UceeGod:
Except if the car is an old one, newer cars don’t normally need engine oil topping in-between service intervals. If you are having regular engine oil shortages in your car, then you need to know where the oil goes as this may indicate a looming engine problem. There are various reasons why the engine oil goes low frequently including high engine temperature, broken seal and gasket, worn out piston rings and valve guides, type of engine, driving style, type of oil used and also leaky oil pan and oil filter.
If the engine temperature does get higher than normal, thermal breakdown of the oil starts and the oil gets thinner thereby making it easier for the oil to get into the combustion chamber, get mixed with fuel and gets burned.
The valve cover protects the cylinder heads and entire engine from oil and water leaks. To do this, it is very important that the valve cover is oil tight. Since most valve covers are made with very thin pieces of metal, they can’t withstand the high pressure from inside especially at high temperatures. Now, to the function of the valve cover is where the valve cover gasket is needed. The valve cover gasket is a molded rubber over a steel carrier or a full rubber molded seal shaped to conform to the valve cover flange to make sure that the valve cover properly seals the cylinder and prevents oil from coming out of the cylinder as the oil flows through. The gasket gets worn out either because of excessive internal engine pressure or old age. The result is an oil leak that may or may not be visible under the car or oil residue on the engine body. Another possible symptom is a smell of burning oil in the enger cabin of the car.
The piston ring seals the combustion chamber from the crankcase while the valve guide s the motion of the valves to seal off the combustion chamber within the valve train. Rings and valve guides do wear out as the car ages, excessive engine wear or poor car maintenance. As this happens, there will be too much clearance between touching surfaces and this will allow oil to get into the combustion chamber where it gets burnt and comes out from the exhaust as a heavy bluish smoke or a mild smoke. If the engine smoke is bluish while increasing engine speed and then disappears, then the problem is with the valve guide. If it produces a mild smoke constantly, then the problem is from the piston ring, a compression test will have to be performed on the engine to determine the condition of the piston ring.
Some engines do consume oil because of the way they are designed, most especially latest German models like Audi, BMW and Mercedez Benz. For example, for some latest BMW, Audi and Benz, it’s normal for their engines to burn 1litre of oil in less than 1000miles.
Continuous driving at high speeds/RPMs may increase oil consumption. This is because the more the engine speed the more pressure you put on the seals and gaskets and some of the oil finds its way around and gets burnt away in the combustion chamber.
Using a lower viscous(thin and lighter) oil than the one recommended for your car will cause a higher oil consumption. Low viscosity oil is thinner so it can leak past rings and valve guide seals easier than heavier viscosity oils. For most late model engines, using low viscosity synthetic oil (such as 5W-20, 0W-40 and 0W-20) is recommended.
It is common for the oil sump(pan) seal/gasket to wear out and start leaking oil. The oil pan gasket seals the oil pan to the bottom of the engine. Another possible reason for a leaking oil pan is a loose or improperly tightened oil drain plug/bolt. Having the wrong oil filter or using an old/slag filter seal can cause oil leak from the filter. The most common symptom is an observable oil leakage under the car.

What are you saying? A person leaves the church and stops abiding by its doctrines, yet he still wants to continue living within an enclave designed and developed by the same church? Where is that done? If that same man becomes a muslim or an idol worshipper tomorrow, would he still live within the same RCCG Camp estate? Make una think am, nah! The best thing for such a person is to just sell the house to another RCCG member, before leaving the church. Simple. Would a Christian be allowed to live in the centre of Mecca or Medina? Or would he feel comfortable doing so?
So once he leaves RCCG to another church, he immediately becomes an unbeliever and should be ostracized out of the fold of real RCCG believers? It is only cultists that i know that treat their apostates that way. Where is christian brotherhood? My eyes are gradually opening.

Nigerian states have no powers to reject requests filed under the Freedom of Information Act (FoI), the Court of Appeal has ruled.
In a March 27 decision at the Akure Division, the Court of Appeal ruled that the requests for information, especially around public expenditure, under the FoI, are made in public interest and should be honoured by all states.
The decision came in an appeal filed by Martins Alo, a journalist, against the Speaker of Ondo State House of Assembly and Auditor-General of Ondo State.
Mr Alo had demanded the audited report of Ondo State Government between 2012 and 2014 to properly access how public funds are utilised in the state. But the request was rejected, prompting him to seek judicial redress.
The Akure Division of Ondo State High Court had previously ruled in 2016 that Mr Alo had no right to demand how the state was spending money, saying the FoI was not applicable to states and the request was not in public interest to begin with.
The judge, Williams Akintoroye, also said Mr Alo should pay a damage of N10,000 for wasting time and resources of the state.
But Mr Alo’s lawyer, Femi Emodamori, appealed the ruling on behalf of his client, arguing that Mr Akintoroye erred in his judgment and that his client was acting in public interest.
A three-member at the Court of Appeal rejected Mr Akintoroye’s ruling and agreed with the appellant that the FoI was applicable to states and it was in public interest for the state government to release its audited report.
The Court of Appeal judges who sat on the matter included Uzo Ndukwe-Anyanwu, Obande Ogbuinya and Ridwan Abdullahi.
Mr Ndukwe-Anyanwu wrote the lead opinion, saying Mr Alo has a right to act on behalf of the public to obtain the information from state authorities. He also quashed the N10,000“In a democratic dispensation, such as the Nigeria’s, the citizens have been proclaimed the owners of sovereignty and mandates that place leaders in the saddle,” Mr Ogbuinya said in his concurring opinion.
The citizens have a right to know details of “expenditure of public funds generated from their taxes,” Mr Ogbuinya added.
Several states, including Lagos, Adamawa, Akwa-Ibom and Ondo, have been rejecting FoI requests relating to their activities since the law was signed in 2011 by former President Goodluck Jonathan.
The states argued that the FoI is a federal law and its provisions are simply not binding on their respective jurisdictions, frustrating ability efforts by media outlets and transparency advocates.
“The decision of the Court of Appeal is consistent with well-established principles of legislation,” said rights activist Inibehe Effiong.
Mr Effiong, who has repeatedly filed judicial proceedings for public disclosure of expenditure by states, told TIMES the states are willfully wasting public funds in pursuing the cases because the Nigerian Constitution is clear on laws like FoI..
“By virtue of paragraph four and five in part two of the second schedule of the Constitution, the states should know that the National Assembly can make laws with respect to the archives and pubic records,” he said. “The FoI Act is a law that stipulates how the public should have access to public record.”
“Even if a State House of Assembly makes a law about how the public should have access to public record, such law would only be subservient to a similar one ed by the National Assembly.
‘I am not surprised by the judgement. The states too know this but they’re just wasting public funds in challenging the matter, he added. fine imposed by the lower court.
“Only international treaties and instruments could be domesticated, you don’t need to domesticate a federal law,” the lawyer added. “Anyone who is aggrieved should proceed to the Supreme Court, but I am confident that the Supreme Court will uphold the ruling of the Court of Appeal.”
It was not immediately clear whether Ondo State lawyers, led by Taiwo Olubodun, plan to appeal the ruling to the Supreme Court.
The Ikeja Division of Lagos State High Court had reached a similar conclusion in late last year, telling Lagos State government to immediately comply with all FoI requests because the state was bound to obey federal laws.
But the state rejected the ruling, filing an appeal to have it overturned. Based on the principle of precedent, the Lagos State appeal would be struck out following the latest ruling in Akure.
It's another great day for democracy.

Now if you deceide to forgive do so wholeheartedly, you can’t keep using her past deeds as ammunition when having an argument that shows lack of emotional intelligence on your part yes you are hurt but it becomes spite if done that way.
If you undeed feel after the talk that you cannot forgive then it’s best if you go your speerate ways as a relationship with so much resentment and distrust is not a relationship it’s a prison.

We actually learnt it from Yoruba culture who also glorify materialism even if it came from human ritual. Unfortunately, only a few of them have succeeded in making money true that means inspite of hundreds of missing people reported in their zone weekly; poverty is still endemic amongst them unlike the Ibos that are much more enterprising in their drug business.
