Renewing your port doesn't change anything. You have a unique DHA number which doesn't change with any visa granted you. Within the period of your ban, have you visited other countries?

I'll also suggest you wait till next year before reapplying, and make sure you state your earlier ban. Otherwise na another ban you go chop.

yes I have been to other countries,UAE particularly .I was trying to even email them to Knwo if the banned would expired automatically as was stated ,Cos it says the banned would expired September 3rd ,and it was then j can try to enter sa. Again

Yes it’s visa free for one month , bring 9ja food oo, Nigerian restaurants here are expensive,after that then you renew your holiday tourist visa if want to extend after the one month expires

I don’t believe this untill it’s official .I checked uae embassy in Nigeria ,and no such news .i check alkhaleej and no such news .So don’t know where this news is coming from

That letter may not be received by you been an applicant. So use courier , and address to the High Commision Visa Department

They will receive and acknowledge from the courier. Then you begin to follow up.

Thanks for your update ,I went to Alausa today and truly my port was ready and I got it today ,it was so crazy though cos I had to bride one immigration to finally bring it out for me. Cos I was there since 7am and it wasn’t even getting close to the number given to me as at 3pm.One man saw me lamenting and told me that I’ve to find someone to bride cos that exactly what he did and the immigration brought the port for him so I did the same and not even up to 30 minutes my port was brought to me ,Imagine since 7am ,and many peoples are still there .Nigeria immigration are just wicked and so corrupt walahi.

Got all the information from this thread.
Captured September 29th, issued November 16th.

This same Alausa Oga oo..Cos me I captured August 29th ,Collection date October 1st !!!Cos they was holiday I went there octonber 3rd and I was told that my port isn’t ready yet ,The woman told me I will get a call once it’s ready ,till date no call or text ,Just wondering if I should go or wait for their call or text .

I’m 100% sure boss. Anyone with a ban has to first apply for an upliftment before reapplying. Coz your name is already in the system. Someone has to remove it from the system. Don’t rush to reapply or you’ll be wasting your money and time. You can call or email VFS to . They’ll give you the of who to write at DHA for your upliftment. Cheers.

No you can’t apply again. It will be rejected. You need to apply for an upliftment of overstay first before reapplying for a visa. It’s a long process and you’ll probably need the help of someone inSA to follow up with DHA

you sure ? cos it was clearly stated the date my overstay will expired ,Its then and after then I think I can reapply,I just want to be sure before I do anything or take a step .

Once your ban expires .. you are free to apply again. But don’t expect it to be as smooth as someone without a ban. But if in anyway you are rejected, an immigration lawyer to take up the case ..

I was with my trusted agent few days ago .. She showed me an approved 1 week conference visa she applied on E-Visa (VFS platform) .. and this visa was approved on the 10th Nov even when it was applied on 31st Oct. and the surprising thing is this man is a first time traveller lol. But you know what was more surprising? They gave the man exact days of stay he applied for. They didn’t add any extra days for him hahahaha.. his visa was approved on the 10th and will expire on the 18th Nov. my agent told me that is how Evisa VFS works now. I had to change my mind and tell her to increase my days from a week to a month just incase cos she said they give you the exact days you apply for .. cos they don’t want Nigerians too much in their country
