A simple Google search would have answered this question.

The formula is as shown below.

Your Gp in German scale should be around 2.4 which means you are good to go.

GR_TUM = 3 * [(GRmax - GRd) / (GRmax - GRmin)] + 1

GR_TUM = the GPA you're looking for, converted GPA (German/TUM system)
GRmax = highest possible grade in the non-German grading system, expressed in numbers
GRd = grade earned in the non-German grading system.
GRmin = lowest possible ing grade in the non-German grading system (i.e. the lowest possible grade that would still allow you to the course

An example is illustrated below:

GR_TUM = 3 * [(5 - 4,25) / (5 - 1)] + 1 = 3 * 0,75/4 + 1 = 0,562 + 1 = 1,562

--> one digit after the comma --> your "new" GPA (to use in the application form) would be 1,5

Please keep in mind: The German system recognizes grades from 1,0 (best)
to 4,0 (lowest possible ing grade) - so the result should be within this range.

No I understand that part, someone can fill with pen or on adobe, it doesn't really matter. But talking about bar code, that is what is confusing because if you look at UK student visa application form, there is a bar code, so am not understanding this one of bar code in german visa application form, because I can't see any on it

Morning gurus in the house, my interview date is fast approaching and I don't have my primary school certificate, will an affidavit be okay for me to cover for it, because even back then in my undergrad i used affidavit to cover for it, plus my primary is not even in lagos. I will like to know what those that have done the interview thinks?

Please in filling the visa application form, there are certain parts confusing me, such as:
1. Do you intend to maintain your permanent residence outside the federal republic of ?
2. I intend to stay no longer than 12 months in the federal territory and apply for a visa that covers the whole duration of my stay (i wonder why this part confuses me).
Any Information on these parts are important. Danke

Emailed the embassy on thursday and there was no reply, they told me it will take them five days for my request to be answered.
So i emailed them today and now they are saying that no more booking and am surprised because i emailed them back then. Am just so confused on what to do, does anyone know a i can reach to sought the issue out because this is not just cool at all

Isnt form A only used for tuition payment and don't you need tuition fee invoice for that?

Can you use it to transfer to your own blocked ?

Yeah initially it is for tuition payment but most banks know the procedures for german schools so they are aware about the whole blocked funding. So yeah you can use it for blocked . For the invoice take your blocked details from either deutsch or fintiba on the amount to be sent, also try and print out a portion from your school website that they talked about the cost of living. But before doing all these go and make enquiries at your bank to know more (preferably the headquarters, since they are better informed) and know the requirements.
