First of all I don't think there's a single shuwa or baggara in those pictures. Secondly, when an appreciation thread is created, it's to well...appreciate. Did she say all hausas or fulas look like these men? Why would she post pictures of old merchants or herdsmen? Some im.beciles like you have this image of what hausas or fulas or northerners are supposed to look like based on the so called northerners you see in the south. Smh! It's really sad when a man is jealous of other men, I can understand women being jealous of each other but a man? You reek of low self esteem! It's embarrassing!

Even as of that, u don't need to celebrate jungle justice, had it been the guy died @ the process, it means u have sow and partake in shedding blood, I have walk into one Guy that stole my rolex watch, laptop and 10k, immediately he saw me, he wanted to ran away, I Beckon on him to stop, he was shivering hoping that I will raise alarm instead I start preaching to him, I advice him to repent or he will endup in sad note , the guy start shedding tears before me, I invited him to my church, he honored the invitation, after the service I introduce him to my pastors, he prayed to him and do some deliverance,
I later lost with him, after some years, few weeks ago the guy found me through my facebook, he currently base in canada earning a good salary, he sent some gift to me through DHL when I opened it, it was brand new DELL laptop, watch and few pieces of $100 bill and other stuffs,

according to the Op u said the guy father is rich and had a hotel somewhere, do you think this thing is ordinary At times their are forces behind those incriminating lifestyles, they are not born a thief, there are some black forces behind it , we suppose to be kind to our fellow human being, nothing in this world will make me partake in jungle justice... Money can buy all those things back, but can money bring dead person back to the land of the living

Moral lesson despite anything allow love to reign supreme among us....
May God bless you abundantly. You displayed the attitude of a Christian there de same way we were taught by christ. I hope ur story inspires other people.

Look at those kids very well, a very important dignitary in the nearest future is sitting right in that dilapidated school

That is why Yorubas have a saying:

An jonrin, sugbon a o mo ori olowo lola

Meaning: we may be good childhood friends, but we don't know who's going to strike it rich in the future.

I commend their parents for taking them to school despite all odds..

Northern Nigeria, hello?! Do the same and help your kids..

Rxpetite...you hit the nail on the head. Our problem is not Islam, it's the North. Islam really is peaceful. I have read every part of the Koran and there is no part that proscribes what these animals did. The Hausas by their very nature are very violent people.

I bet you it would have been more same thing had it been Christianity got to them first. They would have probably practiced the Old Testament version of an 'eye for an eye' and ignored the part where Jesus Christ said you should turn the other cheek.

ask yourself this question-why are northern christians peaceful, when they are not trying to revenge attacks from their muslim brothers? what differentiates a northern xtian from a northern muslim? if u anser correctly den u will know why northern muslims are violent. their religion is the only difference!

They should be jailed in the east.
Our problem is not Islam as a religion. Our problem is the Northerners.
These people are violent, poor and uneducated - a very dangerous combination. As if that is not enough some wicked person introduced a religion such as Islam to them.

There are Muslims in the west for God's sake. Are those ones practising a the China version of Islam?

There are as many violence provoking ages in the Bible as there are in the Koran. Are we practicing the fake version?

Are these northerners the only people who have religion?
Go and read up on Islam, it is a different religion. Islam is very dangerous even in the west only that attacks are stopped ryt before they happen. those peaceful muslims u see are westernised and naturally peace-loving people. Ask any ex-muslim u know. i love my middle-belt and yoruba muslims though, peace loving people. And pls stop calling northerners uneducated cos the educated ones are the people spearheading these attacks.

Can you give your reasons?.. If southern Muslims don't act violently and radically like their Northern counterparts, don't you think it has nothing to do with the religion but with individual mindset and orientation...
Your constructive views will be highly appreciated..
Yoruba muslim are not serious muslims. In the north they are even considered infidels.

And yet people fought against the Religious regulation bill El-Rufai tried to ..

An Imam caused this. Preaching extremist messages to their congregation and nobody was checking him.

Poor Education caused this as well.. If we can try to make sure that EVERYBODY gets a very good Primary and Secondary Education Nationwide, these types of Extremism will reduce.

Poor Guy..
stop that poo. terrorists are mostly highly educated. The original boko haram burnt dia certificates. isis leader has a ph.d in islamic studies etc etc. some of these people are even lecturers and teachers for christ sakes.

We do no have enough information as to whether this was a religious fight or not so let's not jump to conclude yet.
And for those shouting break up whenever this happens, know that it doesn't solve any of our internal issues which are worse.
As an ND girl I can authoritatively tell you that we are NOT united. Is it the Ishekiris and the Ijaws that will live peacefully together Let's look at my state, there's a serious supremacy battle between the Ibibios, annangs and the Oron people. The Efiks being the most powerful people in Cross River does not go down well with the other over 20 ethnic groups there. So how will an Akwa/Cross country look like? undecided

As for middlebelt, do we need to remind ourselves of the numerous community fights going on there?
What about the Christians and other minority tribes in the core North? How will they cope with the overbearing majority of the Hausa/Fulani Muslim community?

The SW may thrive for a little while because of their system of checks and balances and the fact that they have leaders that they collectively recognize and respect. However, Yoruba communities also fight a lot, it will just be a matter of time before they start back st

there is division within virtually all tribes but wen push comes to shove we all recognise our real enemies. Do you think an igbo/yoruba man however disunited his tribe is will exchange his kinsman for an Hausa or fulani man? Never! There is division everywhere but there is a very wider gulf between some tribes and other tribes eg Hausa or Fulani vs Igbo, water and oil.

In a state in North-Central Nigeria, the Fulanis have made themselves devils. They rob and kidnap road s at will, and later demand for huge ransoms, and nothing is being done about it.

They move with sophisticated weapons; how they acquire such, I don't know.

In fact, they killed the head of the vigilante group in one of the communities. The people there are already scared. I am also scared what happened in Agatu might happen there, too.

The police can't help. And now, the FG is saying this? This is just wickedness, and God will punish anybody that's against military action on these cruel baastards.
Kogi state? They do a lot of kidnapping here especially along the Ajaokuta-Okene axis.

PDP reacts
I am tempted to believe pdp's version.
1. Our president looking really frail/weak during the democracy day broadcast.
2. The high profile visits from OBJ and GEJ.
3. The failed visit to Ogoniland becos of a "minor" ear infection. Hard to believe for me. That visit was too important to be cancelled becos of a minor ailment or an imagined threat from a rag-tag army of militants.
4. PDP just twitted it.
5. etc etc etc.
i wish him well.

Islam is a religion of peace. Peace should have two definitions-one by Muslims, the other as understood by the rest of the world. I love non-muslim peace though.

I played with Kelechi Iheancho same team, during the U14 Nigerian Chief of Naval staff cup held at Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium Enugu 2006. We represented our state Imo state, we were selected from Academy football club coached by Mr Taiye in owerri we were 25 players. That year we lost " the finals to the hosting state Enugu state after a penalty shootout. Although Iheancho ended up being the Best player of the tournament and also 2nd highest goal scorer. Then I was 13years and he was a year older than me (14years). From 2006 till 2016 that's 10 years difference, this means he, Kelechi Iheanacho is 24years now. This is true and nothing but true.

Never overtake a vehicle ahead until the driver of the vehicle knows u want to overtake. With thousands of potholes on our roads, the driver ahead may swerve to dodge potholes at any point.
