I have been following this thread since March, it has really helped me with my Visa application. I did my biometric with VFS Lagos on Thursday 23rd of June and Visa was Issued on Monday 27th of June. port Delivered Wednesday 29th of June. The Process was Fast

1 Month Single Entry Visa.

Document Submitted

Accomplished application form for Schengen visa with photo
Round trip flight ticket confirmation
Proof of hotel reservations
Detailed itinerary(Paid Tour tickets)
Proof of employment (Employment letter, payslips, ID card.)
Proof of contracts
Proof of income (2010 income tax return, bank certificate and statement)
Proof of identity (International port)
Proof of Pension (Statement of and Introduction letter)
Insurance Policy covering the entire period of stay(Axa mansard)
Letter of Introduction from Company
3 months payslips()

Can you please explain to me what you mean by Paid tour tickets, and I would also like to know if paid for flight ticket?

Use 4m out of that 10m to purchase an education bond. Trust me, it will save you a lot of head ache.

Edubond is the surest way to avoid finance related refusal.

Once you show just 10m balance,
1. they will look at inflow and outflow
2. Check if you provided receipts or evidence for lump sum lodgements
3. Request for TCC
4. Scrutinize your relationship to sponsor
5. Feel as if the money might still not be enough. Etc


It happened to me. I got refused even though I had sufficient balance

I had to appeal after applying for edubond.

I was hella scared I would loose my money but I didn't.

Submitted my edubond receipt and got the visa

Please I would like to know how you are able to pay the Edubond through the form A because it seems some banks doesn't know how to make the payment, can someone in out of nigeria help me make the payment on edubond portal?

Firstly don't listen to what many people are saying here, I vididly believe that your agent didn't scam you, Canada PR can take much longer due to the covid-19.

Since your documentation not online submission that will take you almost 6month, but if you submit your documents online that can only take you three months process, so you need to be extremely patient, and keep on teaching out to your agent time to time

So to me your agent didn't scam you because you did submission at VFS office, so you need to relax your mind and be more patient

But how many months now have you applied?

Please I will like to know if you write GRE before you get funding?

I'm grateful to God Almighty that made today possible. Everything started in 2019.
I wrote GRE and applied to schools but they all rejected me then I ran to Nairaland to tender my case.

One angel saw my case on Nairaland and sent a mail to me. We call him Pepe �. I thank God for using Pepe for me. He told me to go and do WES so that I can get ission and funding. I told him it wasn't possible becos I didn't have that kind of money. He pressed on me until I did WES, then my story changed.

I am so happy right now. Only God could have done this.

I planned to have my interview at a later date but I just discovered that my port will remain exactly 6 months tomorrow. God gave me today's date in short �

Interview
Vo: good morning
Me: good morning sir.
Vo: do you have up to six months on this port.
Me: yes sir. It will remain six months tomorrow.
Vo: where are you going in the US?
Me: I'm going to kennesaw state university for my Master's degree in chemistry. I got this offer in 2020 but due to covid lockdown I couldn't secure an appointment.
Vo: oh, I see.
Me: yes sir. In fact my assistantship was kept for me.

Vo : why do you want to have this degree?
Me: I planned to a multinational company here in Nigeria as a research and development Chemist, and this degree will put me in the best position to achieve that.
I'm currently eyeing Nestlé, OLAM, and Unilever.
Vo: where are you working presently?
Me: I'm working with Nestlé Nigeria on contract. I ed them pending the beginning of my program as I can't take up any permanent appointment until I get my Master's.
Vo: nodding in agreement.
Vo: have you travelled out before?
Me: No sir.
Vo: who is your sponsor?
Me : named him.
Vo: what does he do?
Me: he holds the position of vice president at OLAM international. So he controls all their manufacturing activities in Nigeria.
Vo: didn't get OLAM so I spelt for him.
Vo: why does he want to sponsor you?
Me: he was the one that advised me to go for my Master's abroad to gain a better research knowledge and international exposure before I their company as R& Chemist. He promised to render all the necessary and he's doing just that. In fact he gave me the money last year before I realized I couldn't go.

Me: still standing at his front like I was in another world.

Sponsor Land Documents
Sponsor C of O
Copy of family picture. (not compulsory)
Shares or Investment (Like T/bills) (if any)

note it won't affect it, but the way you fill your ds 160 really matter a lot and both america and usa share the same applications, just try to make sure you are able enough to convince on your interview, that is all
