The good folks at The Times are championing the report that, Chelsea players are begging Conte to tweak his training schedule in order to allow them more rest to avoid injuries.

Well, I've gone through that report over and over again, and I believe there's an element of truth to it.

We have lost Morata, Kante, Moses and just few days ago Luiz and Bakayoko all to hamstring strains. Clearly an indication that these boys are having their muscles overloaded.

Whatever regime they're being put through isn't helping our season. This was less of a problem last season because we had no European football demands to address but that isn't the case this time around.

We are competing on four fronts this season with a thin squad. If Conte doesn't alter his system, we might have our squad stretched thin.

I think the major factor here is the amount of games being played during this period before the International break that was leading to a major competition. It is always do or die and players give it their all coupled with club commitments on four fronts which is why Conte had been pushing for extra bodies all summer.

The players currently injured even played little or no part during the international break.
Now look at it, We had to play, was it, 7 games in 21 days just before the international break and Kante was about to play 2 important qualifiers before injury set in, he was clearly overworked with games and not training regime,

Bakayoko did not even go for international break which means he rested and didn't play and only trained yet he is injured and they want to say its training? Same with Luiz.

Moses Only played 1 qualifier after the gruesome Chelsea fixtures, and he didn't even report to Nigerian camp on time and after the match on Saturday, had another 3- 4 days rest before coming back to Chelsea.

Morata's injury can be blamed on the fact that in 2 years, this is the first time he is leading an attack week in week out for a big team, in a new league that is very physical.
