Engine oil leaks are normal after a number of years on any engine.
Oil seals are replaceable parts.
I didn't like the way you showed up repeatedly without calling in.
I also have a standing rule of not working for e-hailing drivers, and when I found out you were one, I was more than happy to take my engine back and let go of the loses incurred.
Using ‘e-hailing’ drivers as a reason for gross incompetence. You knew from day 1 I was going to be using the car on ehailing sparingly.
I was more than happy to collect my funds back from you.
This same issue played out with me and gazzuzz. Same july. Bought a tokunbor corolla engine and it was already shorting oil in 3 days. I complained to him and he gave me same ultimatum of removing the engine within 24hrs. I was like calm down it hasn’t gotten to that, is there nothing else that can be done and he was like no and that if I take the car out of his garage with the faulty engine, I should never bother him about it anymore.
I spent over 300k to get an engine replacement because you’re supposedly a pro and all I get is this kind of treatment? No courtesy, no customer service, no empathy. You stress me, you stress my car, stress my bank balance and you’re still being proud about it? You think it is easy to fork out over 300k on a car in this perilous times. Hell no, I told him to replace my old engine.
I knew about his arrogance and pride but still opted to work with him because I thought I was dealing with a professional.
He made me lose valuable time and also some money. I really hated my experience with him. With baba40’s experience, I’ve concluded that it’s either he doesn’t know what he’s doing or he’s doing it on purpose. I mean you can’t repeatedly collect faulty engines from your suppliers after claiming to having all these years experience.
Baba40 I totally get you bro even though you goofed big time.
Bros the problem is just that most naija just get this Lagos mentality which is I smart you.
If I should start to drop numbers of drivers here owing me money of job done, I know una no go get the liver to start calling them. But we move and just adjust they don't fool you again.
All my trips both on uber and bolt were transfer and I have never had a problem with them infact they dont wait around to get alert. They just kinda trust me which I feel is good.
So anyone who fools him/herself is just basically a fraud.
And that mentality has prevented a lot of people from getting help. Drop their numbers bro, let them feel the heat.

Hello Everyone,
I must commend, this is one of the most active threads I’ve seen here on NL. It was an amazing read as I read through most of your experiences (couldn’t read all though ). The journey was so educative, informative and very hilarious can’t the number of times I burst out laughing, y’all are doing an amazing job. I’m most intrigued with how you help each other out on getting difficult cases fixed, it’s more like a family kind of thing. Make una no change o, una dey do well
But one thing though I noticed most of the experience shared here on riders is mostly on the bad side and only very few s share how kind or good a rider was to them. Reading through many of your shared experiences I personally would have thought most riders are maniacs and a self centered opportunist, and any new driver could possibly have the same notion there by might go into the hustle with an aggressive mentality on the rider
Abi I’m not making sense ni?
No.
There are plenty good riders and there’s really no point talking about them because they don’t give us problems....yet. If we talk about every rider both good and bad, the pages would be around 10k by now. So we only talk about the ones that give problems and possibly alert comrades of behavior exhibited.
We are riders too so it’s not a ‘drivers against riders thing’. People just don’t know how to behave.
This platform really need to be thoroughly monitored, some that are supposed to be looked up to can turned to be scammer sometimes my experience with one old here is funny.
What I received is absolutely differ from what he posted as a TLC, but later accepted but alleged i changed his charger,he refunded ma money through but short it with 10k,he made me wasted 5k on dispatch and wasted my time without compensation
People really need to be more careful when buying TLC
Am still bitter over this act coz he acted like a criminal without remorse.
Always speak out so as to save the next person. Let’s not allow a breeding ground for them here.
Lol thread destroyed and OP pushed out. Smh there seems to be a strong gender battle on NL. You lots are just pathetic, fighting for irrelevant things.
Kodred yhu b DODRITAS. Abeg make una dey take break dey enjoy the fun around you. Like they say, Problem No Dey Finish. The Example na the drivers forum. Everyday to a new shit
I don’t know why you guys are arguing over card payment. It’s a very convenient means of payment for all parties.
Rider pays with card and gets discount (not all the time o ole)
Driver accepts card payment and pays his commission to the app company
App company gets paid through card payment and has resources to improve app services to both rider and driver.
It’s a no brainer. Yea there are times that cash is needed asap but it is what it is. That is how the business is. You can’t expect the business to bend for you.
This thread has become like our country Nigeria. Everyday one NON-issue to occupy us and make us lose focus.
Abeg angry igboman na which part of my motor I go hang that cctv device?
