel the state will never get quality governance. |

Cantonese: Nah I'm not from Delta. I'm from East Bank Anioma. ONITSHA! But I have a home in Asaba. If he won he would have been leading the revolution by example. Which is what he's been canvassing for years. He is an erudite and world roknowned professor of business with a reputation to protect. That makes him leaps and bounds better than Okowa who is an Ibori Boy and perennial failure. His choice in political alignment is one of those things that has been a head scratcher. Why he can't figure it out beats me. 1 Like |

tiredoflife: I never wished for PMB. I just wanted better than GEJ. Delta has been plagued by thugs and killers parading as politicians. Ibori claims to have produced not one but two governors from a jail cell in the UK. Who is he El Chapo? Pat Utomi is leaps and bounds better than the clowns who have plunged one of the most profitable states into debt that won't be cleared for decades with nothing to show. You keep on calling it "ruling" rather than "governance" and you wonder why the executive branch behaves like kings? Get a book and learn something. You're angry at the wrong people and things around you. Peace. 1 Like |
