I will like you too note that Cameroon HND is not equivalent to Nigeria RN in fact it's not even accepted in Nigeria.
if you graduate with HND certificate in Cameroon and you in intend going back to Nigeria to sit for Nursing Council your certificate won't be accepted. Reason being that. Cameroon HND take 2-3year to obtain while Nigeria HND takes 5-6yrs(National Diploma included) to obtain. Cameroonian don't do ND which is 3yrs program in Nigeria before going for HND. For this reason Ministry of Education see's Cameroonian HND as Nigeria ND.

For the misconception that Some institutions won't accept Nigeria RN degree for the 1 year Bsc top up program. That's a lie. Do you know that there are more than 80 Nigeria RN currently doing their 1year top up degree in University of Bamenda (Government institution).

Yes you can get a job and work as an associate nurse in the UK. Instead of the normal nurse. Associated nurses are also paid well. They earn more than senior career or health care assistant.

I have a few questions myself;
1. For someone that’s an Rn Bsc in Nursing science from Niamey with translation of Certificates and transcripts but is yet to get her licence from Nigerian nursing and midwifery council can she apply for jobs overseas ? I mean nursing jobs and if she can’t, can she apply to work as a nursing assistant for some kind of job in health sector in uk and pls how does she go about it and which agency or job link can she use in applying , even if it’s to secure a job in old people’s home as an assistant nurse till she get settled down abroad and then run some nursing’s courses.
My pony is if it’s not possible what are options for her? She’s yet to get her license in Nigeria because of some circumstances.

That's not true. My friend studies nursing in Poland and he is currently working in the UK. He didn't have to come back to Nigeria to get any license. Please do your research well before posting

Tell you sister to focus on IELTS if her goal is to practice as a nurse in Canada

Once she is able to conquer IELTS she can then apply for adaptation program in Canada with OMNI college 6m-1yrs program

But I will advice her to focus on UK for now since you're not that financially buoyant

It seems the information here is for folks with a Bsc/Msc in nursing, my younger sister just finished from a 3yr program at a school of nursing in Nigeria, not a bec program. what are her options to migrate to Canada? She has no work experience so I am considering having her travel via the student route since no work experience for PR but i dont even know what programs she needs to apply for because the information on the websites that i have checked is confusing...i dont know anything about nursing. What is the best course/program that she can apply to, cost effectiveness is also key so can she leverage her 3yr program from Nigeria to reduce her length of study/conversion. The problem is that you won't be able to get 100% scholarship but I can guarantee you 50% scholarship

Tuition fee 100 - 1000$ (that's if you are ready to study in Turkish language)

Tuition fee 300 - 3500$ ( this is for causes taught in English language)
