Pls, is there any regulation that mandate engraving the numbers on the car body/accessories or is it to prevent theft. I've been wondering all the while. Thanks.

This country is a serious joke and I don't know how the government reason or they all expect people to steal to meet up with living in the country.
Imagine this outrageous billing. A country with #30k minimum wage before tax. For a family of 4 (father, mother and 2 children) spending average of #500 each daily. #2k × 30 = #60k. Now even if the minimum estimated power bill is #10k/month, how do the government think people cope - vis-a-vis transport, feeding, school fees etc. Just Speechless .
The whole thing just tire me. I beg let me stop before losing one's sanity.

What is the logic, flight to operate with interstate movement restriction. I hope they are indirectly saying interstate restriction will be lifted on or before the 21th date. Honestly, me I don tire.

Can u imagine the type of insult on the sensibility of Nigerians by this network providers especially MTN.
After making us suffer for a slow internet connection for days, they said we are given free 500MB as appreciation to expire in 24hrs. Like 24hrs is not bad enough, All data usage since d bonus message has been deducted from the personal data not d bonus. Just bought 6GB 1 month validity 2 days ago. So, they expect one to finish his data before enjoying d free MB - see thieves sense. fraud! fraud!! fraud!!!. Wonder if NCC see all this nonsense.
See message below

"Y'ello, our internet service has been restored. Thank you for your patience. Enjoy 500MB FREE as a token of our appreciation. Valid till Jan 20. Dial*131*4# to check."

Abeg, how many days of the year are these people working. Always on recess, holidays and even almost empty seats when in session despite collecting huge money. I think we need to rearrange this country. Many questions begging for answers. I tire for the country.

Waoh! I taught we have minimum wage structure in d country. Why are police recruits case different..... Any way, the structure did not tell us other benefits they enjoy apart from normal salary. I believe they enjoy other privileges.... I no mean "road blocks or roger me". God help us in this country.

How many group are there in the Niger delta. Some small criminal boys forming militants every where. There parents and so called "elders" aiding them. If govt react now they will start shouting.
Of all d billions paid during amnesty era, who has it help. We need to wake up here in d Niger delta.

The problem is not leaving 1k in d accts. It is d crazy and illegal charges that Nigerians are complaining about. In they are serious they should come out with specific unambiguous guidelines and show evidence of banks sanctioned for illegal customer charges. Note not d fines that still go back to govt pocket and not benefiting d customers.

Na way for "our" (did we really choose them) leaders. apart from misplaced priority, the location I see in d pics if true is the worst place for such project even if we try to indulge him.
Firstly, it is on d ever busy ABA road with a lot of traffic issues. Still at d center of d road along d Eliorzu where d conference center is also causing heavy traffic jam whenever there is an event there (now almost every other day).
Again there is an existing unkept recreational park at airforce less than 500m from there (although wrongly located too, with touts and insecurity) why not improve that, improve security and create better awareness.
Finally, people visit leisure parks when economy is good and security is guaranteed. It is simple logic.
I wonder d type of advisers our government surround themselves with. God is watching, we human need to start watching and ask questions too.

This is pathetic. it is one of the impunity and lawlessness in d country. the chairmen of banks now control both the cbn and d economy, worse is they are above the law. FIRST BANK is worse.

Sorry this may be long but bear wt me as i did my research and found out the first bank action is a big fraud, breach of agreement and impunity that can take place in a country where companies never care about its action because like i said ealier they are above d law.

Imagine charging a savings acct 50K plus as mtce fee (AMF) and additional #105 monthly fee in Feb. complained to acct officers, first even bank managers in regional offices (outside lagos) who are as confused as anyone. Initially they all said it was an error that will be reversed. First which should know better even wrote that they are iivestigating and it has been escalated.

Visited its head office in Lagos for explanation, the customer care team are also at lost until they referred me to one of d senior men who said it is a new development.

FIRST BANK REASON
After a long merry-go-round. he said
1. Major reason was that with all new banking tech. most BIZ customer now use Savings for transactions thereby excaping the AMF.

2. Volume of transactions on the savings s is quite quite high............ all other reasons are lugubriously ludicrous.

MY RESPONSE:
After thanking him for his difficult explanation (which from his look, wasn't convinced himself but needed to do his job as it is beyond him).
1. I referred him to their official website opened b4 him and read all the product types to him. The website despite recently updated to capture AMF and other new charges (available to all online) still did not provide any charges for savings and categorically stated Unlimited number of withdrawers.

2. I opened my laptop and showed him a copy of the updated CBN Guild On Charges which is very clear to even a layman. (some bankers dont even know while others claim oblivion). No such charges and even d #1 per #1000 is negotiable if customers are adequately informed.

To spare u of the long stories, after long discussion,
I realised the banks needed more money as TSA, low /inconsistence Dollar policy, amognst many other economy issues.but be it as it may, they need to do it legitimately.
Customers need to be well informed to take appropriate decisions. even as i type, only #100 monthly fee is scrolled at d top of the page for savings .
We all know current is for biz. if they are cancelling savings , they sud say so. Imagine a student who have to manage his monthly stipends with more than 3 withdrawers in a month having to pay extra!

I have already complained officially. Let all complain on CBN and other relevant public complaint portals. Even carryout a mass action.
This is another test of this istration resolve to fight corruption even when many of us are already lossing hope.
Wahala dey oooo. as i was about to submit, just got alert of another 39k charge. this time name changed to WITHDRAWER FEE. yeeepaaa.
straight to FBN to close . no time for conclusion.

Good work and Kudos to our military.
But like seriously, Are BH spread so wide in this country, if so, then someone has not been telling us the truth. Initially the military authority has been in perpetual denial of all report about the sect's spread and strength but now so many disclosure and victory claim for what they never acknowledge. Could it be political or some innocent people are being roped in. I tire for this country, but i know God will expose all the hypocrites in this country and more truth shall be told someday.
Meanwhile let the election come and go, they are all birds of a feather - one, a perceived Good hearted weak incumbent surrounded by so many sycophants and two, an assumed strong-willed aged awaiting president surrounded by people of questionable past. When will it be the turn of the "leaders of tomorrow" that we have been singing since 1980. In mama peace voice Dia ris God oooooo, oya continu.

Why are the govt so confused about fixing problems in this country. The refinery story is becoming embarrassing to this country despite our vast resourses of engineers that has fixed more serious technological challenges all over the world. It is embarrassing to some of us in d diaspora
1st we have done so many TAM illegally enriching few people without punishment.
Before partial subsidy removal we are trying to fix it again, quickly during anti subsidy protest, we were told govt have no business with refinery as investors are a already waiting to come in. After a lot of back and forth movement without result, Now we are preparing another scam. Just like phcn, put in billions sell for few thousand and later them with another few millions. I no something is fishy about all these.
I know revolution is near!!!!!!! Dia rise God ooo.

U guys are either not in nigeria or workers of the cable ntwk. I am in a location with more than 8 decoders on subscription. I even have to call people in town who experienced same. I mean watching it live and not a replay some hours later. I have nothing to gain bringing them down but the fact must be said. wish not to drag it further but nigeria need to wake up.
larrygee(m): 10:22am On Feb 01, 2015
I have been observing this trend for a while but this morning just got me pissed off.
The final of Austraila open tennis (Male and Female) was widely d by the cable station DSTV, checked the online TV guide an hour before the match still has the final on supersport 1 and 6. Come the match time, like their usual self, the game was not shown and both station programme were changed, without information or apology. Guess number of Tennis ers that would have renewed their subscriptions for this reason.
Why does every person take us for a ride! I think we need to start asking question and punishing people for not doing there job as promised, especially when our hard earned and tax payers money are involved.

Ji_sun_pack: Photoshop! una sabi say Sahara reporters na gossips.

This is not photoshop. The pics are understatement, if u watch the story on AIT Matter Arising or have the chance to see the level of deterioration, you go nearly weep. What a waste in this country. This reflects the state of the nation. when millions are allocated for maintenance of govt facilities, many sees it has their share of national cake and no one is held able because all involve are guilty as charged. From my experience, A nice car for price and some features that comes as extra on other well known Japanese and European cars.
Concerns are - The Jeeps are not that strong for Bad and flooded roads because of bearings and wheels issues. Moreso, The service centres of the official marketers are too expensive and exploitative, May be it is the nigeria factor as our government and regulating bodies dont really care about how foreign companies exploit its citizen.
overall, Good car and improving design for good roads, As per maintenance requiring change of parts, look for a good and trusted mechanics around who can get the parts and fix because that company go "cut your head".
