Are you not bothered by the rate at which marriages crash these days?

A bit bothered...but we still have marriages standing the test of time. You won't know cos they don't put their shit on the internet for the whole world to delve into.

You are using celebrity marriages as a yardstick to ascertain dwindling marriages.

What's with the red blood stains on the pic? What are u hiding.

Marriage can never go extinct. A union instituted by God can never. Just say the devil is working tirelessly to bring problems in a union.

I'm glad you understand me. If you have a job offer for a programmer, your best bet is never to search for a computer science graduate but a sound programmer. Programming is a matter of interest and not degree. Those who have the degrees learnt nothing in school. They were thought several language in abstract manner and eventually didn't understand any.

Comp. Science graduates who programme well are those who painstakingly studied such language as if they have no degree.

PERMISSION TO DRIFT *Shines teeth*

Will you also agree with me that it's also a talent and the best programmers or those good in it developed that from childhood stage.
(If u don't agree, pls feel free to strike through d above comment, pls) lol

Reason why I promised myself that i won't get mad when my kids destroy their one week old toys, when they destroy my flat screen, when they demand for a laptop...i get them one, when they destroy my phone, construct some meaningless things in the house et al. I will let them be.
I know a very good programmer whose eyes were always on screens of phones, had access to an analog disted scrap laptop back then.
Interest inclusive...the zeal to know more...

You just showed you have no knowledge of programming what so ever. In programming, you can't proceed an inch without understanding the basics of programming theoretically. As a matter of fact, if you don't even have a good knowledge of mathematics, you'll fail from the start.

Only a few universities in Nigeria offer computer science in a reasonable fashion. I was shocked to the marrow the day I was told a department in U.I. still writes codes on paper. Many Nigerian schools don't have facilities to run the programme. They write code on paper which eventually can't be debugged. You'll be surprised to know many computer science students don't even have laptops. They can't even lunch Microsoft visual studio successfully.

Go to Andela, the place where Mark Zuckerberg visited when he came to Nigeria, who are their best programmers and you would realize they don't have a degree in computer science. In fact, when recruiting, the degree is not a requirement.

The lecturers that teach the computer courses nko?
Some with outdated knowledge whose main aims are just to write and publish textbooks to get to the next level or to make money. Some can't even do the simplest of things on their phones, some cant even an app sef let alone building one.
Lecturers still stuck with 80's knowledge.

Shift!.

There are so many courses...sports is the umbrella. There are human kinetics, Physical and Health Science, Sports Psychology etc too numerous to mention. A lucrative field...aside scoring a goal on the pitch there are other actions that take place.

You know nothing.!

That's the difference between Biafrans and Oduduwans. Oduduwans will be shouting Amotekun online and posting tiger left and right but when you ask them to come out, only 6 people will come out. Samething they did to Sowore; shouting revolution online, disturbing everybody but when it came time for action, they abandoned Sowore. SMH

It's not everyone that can venture into science field, but no matter what you do, please avoid liberal Arts field. CRS, Pschology, Philosophy, Arabic, History. Go for Management Science Courses. Even if you hate maths, you can work on your maths, you don't necessarily have to have an A or a B.

Replace with Archeology.

Psychology is better...there are so many branches of psychology one can venture into....clinical psychology, Industrial psychology et al can't all.

Lmao! Baddest. Kikikiki

I am really following this thread.

But of a truth pls, I won't advise anyone in Nigeria to study ChemEng. I mean no disrespect/harm.

I know someone who dropped out of that course to go study a good course and today thanking God and his ancestors for the wisdom to change the course. His colleagues who were in that same course and were 4/5 pointers are regretting studying that course and envying others who changed to better courses. Selah

Why is nobody mentioning Marketing? There are many companies in Nigeria that produce one thing or the other they need Marketers to help them sell their brands.

Because Marketing in Nigeria is modern slavery. Except you are marketting for big big brands, the story may change.

Computer science is a waste of time. You don't have to be a computer science graduate to practice in that field. You simply need the knowledge and if really want to be grounded in the field, you are definitely not learning that within the four walls of the classroom. The rest is mathematics.

I think computer science should be the generic name.
There are other sub courses underneath...like AI, Information tech, Graphics and design etc

The vat was increased from 5% - 7.5% so, it is only reasonable that the latest increment shouldn't exceed this difference in the vat increase if we are to believe their explanation for the increment.

I think they took that into consideration. Well applied. Three phase meter used to be 70k...i dunno about d one phase meter.

In fact Nepa officials will tell u that the one phase meter is unavailable (purposely). So u have no choice than to go for the three phase. I think that's where there profit lies.

Modified: if you are a lady pls learn basic hand crafts. I am about enrolling in a sewing class cos i dunno how soon i will be leaving this country. I have also noticed that so many of our naija abroadians have no access to good tailors...I see most of them wearing unfitting and badly sewn dresses...which brings me to my conclusion there are bad tailors in the abroad that don't know how to sew our naija natives especially for women.
Guys can also venture into that...it's quite lucrative in the abroad too.

Hope i didn't end up typing rubbish, pls?

It's not about just reviewing price up and down. Are the metres available for consumers? As in, pay and get...or is it that you pay and wait forever for the meter you've paid for?

This is a reoccurrent madness in most Discos.

How many of you here have paid for metres and are still waiting?
