Palm oil is $7 per 1 L here at some stores/locations.

No need to bring it. Check local African store as well as Chinese, other Asian and Indian stores.

I did not provide my own personal statement cos it empty.

I used my mom as sponsor. She had just 4.3m and we provided 3 landed properties

Won’t suffice. You should aim full tuition payment and also at least 12M Acc statement cos the VO is going to question the availability of all the money in your moms acc to just your proposed schooling alone

But I’m yet to figure out how to go about this case properly and what evidence to attach to my explanation. As it is now, I only have the application fee payment receipt with me.

In your letter of explanation state clearly that you had a friend assist you with the payment because of scarcity of FX and card limit in Nigeria. Little did you know the payment will be reversed and you don’t mind clearing the payment now as a way of restitution.

Your old port number is on your new port. You don’t have to the old port. You can just the visa and stamp pages.

Good day everyone.. Been following this thread for a while. I'm just so happy that I got my PPR today after initial rejection.

Second application: 28th June
Upfront medicals: 26th July
Medicals ed: 23rd Sept
Eligibility review: 28th Sept
PPR: 21st Oct.

I must add that I had to write the MP yesterday & I got a decision today. I'm not saying he played a role but who knows? Lol

Reason for initial rejection was insufficient funds & reasons given not consistent with that of a temporary stay. I got a gift deed of N10m & tried to convince the VO in my SOP why I chose the particular course of study because it wasn't related to my current practice.

In all, I give God the glory. Those of us who are still waiting will receive good news very soon. Amen.

Thank you for telling us. Does our port get stamped on the same day or do we have to come on another day to collect it?

Three days later it’s ready for pickup. You can opt for delivery or in person pick up as well.

Just felt like putting this out here. If you are in abuja, and did your biometrics in abuja, you can actually do a walk in to submit your port at VFS for stamping.
