Anyone who believes this story is a very big fool. LeadersNG has shown their level of non-professionalism all in the name of getting view on their useless blog. They lied about Simi and BankyW working with Buhari and #67millionYouths just for views. Which both artist confirmed it was false. PKM would never forces will a lifeless president. This is PDP's handwork because they've seen PKM as a threat, with his large youth followership. Well they are only adding to his campaign, because people are getting to know him more. PKM is the right man for the job. With all I've heard him say about his plan for this country, he would get my vote. 3 Likes |

It is now being speculated within the music industry in hush tones that DBanj may been shown the exit door at Kanye West’s G.O.O.D Music label which DBanj claims he is still at. According to information gathered from reports and some industry sources, all may not be too well between DBanj and his American boss. ![]() What .com scooped reveals that Kanye was never happy with the split between DBanj and Don Jazzy in early 2012. We gathered that Kanye actually signed Don Jazzy to produce DBanj for his record label, but with the split between them, it was no longer possible for Don Jazzy to perform his obligation of making ‘good’ beats for DBanj. Now that DBanj took a step further to sign J-Sleek as his music producer, what sources in DBanj’s camp reveal to industry sources is that Kanye is not pleased with J-Sleek’s production prowess and he sees DBanj’s new collection of songs as weak. What some tale-bearers are saying now is that Kanye is disappointed at DBanj as his (Kanye)initial quest of storming African music through the duo of former Mohits Records is has been defeated and D’Banj’s new singles are no where match what convinced him to sign on the two African superstars when he signed them in 2011. There are indications that DBanj may consider reconciling with Don Jazzy or lose his deal with Kanye. Though we couldn’t confirm if D’Banj would consider the first option as we were told that his (D’Banj) ego might be a big obstacle is making the first option become a reality. Iyanya who was accused by producer of Nigeria's foremost comedy show, Opa Williams of defrauding him to the tune of N1.7 million, being payment for his performance at "Nite of A Thousand Laughs' shows which held recently in Benin and Port- Harcourt, has reacted to the allegation. Speaking to the press last Tuesday following the allegation, Iyanya denied the arrest of his Manager. He however itted that the police invited them. He said they didn't spend close to 1 hour at the police station before they were allowed to leave. Opa Williams reported Iyanya to the police for allegedly collecting N1.7 million from him to perform at 'Nite of a Thousand Laughs' shows held in Benin and Port Harcourt. Unfortunately, the reigning afro-hip hop act never showed up at any of the shows. Iyanya explained that the reason they couldn't make the Benin and Port Harcourt shows was because they were stuck in traffic while on their way to the venue. "I didn't intentionally refuse to show up at the show. What happened was that Opa ed me to perform at the Benin leg of "Night Of A Thousand Laughs." We agreed for N1.7million but he paid me only N1.5 million, promising to pay the balance of N200,000,00 after the show. Later, he told me that he wanted us to perform in another show at Port Harcourt but he didn't pay me for the Port Harcourt show. "However, I agreed to perform at both shows out of respect I have for Opa and I was in Benin for the show. Unfortunately, while I was on my way to the venue, I got stuck in traffic. That was when I got a call that the show had already ended. Meanwhile, I was scheduled to close the show," Iyanya claimed. Contrary to reports that he was paid N1.7m however, Iyanya said, Opa Williams paid him only N1.5 million, promising to pay the balance of N200,000 after the show he never showed up at. Iyanya said he had since refunded the money to Opa Williams. "Yes, I refunded the money through an Access Bank cheque immediately." "When I couldn't make it to the shows, Opa showed up with some policemen who took us to the police station. And like I said earlier, we didn't spend close to 1 hour at the station. All they asked for was a refund. There and then, I issued a cheque to Opa which was cashed immediately. They didn't detain us. I have since apologised to Opa for missing the shows," Iyanya said. Mobile telephone subscribers on Thursday in Abuja called for a uniform tariff for Short Message Service (SMS) from all telecom operators in the country. The subscribers made the call in separate interviews. Mr David Amachree, who sells cosmetics, said that it was unfair for the operators to be charging differently for SMS from one network to another. Amachree urged the telecom operators to slash the rate of SMS to other networks. "The SMS that we send cost N5 for same network and N15 for other networks. It should go down. It should be uniform for all networks. "They should cut it down to a maximum of N3 or N5 per SMS, it should go down. The population of this country is so large that every one Naira cumulatively turn into millions. "So they are cheating us honestly; the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC ) should sit up and be up to the task in their responsibility,'' Amachree urged. Mrs Victoria Onyebuchi, a primary school teacher, said that SMS should be free to subscribers to serve as value added services for being on a particular network. Onyebuchi also urged NCC to compel the telecom operators to reduce and charge uniform tariffs for all networks in the country. "Why is it that whatever come to Nigeria is always different; they can't do this in other developed countries. Our leaders are not helping us they should try and do something to compel these telecom operators to come down. "Let free SMS be a kind of incentive for subscribers whom the operators make fortunes out of,' ' Onyebuchi said. Miss Halima Yakubu, a student at the University of Abuja, said that the present charge on SMS was hindering text communication betwen students using different networks. "For instance, a student in an emergency situation having just N5 credit in his or her phone cannot send an SMS to a friend using a different network; this is just unfair. Director General of NAFDAC, Dr Paul Orhii | credits: National Agency for Food and Drugs istration and Control has begun a probe into Prof. Isaiah Ibeh’s claim on Tuesday that he had discovered a herbal drug capable of curing AIDS. Reports quoted the Dean of Basic Medical Sciences, University of Benin as saying the drug had undergone “a series of successful tests”. The Director-General of NAFDAC, Dr. Paul Orhii, who addressed a media conference in Abuja on Thursday, said the agency had invited Ibeh to prove his claim. He warned of the public against buying the drug because it had not been subjected to standard scientific protocols. He said the don was wrong going public, saying it was the duty of the Minister of Health, Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu, to make the announcement after tests by NAFDAC. Orhii said the product was never brought to his agency for vetting and neither was it subjected to any institutional scrutiny. He said, “I wish to caution other persons who might want to follow in the footsteps of Prof. Isaiah Ibeh in making public claims for products whose safety and efficiency have not been scientifically proved to desist from such acts . “There is a procedure laid down for determining the efficacy and safety of new medicines and this must be strictly adhered to. “We have started by disassociating ourselves from the so-called cure. We will decide the appropriate sanction. We have invited him for further investigation. If our laws don’t have appropriate punishment for such persons who don’t follow scientific protocols in making such pronouncements, we will review the law and ensure that such does not occur again.” Orhii added, “The agency wishes to state that this herbal drug, which he claimed to have undergone a series of successful tests, has never been presented to NAFDAC for evaluation of efficacy and safety. “This bogus claim of efficacy without following the appropriate procedure for drug evaluation is capable of misleading the public, especially those that have HIV/AIDs infection as there is no known official or scientifically proven cure for HIV/AIDS infection till date. “You may recall that Nigeria was inundated with similar spurious claims in the past when individuals announced cure for HIV/ AIDS, hepatitis and diabetes, which later turned out to be false after thorough investigations. This is usually at the expense of innocent citizens, who have risked their lives, wasted their time and money in search of the elusive cure for their ailments. Nigerians deserve better than to be used as Guinea pigs, no matter how noble the intention of the researcher. “Also recall that in September 2011, NAFDAC arrested the Managing Director of Winners Medical Diagnostics and Research Institute, Dr. Jacob Abdullahi, for dealing in expired medicines claimed to be cure for HIV. “Similarly, in November 2011, one Dr. P.S.A. Bondima Young of Bondima Hepatoviral Centre, Jos was apprehended by NAFDAC for istering uned drugs on patients for the treatment of hepatitis.” Source: http://bookloaded.com |
