I graduated from UPM, my friend who graduated from Inti uni got a job with hays recruitment company because is certificate is 3+0 and mine is local so it can be very funny. The locals don't look at "top best uni" or "best uni in malaysia" they look at what you have.

i sent in my application since 26th of September, the application status is yet to even move from submitted . i tried utm and university of selangor .
pls can you suggest any affordable private school.

certified documents are documents that are stamped and signed by the awarding institution.

I see from the thread a lot of people are having issues with public universities. Why don’t you try accredited private universities or colleges. They do most of the application for you and ission is out in few days and some that same day.

Though tuition is a bit expensive but some are very cheap.

For example i did my Masters (course work) in Westminster international college (Cardiff Metropolitan University Uk certificate) it took me 1yr (MBA). Tuition is about Rm21,000 as at 2016 and I got a refund of Rm2000 after I graduated �

After graduation I’m currently running my PHD in Limkokwing University. Tuition RM13,900 excluding miscellaneous charges.

In summary, if you can afford a private university please apply for a private uni it will save you the stress of EMGS process and so on. Also do your research well not all private universities are recognized abroad. So be mindful.

Yes a friend got his own. But mine I was told they don't allow you to process I was even charged 2300rm for the VAL.
Till now they haven't ed and make payments for the VAL.

You are very lucky, I submitted mine to UTP since July they just initiated my VAL and haven't ed my documents self. Tired of the school already.

upm will tell you to submit your documents directly to the EMGS website and initiate the Val process there. Once your documents are complete, your Val will be processed in less than two weeks

Make sure you your school to pick u up from the KLIA “Immigresen” Airport and don’t go during the holidays if you don’t want to sleep at the Airport for days.

Make i just drop this one here. December last year my girl friend of more than three years broke up with me. Hello, I just got itted to a university in Malaysia and I need to apply for student visa permit from the EMGS but one of the requirements for the visa permit is that I have to resubmit my transcript to them and I have to also show an evidence that I'm good in English by providing a PTE certificate or it's equivalent. So my question is that as a Nigerian do I still to show an English language proficiency test certificate since it was not required of me during my ission application process? And do I still need to resend my transcript since I have already sent to the school before? Please fellow nairalanders that are studying in Malaysia or have a knowledge about Malaysia schools should please reply as soon as possible. Thanks
