Temeetee12: WES would evaluate as a Bachelor's degree, which it is. |

Finally WES report out, five days ahead of schedule. Unilorin, thank you oh! I had to get a Professor that works there to get them to check their mails and respond, after over six weeks of WES sending confirmation mail. This was after another two months of hustling transcript. In all, I give thanks! Now the wait for ITA begins.... 27 Likes |

Hello everyone, I trust the weekend has been good. Please can one select yes for spouse ECA even whilst awaiting the report which is due by October 26 or one has to wait till its out to be able to claim points for it. Does it have any implications if the date of possible ITA precedes the date on the ECA report?

Hello everyone, Got a mail from WES last night that they have received my transcript from my school but they didn't receive my degree certificate. Apparently, the agent I got to send both from my school didn't include the certificate. I obviously need to send the certificate but then I read somewhere here on previous threads that one can send such via some fax app and WES will accept it as against sending via courier. Just trying to save a few bucks but I don't want to be penny wise and pound foolish and end up wasting precious time which is of great essence right now. Please, I'd appreciate all the helpful info I can get regarding this. Thanks a lot everyone. |

Hephgirl: Thanks. I just stuck to Jay's videos from E2 on YouTube for my writing, then IELTS Liz for my speaking. Listening and reading, na just freestyle o. I don't really think there's much I did in of preparations for those two. Second attempt for both of us. The first didn't go so well. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Hi guys, whilst waiting to sort out my transcript issues with my school, please I need clarification on this having a relative in Canada criterion. My spouse has an uncle, two uncles actually. But the CRS score calculator only asks about sibling. A friend of mine that recently got his PR insists that having an uncle that's a PR or citizen definitely adds extra points when we eventually get in the pool. Please how true is this? My tentative 439 could really do with some boost right now...

Hello House, my first attempted IELTS results came out Yesterday. LRWS - 8, 7, 6, 8. Barely prepared because I thought it would be a walkover. How wrong I was! Well, Reality gave me a punch in the gut, and it hurt a little. Obviously I'm retaking ASAP and will not be taking anything for granted this time. Got to watch a few videos online last night on what is expected in the writing and I saw all that I did wrong. Perhaps, if I hadn't been so disrespectful to the exam and prepared well, I'd have aced it one time. My school, Unilorin on the other hand has decided to be a c the wheel of my progress. 2 months now, they haven't been able to send my transcript to WES because "their machine spoilt". I don't know if there other folks in the house experiencing same. It's been so so disheartening. ![]() 5 Likes 1 Share |

Interesting times in kogi politics. I am okun, and I follow happenings back home. I must say it's been long coming though, as Yahya Bello has the APC apparatus locked down and his recent bromance with Smart Adeyemi only goes to buttress the "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" narrative. Dino has done well to decamp. He is young, vibrant, has the power of incumbency and presents a much stronger candidature than Smart who people don't really like for his pomposity and tight-fistedness. Question is, can he triumph over the combination of Yahya Bello and Smart? His presence in places like Egbe, Odo Ere, Isanlu, etc is also very weak. Interesting times indeed. 32 Likes 4 Shares |

Saw this accident yesterday, close to H-medix, Wuse 2. Horrible sight. It's obvious someone was overspeeding, probably under the influence. To even think the driver would be speeding on Ademola Adetokunbo during the day, as busy as it is... I taya. I hope they have insurance sha. 9 Likes |

ofedegbe:Go to a police station, file a report. Explain everything. Then proceed to your bank with the police report. You may also swear an affidavit in court stating your innocence. They will forward these to their compliance unit and after investigations, your will be freed. Fear not though, you may still operate other bank , BVN or not. I hope you've learnt from your mistake. All the best. 5 Likes |

SoldierBoy1: I don't totally agree with you. I am from Egbe, Kogi state and grew up in Ilorin. Grew up thinking Ilorin was Yorubaland, which it is. People from places like Offa, Erinle, Shao, Oro, etc don't see themselves as northerners. Yorubas first, kwarans next, but definitely not northerners. As for those in Kogi, identity crisis, infighting, and lack of unity of purpose got them to be lumped together with strange people in a strange land. Akure and Ekiti used to be under the old Kabba province, how we ended up in present day Kogi state is still beyond me. 6 Likes 1 Share |

The Yoruba nation goes beyond the six South West states. What happens to those in Kwara and Kogi? The Yoruba man in Ijebu or Ibadan is equal to one in Offa, Ilorin or Kabba. This move is isolationist. 4 Likes |

I served in Ekiti, 2012. I ran away because of the cultists. Ori Apata on Adebayo Road, Ado Ekiti, they visited like every other week to rob and rape. It was a horrible experience. Oh well, things might have changed. As at then, I could confidently say ekiti was the capital of cultism in South Western Nigeria. Kai!!! 15 Likes 3 Shares |
