This is what it has been reduced to,from watt,to Marian mkt, to Etta agbor exactly opposite unical small gate,to akim branch by Etta agbor and many more. The city has become dirty, bad roads ravaged by potholes, no light and many more. There's nothing Gov Ayade in his 7th year running has to show,no successful development completed. But when you hear him speak on TV you'll think he's achieved a lot, just empty chest beating and big grammar. Then they're sycophants who arse.lick him under every post. How he has a presidential ambition still baffles me,if you can't manage small Cross river state how will you manage Nigeria? That remains a rhetoric! |

Hungrychicken: Depends on the hall of residence you stay in, that Hall4 has not actually been great, the congestion in the rooms is something else. Anyways welcome to the republic, which department are you in? |

These things don't shock me anymore, it's almost common in Nigerian(public)Universities, a case study is the malabor republic in Unical. So much congestion in there 22 Likes |

Yes I think so too, he is learned and has displayed some competency in the past. He's shown a bit of what he can do. But the article says '' he'll continue on the works of President Buhari''. That's where my fear comes in, no sane Nigerian will want to associate with anything that relates Buhari post 2023. I think Yemi Osibanjo and Atiku are the best candidates for that position. Let the best person win, all we want is a good and stable Nigeria, we've been through a lot |

Enice: I know that, all I'm saying is that does Primary school testimonial have a difference from the FSLC, because in private primary schools we were given only testimonial |

Austinosconst: How about those who wrote in private schools? The schools provided them with testimonials and not SUBEB or are they two different documents? (FSLC and Testimonial) |

Even in secondary schools, I'm quite astonished by the assessments I give this children and their performances. To be frank, sometimes the teachers are competent and execute their duties properly but the children are so lazy this time around, in some cases Parents are responsible for this, they pamper these kids excessively. Children do not do their homework, won't write notes and will always sleep in class. I don't know but maybe these children need that discipline which is missing. It's quite pathetic 2 Likes |

okpalaAnambra: Oga stop saying things you don't know sire, this community is one of the primitive and interior villages in cross river that borders Cameroon, stop making it look as if the whole cross river is a forest or whatever. So the other towns like ogoja, obudu, ikom, yala, akpabuyo and the likes aren't in cross river? This is one thing with NL, some comments can be image-damning, they're other primitive places in Nigeria and I'm very sure the state you come from is indifferent, harmful traditional is coexistent in many other States, but once you get to know of one, you use the opportunity to slander. Though you've got some facts right, the different languages isn't limited to Cross River alone, in Rivers, they speak different languages amongst themselves too. Make comments without slanders sir |

''More farmers are needed in the country'' Most times I use to wonder, between ASUU and FG who is innocent in this their whole drama? They'd better resolve their issues so that students can peacefully return to school, this is the 7th month FFS |

JAMB just makes all these things uneasy for students. I still don't get the need for that number to change course when one still has an active email. Misplaced priorities |

Good morning nairalanders, I'm in a state of dilemma right now. I'll try to make the story short as possible because I know I'm posting it in the wrong section and I'm sorry for that. Well I'm a student, and due to the fact that covid 19 has put so many things to a halt, we had to return home and I'm in my rural area now. Things hasn't really been rosy lately as regards to money, so I thought of going out to look for a small job somewhere that could earn me money. Hence it is a rural area, there aren't much job opportunities around so the only feasible place is at my uncle's petrol station. The issue is, I've worked in that station before and I served well until his wife made me leave the place bitterly some years ago. She forgot her phone @ home and came to the station claiming to have plugged it in the oil room, unfortunately I was the only one who entered that room that day to get some gallons so we could purchase diesel from another station to power our lister. She came that evening, claiming to have plugged the phone there and that, she hadn't collected it,she got me embarrassed in public, created a scene, insulted me and threatened to lock me up in a cell for stealing her phone. Not long after, she was called from home through her small phone that her big phone(the tab in question) has been ringing from home all through because series of persons kept dialing the number as I told them I knew nothing about the phone. The trauma she put me through made me to leave the station and she couldn't even apologize. But now whenever she sees me, she smiles, play and greet me well. Now I'm home, the money doesn't seem to be coming by easily that's why I am reconsidering the odds of going back there to work because I know my uncle will welcome me. He knew I was the best worker there as at then,as I was upright in my duties, he was really disappointed that I left because he wasn't around when all of those things transpired. I know my parents would rebuke my idea of going back there,I know it's dead on arrival telling it to them but I can't deny the fact that I need some money too. My parents suggest I go learn a skill now, I don't really know what to do so I need your advises. Thanks Help me tag lalasticlala to move it to front page, I really need advice. Sorry for the long note |
