Hello All,

I just checked my Total right now. I was asked to select another at first. After a successful , then the disappointment...' Unsuccessful application- 02 Sept 2019.'

I wish you all the best! God bless us all.

Not everyone on the forum will agree with your statement, @ikanthonyn. Kindly check some pages back, do an analysis of those that commented on reapplying and make your deductions. Also, the monikers that participated during those discussions will be able to my position accordingly.

Wishing the successful applicants best of luck in the assessments.

To all the applicants that received the message from GCC asking us to fill out other applications before 12th July 2019, do you now believe that it was an indication that you weren't selected for the concerned job role? I have never seen a recruitment opportunity in which the recruiter/outsourcing firm advise potential candidates to apply for other job roles, apart from that chosen by the applicant.

I wouldn't want to discourage anyone but the handwriting has always been on the wall.

Once again, best of luck to invited applicants.

I think total have done their interview. I met a friend in warri here last week who told me his friend is currently undergoing medical at total. I didn't bother asking further for details. But I felt they have taken people through back door.

God will help us. I will advice us to move on. I got the survey mail. Haven't responded to it. I don't even have the time for that shit.

Hmmm...

Hello subcbouy,

Based on this premise, does that imply that the mail sent by Careers in Africa recently showing latest vacancies could be a rejection mail as well?

Thank you SAFEENG, this is a good question!

I posted this in the morning...that's why it's showing this time

Thank you for the clarification.

subcbouy:
You are initially being considered for the scholarship because, first, you have applied for the same scholarship before secondly, your application with total is still active.

@Subcbuoy, your explanation for the email is logically tenable. However, the email made reference to ''new job offers are regularly published...'' and ''...manager of this position'' in contrast to the ''Total International Scholarship'' observed in the first paragraph.

I wish someone who knows someone can clarify this irregularity.

Best regards

Why are peeps getting riled up? Poster actually got the mail yesterday evening as stated in his post.

@smarttm, don't lose hope. It might not even be a rejection mail, it could've been sent in error since you never applied for scholarship in the first place.

Hello Olatillend, I believe sourcing for information shouldn't be misconstrued for being riled up. My take from the very point I realized that emails were sent was that it couldn't have been an automated response sent to all the applicants.

I sincerely pray that the regret email sent to Smatttm is a mistake. Let us hope for the best...

Phone time faulty as how? He is using a 24-hour time. 18:40 means 6:40 p.m naija time. I have it on my phone too like that. Lol

@Fremaxx, I fully comprehend the whole 24-hour timeframe thing. However, if you check most posts capturing snapshots as provided by applicants on page 6. You would notice that they were posted in real time. To prove this, kindly check the time snapshots were posted against time(s) the person posted on the forum.

Even my son knows how to read time in a 24-hour timeframe...You aren't nice at all grin

Sorry about the regret email. The snapshot request was actually to disprove the theory that automated responses were sent to the applicants.

Are you currently out of the country or your phone time is faulty? I noticed the time specified on the snapshot...

However, please do not feel dismayed by the regret email. May the Lord God perfect all things concerning you.

Best regards

Solution:
Let the square root of 35-12√6 be represented by √a - √b

Therefore, the 35-12√6 = (√a - √b)square= a+b-2√ab

comparing the equation and quantities above, we can clearly observe that

a+b=35----------- (1)

2√ab=12√6
√ab=6√6
square bothsides
ab=216------------(2)

Solving equations (1) and (2) simultaneously,

let a=35-b---------(3)

put (3) into (2), we obtain

(35-b)(b)=216
exploring further
36b-b[/sup]2=216
rearranging in quadratic form will give
b[sup]
2-35b+216=0
solving by factorisation method
b[sup][/sup]-27b-8b+216=0
b(b-27)-8(b-27)=0
b=8 or 27

However, when b=8, a=35-b=35-8=27 (a=27 and b=cool case 1
when b=27, a=35-b=35-27=8 (a=8 and b=27) case 2

Let us now explore case 1: a=27 and b=8

Note that the square root= √a - √b =√27 - √8= 3√3 - 2√2...This is positive because 3√3 - 2√2>0

but if you consider case 2: a=8 and b=27
The square root becomes the reverse i.e 2√2 - 3√3...This is negative because 2√2 - 3√3<0

Therefore, the positive square root is 3√3 - 2√2 and it is obtained when a=27 and b=8 in case 1 above

Dear All,

Trust this message meets you well.

I have been out of the office for some days. My colleague just informed me that the spots have been filled. Interviews were conducted last week and those selected resumed yesterday. This came as a big surprise to me...Cant say more than that

However, my sincere apologies to those that were unsuccessful on the tests for not receiving notification accordingly.

Congratulations to those selected. Don't know if management still has E/E candidates in mind

Besides our busy schedule and on-going projects, kindly be informed that performance on the tests hasn't been too encouraging.

However, invites should be sent latest 2nd week of November to successful candidates.

Many thanks for your patience and kind understanding.

I am very sure that Nigeria will beat Zambia in Ndola. Please have patience with our boys peradventure the goals don't come early as expected.

Victory is sure!!!

You can quote me after the match
laperson: 10:47pm On Sep 22, 2016
bigblangston:
An offensive setup and nicely done but we have to realise that we are playing in faraway Zambia where everything including the atmospheric condition may be setup in a way to thwart our ambition of progressing to the WC tourney. The Zambians are known to play beautiful football in the presence of their fans and they will have to appease their fans for their failure to qualify for AFCON, So they will go gun blazing at us but we can turn that to our advantage by trying to be conserved with our approach by using 4-5-1 formation. This formation help us to soak the pressure from the Zambian team which in turn frustrate the zambian team and add a lot of pressure on them then errors set in. Then we can turn that to our advantage but our striker should be known for burying half chance when it presents itself which I know kelechi is capable of doing perfectly. Success should stick to the flanks if the 4-3-3 is eventually used.

You are right! The Zambians scheduled the match for 1.30pm in the afternoon. They know our boys will definitely find it uneasy playing in the scorching sun. I pray we win that match
