Desperate times, desperate measures.

God1000:
It shouldn't be so under normal circumstances.

Not giving people their PVCs for whatever reason is gerrymandering.

Why should I disguise myself to get my PVC

I keep hearing this. As a party, PDP has not tried at all towards this Atiku campaign, seems everyone is just after his money. He has learnt lessons from Jonathan, where people collected monies and just diverted them.
This Atiku money may come later, like down to the electorates directly, I hope not too late. As it stands today APC has full advantage.

chuksanambra:
But Atiku is very useless o.
He has refused to drop money for this election.
People like Agbaje in Lagos are waiting for Atiku to release money and nothing is coming forth.

If there's no money, PDP would lose heavily in a few weeks. Even the old PDP have refused to campaign for PDP since Atiku defected and refused to settle them.

SE that Atiku doesn't need to campaign, he's slapping the faces of all PDP bigwigs. Ekweremadu is suspiciously silent, Ugwuanyi ordered that a billboard showing him and Atiku be pulled down, Umahi is presently teaching Obi a lesson.

How would Atiku be diving votes in a region that WAS sure for him to win?

Come sef, are you sure they didn't send this Atiku to PDP to ensure PDP loses? That is what Tinubu does to PDP in Lagos every 4 years o!

WHAT TO DO WHEN AN INSURANCE COMPANY IS DELAYING YOUR CLAIM

In the event of any delay in claims processing with an insurance company, the first step to take is to ascertain the cause of the delay, and find out if the claims have been fully documented or if there has been a breach of any of the contract/policy or conditions. Notwithstanding the findings, from the above enquiries, the insured or claimant has the following options of redress or pursuing their rights.

i) A formal report could be made to the relevant body of Insurers Trade Association-NIA that has in place an OMBUDSMAN saddled with the responsibility to investigate and resolve such cases.

ii) A formal report can also be made to the sectors Regulators-The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) that has always handled and resolved cases brought before the commission.
iii) The insured or claimant at his discretion can also institute a legal action in pursuance of their right under the motor insurance policy contract.

Like I said, the message isn't about her husband here. The message is about the mindless case of child abuse by adults who are suppose to protect these kids. Her saying the husband not bathing her girls is personal and only reenforces a set of boundaries in her home, it's not a presumption that the husband is going to molest the daughter, you bringing up who bathe her boys raises the inference that by default coz the husband don't bathe the girls, she shouldn't bathe the boys too is unnecessary. My take is keep an eye on daddies bathing girls and mommies bathing boys [qqquote author=sekundosekundo post=73648686]

If she can't allow her husband to bath her little daughters, who'll bath her little boys?

I bath all my little children. When they've come to the age of reasoning. What's wrong with that?[/quote]

Now I know why Nigeria dey as he dey...Morayo used her personal business as an example why on TV in a discussion, with the intent to across a message and lesson, yet somehow that message got lost and here we are chasing shadows. In my discussion with a volunteer that specializes in Lagos there, I learnt most of the cases they have attended to where fathers or uncle's rape kids actually started after events like, (uncle's bathing, cleaning up after the young girls) it's the new reality. People need educate families on the dangers they unknowningly create, and allow people to speak up, but then when someone used the platform available to speak, and we turn the issues on the head like this... Oh people play the 'i was molested card' daily... & If you do actually teach and educate your kids about their privates and the importance of not allowing anyone touch them, even the kids would tell you no you bathing them

Am a man... And I agree with her. It's called choice. Everyone is shouting, but it's some people fathers and uncle's that have continuously raped their daughters mercilessly. It's not only about trust, its about trying to prevent as much as possible all the bullshit and sick stories we read. Kudos to Morayo

Wearing Hijab makes them muslims or makes them to be identified as muslims... You all are hypocrites. I have lived in every part of this country. I attended a Catholic school, the babaadinni's (Muslim chief) kids attended same school as myself. We all read hymn books and attended station of the cross, and am not a Catholic Christian. Up north the Judge of the Sharia Court, Imam Malik all his kids attended Catholic Schools and all conformed to the rules. Why should we bring division into the lives of school kids at such age?
herkeem:
The International School Ibadan (ISI) and the Hijab Ban.

ISI is a secondary school under the control of the management of University of Ibadan. The school has been in the news in the last few days for its refusal to allow willing female Muslim students use Hijab on their uniform. The situation has degenerated to the extent that the Muslim students were shut out of the school among other unwarranted actions of the school as represented by the Principal, one Mrs Phebean Olowe.

I have read and listened to different opinions on the development and I am not sorry for the positions I take on the matter. Before I conclude with my positions however, I have a few questions for the Principal in question as well as anyone with position same as or similar to that of the school management:

1. Does the wearing of Hijab by the willing female Muslim students portend any danger/evil for their colleagues (who don't), the school or anyone for that matter?

2. Is it against the law of the land for the students of such a 'public' school to wear Hijab?

3. Does their observance of that aspect of their constitutional rights rub or deny anyone of his?

If the genuine answers to the above questions are NO, then I am of the opinion that the assertion that the school's reactions are borne out of hatred for Islam and the Muslims must be very true and this has to stop and stop NOW.

And for those who might be asking, does their not wearing Hijab portend any danger? Yes, it does and contrary to the opinions of those that know not, not wearing Hijab makes female muslims less Muslims because it's not a flexible commandment. If your wish is really not to make them non-Muslims, let them use what makes them the Muslims that they are.

I call on all the concerned stakeholders and well meaning people of the society to intervene in good time to allow our female Muslim students their colleagues without any further victimization, molestation, discrimination or disdainful treatment of any kind.

With the current wave we in, I see it going as high as 390 by the elections.
verygudbadguy:
Even with the intervention, the dollar is still on the rise because of political demands. Yesterday cash closed at 363 while inflow closed at 365.5.

We should be looking at 370 before February 2019.

All in all, the CBN has tried to keep the rate down. We don’t know the true value of dollar until this CBN intervention stops though.

For how long would we do this pegging of exchange rate. This oil monetary transmission is bound to packup sooner. Every intervals where we had opportunities to correct some anormalies with the nation, we always get timid. Oil, Foreign Exchange, Constitution Amendments, Wages and Salaries, Reforms, etc list is almost endless.

Some people are feeding very fat with this weekly intervention, and Cbn keeps patting itself on the back for what it knows is unsustainable. Allow the naira adjust to it's shock, in no time it would bounce back slowly on a firm footing and the pains would teach us to value and respect our economy, politicians won't just talk anyhow cause of the effect on the economy while our capital market would benefit greatly.
