The fear of Covic-1 9 is truly the beginning of wisdom.. But there is really no wisdom is saying students shouldn't write this year WAEC Examination. We are not saying all students should resume now, but what's difficult in ensuring graduating students only resume and they oblige to NCDC protocols? Let them resume and preapre for this exam. WAEC is West African Examination Council, it isn't a local exam that could be easily rescheduled for another time. I hope Covic - 1 9 istration makes the right decision on this Waec issue. 4 Likes |

Good evening fellow Nairalanders. I was at Igando Multipurpose market yesterday in Lagos state, at the entrance in noticed a "disinfecting tunnel " but it appears not to be functioning yet. I feel it was installed there as a means of ensuring both buyers and sellers are properly disinfected before entering the market premise so as to battle covid-19. The truth is I've been notcing this disinfecting tunnel there for close to a month, and since then it has not really been working or anything. So I decided to ask fellow nairalanders if anyone has seen or used similar thing in any market or public place recently? Kindly share your experience.

Oh my state, the fountain of knowledge. ![]() How are we supposed to acquire knowledge in this kind of environment? Well aside the furniture and renovation, quality teachers should be included in the needs too.[ |

Our governors keep celebrating the construction of roads as achievements, rather than create enabling systems to provide jobs for people. Lol, but what do I know self? ![]() |

I wonder how the post Covid-19 era in Nigeria is going to be. We just keep hearing these things being approved or commencing, but then just a few people are the beneficiaries. |

Nigeria is a failed nation! Even the poor and the most vulnerable who are suppose to at least get some benefits have been forgotten and abandoned. I don't blame them for going to pick up used and contaminated face masks, they can't afford to get one and neither can they afford to stay at home doing and earning nothing to feed. You put people on lockdown without providing anything for them to sustain thier daily feeding, yet all we keep hearing are audio reports. Gaint of Africa? Hell No! 7 Likes |

Well, if this was an African country, a lot of hypocrites praising them right now here on Nairaland, would have said a whole lot of demeaning comments on the Africans. But yet, that country has got a standard, look at the them protesting without the fear of intimidation from any security personnel. I wonder if such could happen in my country (Nigeria). The government itself would have been the first intimidation by ordering massive arrest of the citizens. 209 Likes 14 Shares |

I'm sure they haven't bribed the right authority that was probably why they got arrested. No be Naija we dey? Even Lagos here, where the virus is real, commercial buses are still coming in and out, so I'm not really suprised.

Jack? As in the Twitter man? Well, that's commendable. God heal our land! (Amen). Funny how I noticed it's being a while since I saw or heard Aeroplane in my area. This lockdown, I'm sure has some positive effects on our Ecosystem too. We now have less pollution of the environment for a while. 18 Likes 2 Shares |
